Hello my friends. It is me, back with a new post. This time, we're gonna do an Ubers team, which currently has an amazing win/loss ratio. I wanted to build around Deoxys-A, but in every battle a certain 4 members usally end up being my win cons.

deoxys-attack.gif

Deoxys-Attack @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 68 Atk / 252 SpA / 188 Spe
Rash Nature
- Low Kick
- Psycho Boost
- Extreme Speed
- Ice Beam

Ah, Deoxys-A. Heighest Base offensive stats in the game. 180 / 180 / 150 is truly something to tremble at, along with STAB Psycho Boost, with life orb, has a 43.8% chance to OHKO Max SpDef groudon after a layer of Spikes, and all offensive variants die reguardless. Also a strong priority use with extreme speed, (though not as strong as Arceus) the given EVs lets It outspeed Scarf Xerneas with a neutral nature (phe. Who even uses that when you get LO and Geo?) and the other EVs goes into making Psycho Boost abliterate everything. Low Kick is used over Super Power so I don't get a Atk and def drop, still hitting the heavy behemoths of the Uber tier for around 110 base power. Ice beam is my filler to hit the ever so common Mega mence for 4x effective damage, along with doing nice damage to Yveltal. I have to play carefully with Deoxys though, as 50 / 20 / 20 Defensive are in that little cup range. Rash is used over mild to take more than one rapid spin.

greninja.gif

Greninja @ Focus Sash
Ability: Protean
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Taunt
- HP ground / Hydro pump / Ice beam

Greninja, although losing most of its offensive presence in Ubers, is a great lead with access to Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Taunt can shut down set up sweepers, or other rockers, though they usually outspeed like the likes of Deoxys-S. Spikes is very helpful becuase not only can it do helpful things such as break Darkrais sash if it has one, but also help achieve some kills. Now the last move is a toss up, though I prefer HP ground to catch those P-dons and laugh as they take 22% if SpDef and 35% if offensive. Hydro Pump can also be used To hit everything bar P-Don, and ice beam can be used to catch things like mega mence. There are other options, but I prefer one of these three.

groudon-primal.gif

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 180 Atk / 76 SpA / 252 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Rock Polish
- Solar Beam
- Precipice Blades
- Stone Edge

For the most part, a lot of P-Don you'll see are defensive. So im betting, you'll put a defensive P-Don check before an Offensive one. Now that is true. Defensive P-Don is very good. But look at that 180 Atk and 150 SpA and think offence. I look at the base 90 Spe, and go, "Hm. I need a reliable way to raise its speed." And I found Rock polish. Ok. Not really. But you get the point. But I though "how can I make Desolate Land good offensively?" So i though a fire move, but then I looked at Solar Beam. 120 power, no change in sunlight, and 100% accuracy. The Given EVs let me 2HKO physically Defensive Arcues-Water with Solar Beam, and 2HKO SpDef with precipice blades. 252 Speed lets me speed tie +1 Jolly mega mence after a rock polish, and then do nice damage with Stone Edge. Lonely Nature increases my attack much heigher, as Precipice Blades is the obligary STAB.

blaziken.gif

Blaziken @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- High Jump Kick
- Flare Blitz
- Stone Edge

Ok, you may be wondering why its not mega, but I didn't want to waste my mega slot on this and LO does more damage anyway. After a SD, Just start throughing phoder untill i kiłł myslef with recoil. This thing is extremely powerful, with 3 moves over 100 base power, two of them getting STAB, and the other having good coverage. 252+ Atk lets it have Max power, as its speed is going to naturally get boosted. But this things rampage dosent last long, as its frail and if I miss High jump kick or kiłł something from full with Flare blitz i take way to much recoil.

salamence-mega.gif

Salamence-Mega @ Salamencite
Ability: Aerilate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Substitute
- Return

I took the Speed Of P-Don, combined it with the power of blaziken, needed a mega, and I got this monster. Mega salamence it one of the strongest mons in the game, with all sorts of set up and attacking power. I chose Jolly to speed tie with Arcues forms before a DD, outspeed 252+ Spe lugia. (yes I've seen lower ladder players use them. Heck for my first week or two at showdown I used one. Ya. Embarising times.) and to speed tie 252 RP P-Don. Return is an amazingly powerful move, but at one point I used Double edge, though it had the same problem has blaziken in recoil. With intimidate as its ability before mega and then it gets a +50 BS on defence lets it set up a lot of physical attackers.

xerneas.gif

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 72 HP / 252 SpA / 184 Spe
Modest Nature
- Geomancy
- Moon Blast
- Thunder
- Focus Blast

Geomancy Xerneas is one of the most powerful team cleaner, able to easily finish off opponents once everything has been weakened. +2 STAB Fairy Aura Moonblast Hits everything like a truck, and it's covergae moves hit what it dosnt, as P-Don can only switch in so many times to so many attackers, and Aegislash Is quickly worn down to. Thunder is nice for perfect accuaracy vs P-ogre, and is also a way to OHKO mega gar at full health. Focus Blast is to hit Steels and P-Don.

Ho-Oh: As I have no SR, it seems like it could be quite the problem, but I want to keep my Hyper Offece style and RP P-Don. This one is mostly on paper.
Lugia: this frikin thing. 130 Def 154 SpDef, roost, T wave, Multiscale. This thing was my favorite mon when I played Soulsilver, but I hate it here
Xerneas: Although it usally can't Geo becuase I try to keep offensive pressure, when it does it's quite annoying to stop.
Darkrai: Lead Darkrais are very annoying, especially if they have a focus sash.

Anyway, that's the team and if you would like to try it or leave some helpful advise to a somewhat ok player, please comment below :)

Hello Clawshock50 ! Nice to see you RMT'ed a Toxic Spikes team with my favorite Spikes setter Greninja. People really need to get familiar a bit more with the Toxic Spikes concept which with good team support can really work well when needed.

Now about your team, what I like is the choice of some Pokemons. Some Pokemons you chose work well on Toxic Spikes teams, however, many moves choices and EV spreads are sub optimal. The absence of Stealth Rock is very dangerous to your team too and a big advantage to some of your opponents. This team also suffers from some weaknesses I will list here:
1) Darkrai(Focus Sash or Life Orb(most popular set and the most dangerous to your team)): can induce sleep to 5 of your Pokemons including your main lead(Greninja) and set up Nasty Plot to 1HKO everything while the 6th Pokemon, being Deoxys-A, is not even a switch in but only a revenge killer which is very unreliable.
2) Xerneas: Xerneas at +2 cleans your team, mainly because of 0 special bulk investment on Primal Groudon.
3) Primal Kyogre(specially the physically offensive set): no switch ins besides Primal Groudon who lacks the special bulk to check it effectively. It's also bulky enough to take hits from your offensive pokemons and 1 shot them.
4) Mewtwo-Y and Life Orb Mewtwo: can Taunt your lead and proceed to kill at least 2 pokemons with it's high speed, coverage moves and the lack of checks on your side too.
5) Sableye+Lugia core: present on a big portion of stall teams, it walls your team specially that you don't have Stealth Rock.

What you did wrong:
1) Forgot to check well the #1 threat Toxic Spikes team struggle against while building: Darkrai.
2) Went for sheer force and only ultra offensive choices without checking if your back was safe which lead to having the weaknesses I talked about before.

Team fixes:
1) Choice Scarf Xerneas>Geomancy Xerneas. With Sleep Talk and Choice Scarf it will be your Darkrai check, a soft Mewtwo check and a good way to pressure Defog Pokemons like Latias/Latios/Giratina-O/Mega Salamence.
Xerneas @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 32 Def / 252 SpA / 224 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Thunder
- Sleep Talk
2) Mega Salamence's set and EV spread is nice(Jolly max speed has some advantages) but use Facade>Substitute because Scarfed Xerneas opens up a small Ho-oh weakness so Facade is great if you are burned and it's also good vs stall since stall relies on status spam.
3) Use Shadow Sneak>Scald on Greninja. It allows you to kill Sashed Deoxys-A(Since you transform into a ghost and he can't use Extreme speed). It also allows you to change into a ghost type and block spins. Use Jolly>Timid with max attack max speed.
4) Your Deoxys-A set is nice and can break stalls fine. But you need at least 236 Evs speed to outspeed Mewtwo and Mega Gengar as well as Darkrai and Shaymin so 238 EVs in speed>188 EVs in speed.
5) Use this Groudon set. It has Dragon Tail to kick a predicted switch in of Latias/Latios/Giratina-O and Mega Salamence who comes in to Defog away your hazards. It also has enough bulk to live 3 Ice Beams from Defensive Kyogre after Rocks, It checks Geomancy Xerneas Well and Hits hard.
Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Fire Punch
- Precipice Blades
- Dragon Tail
- Stealth Rock
6) Your Blaziken is nice. Even if High Jump Kick is risky but if you like it, It's ok.
Hope I helped and good luck!

Hey, nice team. I noticed that you hated Ho-Oh and Lugia, so here's my favourite check for both.

Sageking (Zekrom) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bolt Strike
- Outrage
- Stone Edge
- Crunch

This beast outspeeds close to everything, OHKOs Ho-Oh, 2HKOs Lugia, OHKOs Pogre and revenge kills a whole heap of other mons. Feel free to use, just keep the nickname the same.
