Anyway, if you haven't started hating me after reading that, then keep reading cos I'm gonna be even nastier! Just kidding, I'm not that cruel ;) Right getting off topic again, so yeah haven't been on this for a while blah blah blah got a new team blah blah blah here to get it rated basically cos i just want a team that can kick the **** out of other ones. Obviously you can't get a perfect team that can never be beating but I still want a bad a*s team. So hopefully this atually get's rated after the little jokes i had at the start, and thanks to the guys who rate this :)

Now for the Team

forretress.png

Forretress@ Leftovers
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Sturdy
EV's: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
~ Spikes
~ Toxic Spikes
~ Rapid Spin
~ Volt Switch

Forretress? Yeh you look as weird as Susan Boyle but girl I love you! The hits that this thing can take is amazing! I gave her the Sassy nature set due to the fact her defence is already through the roof and some special defence infested might be nice. Obviously, she leads with Spikes and Toxic Spikes to get the battle started and when the opponent trys to set up she Rapid Spins and then get the f*ck out with Volt Switch. Simple as that.

Tyranitar@ Leftovers
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Sand Stream
EV's: 252 HP / 64 SpA / 192 SpD
~ Stealth Rock
~ Crunch
~ Fire Blast
~ Ice Beam

The legend of legends that is this beast. Don't make him Chris Brown yo' a*s. Nu uh. Basically, once Forretress has switched out he comes in and sets up Stealth Rock then starts getting through the opponents team like wild fire. Crunch is for a nice strong STAB. Fire Blast handles the steal types that try to f*ck with him. Ice Beam is for the top threats in the metagame such as Gliscor who don't like being hit with a beam of ice.

472-back.png

Gliscor@ Toxic Orb
Nature: Impish
Ability: Poison Heal
EV's: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spe
~ Swords Dance
~ Earthquake
~ Ice Fang
~ Taunt

This is my homie right here check him out! Last gen he was just a 'meh' pokemon but this gen he's like 'OMG I NEED TO GET MYSELF ONE OF THOSE BADBOYS!' All in just one gen. Thanks to Poison Heal, he gets to fight one most of the metagame now and gets to use his new awesome movepool. After one Sword Dance, he gets to KO / 2KO mostly anything with STAB Earthquake and Ice Fang which handles opposing Gliscors and Dragon types. And with Taunt, he can stop other pokemon from getting pumped such as the likes of Conkeldurr (if thats how you spell it idk).

94-frame1.png
94-back.png

Gengar@ Life Orb
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Substitute
~ Thunderbolt
~ Shadow Ball
~ Focus Blast

This is honestly my favorite pokemon. He just looks so awesome! As for the set, I prefer over the 'Disable' set cos well, I'm classy. No just kidding, its because i fell like I need Thuderbolt to handle Gyarados which is a potential threat to the team. So he Substitutes then strikes with STAB Shadow Ball or Focus Blast which can easily handle pokemon such as Ferrothorn. Well thats basically it for him. Simple as that.

Gyarados(P)Sprite.png
gyarados.png

Gyarados@ Life Orb
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Stone Edge
~ Earthquake

This guy is up for some serious buisness. He will kill anything that gets in his way after one DD. STAB Waterfall packs quite a punch don't it. Stone Edge kills Salamence and Dragonite along with other Gyarados. Earthquake affects the majority of the metagame really. Don't know what else to say apart from that he is a killing machine...

haxorus.png
612.png

Haxorus@ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Mold Breaker
EV's: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
~ Outrage
~ Earthquake
~ Brick Break
~ Dual Chop

Haxorus, what an awesome pokemon you are. I mean, you have axe's at the each side of your face! That just spells awesome. He has to be one of the best dragons in my opinion he probably isnt accoridng to you guys but personally i think he is cos with his attack girl hes gonna be sweeping sh*t! STAB Outrage is just the best for any dragon type. Earthquake handles various steel types. Brick Break does the same but with Ferrothorn most likely. Dual Chop breaks substitue which is really useful.

So there you have it. And because I'm just fooling around with this team I'm open to any suggestions you have and will props change some pokemon if needed. Just not Gengar since I'm in love with that guy. Yeh, so thanks to the people who rate this bye :)

Team is rather solid altho i do have some things i would change.

Gyarados loves to have taunt , makes it easier to set up on skarmory for example.
Also it prevents 'counters' from stalling it out.

And then i was going to say that you are lacking special attacking force... but tyranitars fire blast will manage i guess.
Alltho without speed he might be ko'd before actually using its attacks.
Ferrothorn will be a huge pain after Ttar dies as a focus blast from gengar doesnt KO ... at all . Sometimes it can even take 2 (defenatly the protect sets)

But thats more a matter of keeping Ttar safe when you see a ferrothorn in preview.

Thanks for the rate :) Yeh ferrothorn could be a problem to ttar but if he gets fire blast in, then all is good :) if he doesnt then haxorus can try brick breaking him :)

DD gyarados will give this team a tough time seeing that your defensive core capable of dealing damage is water-weak and you have and no scarfer to revenge-kill him. I think Gengar would appreciate a choice scarf and HP ice over sub and life orb myself.

Though I can't help suggesting this set for Gliscor:

Gliscor @toxic orb
Poison Heal
Impish (+def -sp. atk)
EVs: 252 HP, 252 def, 4 spd
Earthquake
Toxic
Substitute
Protect

This is such a fun set to run (though I honestly can't help but feeling sorry for the other player). Toxic is main form of damage and then you sub protect your way to victory with poison heal healing sub damage in two turns. EQ is so you're not complete taunt-bait. I've had a lot of success with this set in OU myself so maybe you want to try it.

Nice team. I'll start with some minor things, and then move on to any large problems I think you may have.

1. Personally, I always like to keep Gyro Ball over Toxic Spikes on Forretress. Since you're running Volt Switch to maintain switch advantage, you need a way to deal with powerful physical attackers like Terrakion. Simply tanking Close Combats from Terrakions and doing nothing in return will do nothing for you, and it will give your opponent an advantage as your Forre is basically set up fodder.

2. On Gengar, i suggest you run Leftovers over Life Orb. Although Life Orb may seem appealing, Life Orb+Substitute=Gengar not surviving for very long. Although the power drop is some what large, it's certainly worth it.

3. Finally, run a bulkier Gyarados set. This team has problems with Volcarona, especially in the sun. Without Hidden Power Rock, Volcarona can't really touch Gyarados. The extra bulk is necessary to ensure that Gyarados can continue to switch into Volcarona. Here's the set

move 1: Substitute
move 2: Dragon Dance
move 3: Waterfall
move 4: Stone Edge/ Bounce
item: Leftovers
nature: Adamant
evs: 80 HP / 224 Atk / 20 Def / 184 Spe
Good Luck !

Sir already mentioned running a bulky Gyarados, but if you really must keep an offensive one, I'd at least recommend running 168 EV's in speed, and 90 in HP. This allows you to hit 264 speed, and at +1 you outrun max speed base 130's, and at +2 you outrun max speed Timid Scarfed Lati@s, plus the bit more bulk. Hopefully I can get around to a more full rate in a little while.

Hey, pretty cool team you have here. I took a look at certain threats that might give you some issues and there were a few that stood out at a glance. Bulk up Breloom in particular might be pretty annoying to you especially since it sets up on a myriad of your team members and is only really threatened by Haxorus' outrage or maybe coming into fire blast from Tyranitar. Rotom-W is sort of in the same boat here although you do once again have Haxorus to make a decent check to it. In order to alleviate this problem, I would simply try celebi over haxorus. Celebi allows you to easily switch into breloom and win against it pretty much all of the time while also giving you a great initial switch into other threats such as Rotom-W, which can be a huge pain in your side with will-o-wisp. I would simply run a nasty plot set with giga drain / hp fire / recover and a spread of 220 HP / 252 SpA / 36 Spe. Psychic is another option in another moveslot if you wish to easily ko specially defensive bulk up breloom, but that is up to you.

With that change, I would definitely try to run a choice banded Tyranitar over your current version. With choice banded Tyranitar, your team is able to set up almost perfectly for a Gyarados sweep later in the match. Choice banded Tyranitar lures in and ko's prominent steel types such as Skarmory and sometimes even Scizor while Terrakion takes 50% from a choice banded stone edge. If you can manage to eliminate Rotom-W with Celebi and lure in and ko defensive steel types such as Skarmory and Forretress then Gyarados is free to sweep teams later in the match. At this point, I would run stealth rock over toxic spikes on Forretress. Toxic spikes isn't really benefiting your team much at all and if you decide to try and opt for choice band Tyranitar, then running stealth rocks on Forretress fit pretty nicely.

Hey, nice team!

I actually had a whole paragraph written about changing Gyarados to Gastrodon, but in the end, I think that taking Sir's suggestion of a bulkier Gyarados [I honestly think 156 HP / 72 Atk / 96 Def / 184 Spe with Adamant is the superior option, but its up to you, really] and AB2's of Celebi over Haxorus will get the job done. That being said, I'll leave you with the suggestion of Choice Scarf Tyranitar over your current build. This is for a couple of reasons, one being the fact that it can revenge it can revenge a lot of key threats that your team relies on 1 team member to really beat, such as Swords Dance Lucario, who Gyarados isn't a great counter to unless its a Restalk set and whom Gengar is your only means of revenging at +2 if you take AB2's suggestion of changing Haxorus to Celebi [Haxorus has a good chance of being OHKO'd by +2 Extremespeed after SR]. Choice Scarf Tyranitar also provides you decent insurance against Offensive Rain Dragonite and its combo of Aqua Tail and Hurricane, which nothing on your team really wants to switch in. Tyranitar is able to come in against Aqua Tail, although you can lure Dragonite into using Hurricane, and take down Dragonite with Stone Edge, or force it to take heavy damage with Pursuit so that other team members can clean up. Choice Scarf Tyranitar also has awesome synergy with Forretress, as Forretress can Volt Switch on a predicted Starmie switchin and go to Tyranitar, which is able to outspeed and kill starmie [as well as trap it with Pursuit], keeping your hazards on the field.

Anyways, here's the ScarfTar set, good luck with the team.

Tyranitar (F) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Superpower

Hey,

Pretty cool team. The first thing I spot is a weakness to opposing Gyarados. After a Dragon Dance, he out speeds every Pokemon on your team and will sweep you. He sets up on Haxorus locked into the wrong move, Tyranitar, and to an extend, Forretress as Volt Switch only does around 40%. The easiest fix to this would be to put a Slowbro over Gliscor. Slowbro walls many physical threats that Gliscor does and serves a better check to Conkeldurr. If you do decide to run Slowbro, I would run a Relaxed nature with 29 Spd IVs to under speed Conkeldurr so Payback won't do as much. A move set of Scald / Ice Beam / Psychic / Slack Off should work. I suggest a standard 252 HP / 252 Def spread for EVs.

Slowbro Set:
Slowbro @ Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Trait: Regenerator
IVs: 29 Spd
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
-Ice Beam
-Scald
-Psychic
-Slack Off

If you decide to use to use Slowbro over Gliscor, you will be slightly weaker to Scizor. I think a great option would be to run a Sub + 3 attacks set on Gengar to lure in Scizor. Substitute / Shadow Ball / Focus Blast / HP Fire with the spread with the you have now should work well.

Gengar Set:
Gengar @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spd / 4 HP
-Hidden Power [Fire]
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
-Substitute

Although Life Orb provides more power, that along with Sandstorm damage will cut your sweeps short. I would suggest a bulky DD set. This allows you to shut down Skarmory, Ferrothorn, and set up Pokemon in general that would interfere with your sweep. It will also increase longevity, allowing you to sweep for longer. Gyarados can also provide a switch into Scizor.

Gyarados Set:
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP / 72 Atk / 96 Def / 184 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Bounce/Stone Edge
-Taunt

Your Tyranitar set looks like it could be improved. Without a lot of attack, Reuniclus will have a much easier time with your team. I would change your Tyranitar set to an offensive Chople Berry set. With Chople Berry, you can take on Hydreigon, Gengar, and Reuniclus much better. With a more offensive set, you can usually beat Reuniclus. With this set, you still have enough bulk to take on Latios though. Since you don't have to run a Sassy nature with this set, you can beat opposing Tyranitar as well with Superpower.

Tyranitar Set:
Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Nature: Careful
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 156 HP / 252 Attk / 100 SpD
-Stealth Rocks
-Crunch
-Pursuit
-Superpower

Also, I second AB2's suggestion for Celebi over Haxorus.

In a nutshell,
  • Slowbro > Gliscor
  • New Gengar set
  • New Gyarados set
  • New Tyranitar set

Pretty cool. GL.

I agree with lots of the great rates here. I second AB2's suggestion of giving Tyranitar an offensive set, but not Choice Band, mainly because it can leave this team wide-open when your major tank is locked into a wrong move and forced out and you have to put your frailer mons in danger. I suggest a Lum Berry set:

Tyranitar @ Lum Berry | Sandstream
Adamant | 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Crunch | Pursuit | Stone Edge | Superpower / Focus Punch

This set provides some advantages over your current set. First of all, Lum Berry provides an advantage when you're facing a weather war against a Sun Team. Handful of Ninetales try to burn TTar only for Lum to cure the burn and TTar takes out Ninetales. Secondly, it helps against Jellicent, who tries to burn TTar only to be ghost-busted. By removing Jellicent, Forretress can more reliably spin hazards that would be particularly damaging to Gyarados. Focus Punch / Superpower is there to prevent Skarmory, Ferrothorn, Tyranitar, or Lucario from setting up on Tyranitar, although Fire Blast is also good to catch Scizor, Breloom, Skarmory, and Forretress, with the expense of not being able to hurt TTar / Terrakion (it 2HKOs Skarmory despite being Adamant). Your current team has little answer to status move, so Lum on TTar would somewhat mitigate this.
Also, your team has little answer to Rotom-W. I second AB2's suggestion of fitting a Celebi. I prefer replacing Gengar, though, since I feel that losing Haxorus may take out too much from your team's offense. Celebi provides awesome resistance to Water moves, which is necessary on a Sand team when combating opposing Rain teams.

Celebi @ Leftovers | Natural Cure
Modest | 252 HP / 104 SpA / 120 SpD / 32 Spe
Giga Drain | Hidden Power Fire | Nasty Plot | Baton Pass / Thunder Wave

Just enough SpA to 2HKO the standard TTar and Ferrothorn with +2 Giga Drain and +0 HP Fire, respectively; also an OHKO on CB Scizor after Rocks. Rest of the EVs went into its special bulk. Baton Pass allows it to escape from TTar or Scizor's Pursuit, whereas Thunder Wave is a useful crippling move to catch Volcarona / dragons off-guard.
Since I removed Stealth Rock on your Tyranitar, fit it on one of Foretress's Spikes.

I also think Haxorus would make more use of its offense (and useful overall) if it goes Scarfed. A Scarf Haxorus would provide you much needed revenge-killing utility against the likes of DDNite, DDGyarados, Virizion, Latios, Terrakion, etc.

I second Gyarados needing a bulkier set to better combat Volcarona for the team. I also find Double-Edge to be useful to 2HKO Scarf Rotom-W that pesters this team. I would give Gyarados enough Speed to outrun Modest Heatran.

Gyarados @ Leftovers | Intimidate
Adamant | 224 HP / 60 Atk / 224 Spe
Waterfall / Dragon Dance / Stone Edge / Double-Edge

Summary:
~ Tyranitar - use a more offensive Lum set.
~ NP Celebi > Gengar to protect you from Rain teams
~ Give SR to Forretress over one of the Spikes
~ Scarf Haxorus for a great cleaner option against Rain and HO teams.
~ A bulkier DD Gyara set with Double-Edge to remove 2HKO Rotom-W

Thanks for the rates guys :) Yeh this was starting to fuck up real bad so I'm in the middle of building a new team the now and hopefully it'll be up soon and be a lot better than this one :) This team was just like a tester tbh :L
