National Dex Monotype Shark week (Swords dance Mega Garchomp) (Ground) (QC 2/2) (GP 0/1)

[SET]
Garchomp-Mega @ Garchompite
Name: Swords Dance (Ground)
Ability: Sand Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

- Scale Shot
- Fire Fang

[SET COMMENTS]

Mega Garchomp's sky-high Attack and oppressive STAB moves make it a dangerous wallbreaker that can tear through defensive Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye. Scale Shot gives Mega Garchomp the opportunity to boost its mediocre Speed and outrun would-be revenge killers such as Mega Lopunny and Choice Specs Greninja while obliterating opposing Dragon-types like Latios and Dragonite. Fire Fang targets Pokemon like Corviknight and Celesteela that wall Garchomp's STAB combination and can also OHKO Ferrothorn after a Swords Dance. It should also be noted that Garchomp can benefit from not Mega Evolving immediately, since the base forme's higher Speed lets it outrun threats like Kyurem, Urshifu-R, and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele after a Scale Shot. With the chip damage from the Stealth Rock and sand that Hippowdon sets up, Mega Garchomp, after a Swords Dance boost, can use a Sand Force-enhanced Earthquake to take out neutral targets like Mega Venusaur and Mega Scizor. Excadrill provides speed control with Sand Rush and removes Ice- and Fairy types like Enamorus and Weavile, clearing the way for Mega Garchomp to remove walls like Slowbro and Celesteela that check Excadrill. Landorus is another good partner because it complements Mega Garchomp's physical strength with its powerful special attacks, which let it remove threats like Kyurem and Tapu Bulu with Focus Blast and Sludge Wave. Both Landorus formes also crucially provide Gravity, allowing Garchomp to temporarily ignore Ground immunities and fire off its deadly Earthquakes. Mamoswine threatens weakened Flying- and Dragon-types like Choice Scarf Enamorus and Latios with Ice Shard while being able to switch into Ice-type attacks directed at Garchomp, as it resists them due to Thick Fat. Finally, Clodsire provides Garchomp with a reliable Fairy resistance and Water-immune partner that packs Haze for setup sweepers like Volcarona and Kommo-o.

- Put Choice Specs infront of greninja where you mentioned it in the Scale Shot sentence.
- For the Fire Fangs sentence, you dont need to mention all the steel birds, just mention one and keep the ferrothorn part the same.
- Order the sentences correctly, put the Fire Fang sentence before the Scale Shot one, so it matches the set order.

"With Hippowdon's help Sand Force boosted Earthquake can take out neutral targets like Mega Venusaur, Mega Scizor, and Slowbro after chip from the Stealth Rock and Sand it sets."
- maybe reword this because the way how im looking at it, this is telling me it just deletes them without a SD boost which is not the case. Also just mention it dealing with m venu because, for scizor your just clicking Fire Fang and for Slowbro it runs HDB unless you put non-Heavy-Duty Boots infront of Slowbro, so in reality Just do something like: Since Hippowdon sets up Sand for Mega Garchomp, after a boost Sand Force boosted Earthquake can take out neutral targets like Mega Venusaur and non-Heavy-Duty Boots Slowbro after minimal damage.

- Mention some ice and fairy types excadrill is dealing with for M Chomp.
- Lando-I sentence, change compliment to complement. the one with the i basically means that Lando is saying "hey garchomp you look really cute with that shirt on," where as the one with the e means to complete or enhances something else.
- Remove dozo and buzzwhole since its a low roll to 2hko and it just 2hko us with waterfall and your not actively running psychic on Lando to deal with buzzwhole (even tho sludge wave 2hkos it.) instead you can mention threats like Tapu Bulu, Tapu Lele, and Kyurem with Sludge wave and Focus Blast.

Mamoswine threatens weakened fast Flying and Dragon types like Choice Scarf Enamorus and Latios with Ice Shard while resisting Ice attacks directed at Garchomp due to Thick Fat with it's Thick Fat ability. It should also be noted that Garchomp can benefit from not Mega Evolving immediately since the base form's higher speed lets it outrun threats like Kyurem, Urshifu and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele after a Scale Shot.

- Lastly add in Clodsire as a teammate, Fairy resist while providing water immunity, M Chomp still dislikes water.

Will take a look after these implements, ty

Mega Garchomp's skyhigh attack and oppressive STAB moves make it a dangerous wallbreaker that can tear through bulky Water and Dragon teams (With fire fang in tow, I fear its not only Water and Dragon, it could be nice to mention how it bruteforces certain phys walls instead of types tho). Scale shot gives Mega Garchomp the opportunity to boost it's mediocre speed and outrun would be revenge killers such as Mega Lopunny, and Choice Specs Greninja while obliterating opposing Dragons like Latios and Dragonite. (Actually, since Kyu was mentioned later, you can even mention that this guy can delay his mega to force that out and such) Fire Fang targets pokemon like Corviknight that wall Garchomp's STAB as well as OHKOing Ferrothorn after a Swords Dance. Want to put "trade" with Ice types instead?). Finally Clodsire provides Garchomp a reliable Fairy resistance and Water immunity while packing Haze for set up sweepers like Volcarona and Kommo-o. It should also be noted that Garchomp can benefit from not Mega Evolving immediately since the base form's higher speed lets it outrun threats like Kyurem, Urshifu and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele after a Scale Shot. I kept the mamo section the same since it actually has decent bulk, it can switch into most ice types attacks and live if rocks aren't up (Meowscarada taxel, Weav Icicle Crash, and Specs Greninja Ice beam for example)
