M&M Setup Corviknight [Done]

[SET]
Bulky Setup (Corviknight) @ Sablenite / Venusaurite
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD OR 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed OR Sassy Nature 252spd is good with both, for clarification for whoever implements on smogon (is it 248/8/252 or 248/8/252 or 248/252/8? idk how itd be implemented but first spread should have both options available since 252spd relaxed means corv is a mixed bulk wall rather than a pdef or spdef wall)
IVs: 0 Spe
- Body Press / Brave Bird
- Iron Defense / Bulk Up
- U-turn / Defog
- Roost

[SET COMMENTS]
Corviknight is a potent setup user thanks to its fantastic bulk, useful defensive utility and typing, and ability to punish opposing physical setup from the likes of Dragonite and Great Tusk. IronPress allows for more instant anti-setup pressure, notably switching into and beating Fire Punch Dragonite without issue, while physically defensive Bulk Up + Brave Bird is better at dealing more instantaneous damage, especially Flying-weak or Fighting-resistant Pokemon like Urshifu-RS and Spectrier. U-turn in combination with Sablenite allows Corviknight to keep its ability to bounce entry hazards without hassle while bringing in frailer teammates like Urshifu-RS and Dragapult, while Defog is a better option on fatter teams where momentum isn't as necessary. Specially defensive variants can use both a Relaxed and Sassy nature depending on the team's needs, while physically defensive variants should always use a Relaxed nature. Venusaurite is useful on physically defensive Bulk Up + Brave Bird variants to answer the likes of Hisuian Arcanine and Iron Moth in a pinch while denying Stealth Rock from the former in conjunction with Defog.

Corviknight fits best on balance and stall teams, with some viability on bulky offense teams thanks to its defensive prowess. Teammates like Ceruledge, Urshifu-RS, and Raging Bolt adore Corviknight's ability to slow pivot them onto the field while blocking most entry hazard-setting attempts from the likes of Magearna, faster Garganacl variants, and the Arceus formes. Corviknight fears Garganacl's Salt Cure, notably chunking it every turn for 1/4 of its health, so answers like Lopunnite Iron Boulder, Great Tusk, and Urshifu-RS are greatly appreciated; Substitute Arceus-Ghost can also use non-Pinsirite Garganacl as setup fodder. Stronger Fire-types like Heatran, along with Iron Moth and Hisuian Arcanine when excluding Venusaurite, greatly pressure Corviknight, so answers like Hearthflame Mask Great Tusk, Arceus-Water, and Ho-Oh are necessary. Electric-types like Regieleki and Raging Bolt are also extremely problematic for Corviknight, so answers like non-Fighting-type Great Tusk, Arceus-Ground, Eternatus, and Altarianite Dragonite are essential. Venusaurite variants should be paired with an alternative Sablenite user like Blissey, Hippowdon, or Cresselia, as entry hazard denial is especially important on bulkier teams.

Corviknight is a potent setup user thanks to its fantastic bulk, useful defensive utility and typing, and ability to punish opposing physical setup. Iron Defense + Body Press IronPress ("IronPress" is legal) allows for more instant anti-setup pressure, notably switching into and beating Fire Punch Altarianite (it switches into Fire Punch DNite regardless of the stone) Dragonite without issue, while physically defensive Bulk Up + Brave Bird is better at dealing more damage, especially versus Ceruledge and Spectrier. U-turn in combination with Sablenite allows Corviknight to keep its ability to block entry hazard setup without hassle while bringing in frailer teammates like Urshifu-RS and Dragapult (Dragapult is terrible imo, I'd suggest adding some other Pokemon that benefits the free switch, such as Raging Bolt and Ceruledge. I even wonder if examples are necessary here, since you've already talked about them in the teammates section), while Defog is a better option on fatter teams where momentum isn't as necessary. Roost provides reliable recovery. (Unnecessary to describe about Roost) Specially defensive variants can use both a Relaxed and Sassy nature depending on the team's needs, while physically defensive variants should always use a Relaxed nature. (I see what you're trying to convey, but it just feels unnecessarily long. Is it possible for you to just mention that Relaxed is usable on SpD set?) Venusaurite is useful on physically defensive Bulk Up + Brave Bird variants to answer Hisuian Arcanine and Ceruledge in a pinch while denying Stealth Rock from the former. (I'd suggest move this sentence to where you explained about BU Brave Bird Set. Also did you get mixed up with Sablenite when talking about the SR, or is it something to do with Defog?? If its defog then please mention it here) (Bonk said to not make another paragraph ;-;) Corviknight fits best on balance and stall teams, with some viability on bulky offense teams thanks to its defensive prowess. Teammates like Ceruledge, Urshifu-RS, and Raging Bolt adore Corviknight's ability to slow pivot them onto the field while blocking most hazard setting attempts from the likes of Magearna, faster Garganacl variants, and the Arceus formes. Corviknight fears Garganacl's Salt Cure, notably chunking it every turn for 1/4 of its health, (everyone knows this) so answers like Lopunnite Iron Boulder, Great Tusk, and Urshifu-RS are greatly appreciated; Substitute Arceus-Ghost can also use non-Pinsirite Garganacl as setup fodder. Fire-types like Heatran, Ceruledge, and, without Venusaurite, Hisuian Arcanine greatly pressure Corviknight with their high-power Fire moves, (Another obvious fact) so answers like Hearthflame Mask Great Tusk, Arceus-Water, and Ho-Oh are necessary. Electric-types like Regieleki and Raging Bolt are also extremely problematic for Corviknight despite the former being soft checked by Corviknight at times, so switch-ins like non-Fighting-type Great Tusk, Arceus-Fairy, (not very sure about this one tbh) and Altarianite Dragonite are essential. Venusaurite variants should be paired with an alternative Sablenite user like Blissey, Hippowdon, or Cresselia as Sablenite is generally otherwise superior and (errrr.....) hazard denial is especially important on bulkier teams.

Corviknight is a potent setup user thanks to its fantastic bulk, useful defensive utility and typing, and ability to punish opposing physical setup. IronPress allows for more instant anti-setup pressure, notably switching into and beating Fire Punch Dragonite without issue, while physically defensive Bulk Up + Brave Bird is better at dealing more damage consistently, especially versus Ghost-types like Ceruledge and Spectrier. U-turn in combination with Sablenite allows Corviknight to keep its ability to bounce entry hazards without hassle while bringing in frailer teammates like Urshifu-RS and Dragapult, while Defog is a better option on fatter teams where momentum isn't as necessary. Electric-types like Regieleki and Raging Bolt are also extremely problematic for Corviknight despite the former being soft checked by Corviknight at times feels like fluff when trying to prove your point here, so switch-ins like non-Fighting-type Great Tusk Arceus-Ground trying to give a different example here since Tusk has already been mentioned so much lol, Magearna Eternatus Again, I feel Magearna still doesn'tlike taking Electric moves from either of the aforementioned 2 and it wants to stay as healthy as it can throughout the match, and Altarianite Dragonite are essential. Venusaurite variants should be paired with an alternative Sablenite user like Blissey, Hippowdon, or Cresselia as entry hazard denial is especially important on bulkier teams. Specifically mention how Hippowdon is a Ground type and pairs extremely well by virtue of its typing in conjunction with Corviknight's typing.
