ORAS OU Sharp: Do not touch(ORAS OU Haxorus) Peaked >1500

Introduction
So this is my second RMT on Smogon. I like to make teams around non-OU mons because it lets me explore uncommon movesets and is generally really enjoying to do. This time, I decided to center a team around Haxorus. Haxorus's gigantic base attack means that after a single DDance it can decimate teams. given a good core he can obtain the offensive pressure required to set up and sweep. Without further ado, except the teambuilding process, here is the team!

I wanted to start with this core, which seemed pretty solid. Scizor walls many of Haxorus's threats, providing a very solid resistance to Azumarill, Weavile and friends. This lets the big guy sweep unobstructed.

One mon that Scizor can't do anything against is Talonflame. One mon Talonflame can't do anything against is Tyranitar. So yeah. I went with a DDance variant because it's less common and people will generally not have a counter to it.

The team was very weak to burns and even Lum Berries on TTar and Haxorus didn't help. Thus Conkeldurr. He also gave a very handy check to Mega Lopunny, which TTar didn't like very much.

I then added Scarf Victini and all-out attacker Starmie, because the team desperately needed speed. Starmie checked Keldeo which I was hating quite a bit atm and Victini checked opposing Scizor and Ferro's and provided a late-game cleaner that I've found to be very reliable.

The Team

haxorus.gif

Cho'gath (Haxorus) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Poison Jab

Haxorus, the star of the team, can destroy unprepared enemies. I use him mostly as a lategame sweeper alongside Victini, but if I get the DDance opportunity early I'll use it. Outrage over Claw because the power of Outrage is irresistible. Jab lets me check Azumarill because Haxorus resists Aqua Jet. Earthquake is Earthquake and I can hits Rotom-W with it due to Mold Breaker.

scizor-mega.gif

Technicolour (Scizor-Mega) @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bug Bite
- Superpower
- Bullet Punch

Scizor-Mega has grown to be possibly my favorite mega. It's my main WC in most games and hits insanely hard. Not much resists its moves and I get plenty of Swords Dance opportunities. I usually start setting up with him early game to attempt a sweep or dent the opposing team, after Fire types are eliminated.

conkeldurr.gif

Conk (Conkeldurr) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 112 Def / 120 SpD / 24 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Poison Jab

I love this guy's name. My Rotom-W check and general WoW and Toxic eater. Guts is my guardian angel, and once it's triggered, Conkel can force out many mons and dent teams noticeably. He stays in for a long time and nose(ha!) how to deal with many threats that my team struggles with.

tyranitar.gif

Rex (Tyranitar) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch

Massive bulk, only augmented by Sand Stream, makes Tyranitar an extremely reliable Pokemon to fall back on. Talonflame? Check. Dragonite? Check. Charizard? Check. Stone Edge over Rock Slide because Victini's ability makes it a lot more accurate and the damage is enormous. I use him as a switch in to Talonflame and a general tank.

starmie.gif

Twinkle (Starmie) @ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt

Starmie is a blazing fast Pokemon that I've found to be insanely powerful. Hydro Pump over Surf because of Victini. Its moves give it wonderful coverage that is scarcely resisted or even hit neutrally by. I use it as my lead most of the time because it checks other common leads such as Heatran and Lando.

victini.gif

Blaze (Victini) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- Bolt Strike
- U-turn
- Zen Headbutt

Victini after countless testing, is probably my team's MVP. Scarfed, it can outspeed the metagame and nuke with V-create. I mostly play him as a pivot and cleaner, as well as a revenge killer.

hi! nice try at building an offensive team, here i have a couple of suggestions for you.

first of all i think you should change your m-scizor set. You chose megazor because it is able to check many problematic offensive threats to haxorus, however you went for the offensive SD set; this set is awesome for luring things like tran or rotom, but it is easily worn down by constant switch-ins and therefore is not so reliable as a pivot. To fix these problems you could just go for the bulky SD variant, as the pokemon that you could beat with the offensive one are not so problematic and with this change you earn a really reliable check to fast fairies like garde, diancie or mega altaria which would tear your team apart otherwise and a good switch-in to mega lopunny, azumarill, weavile and many others.
The second change i suggest is about tyranitar. The ddance variant is more useful with megatar, but you chose tyranitar to support haxorus just like scizor, also you lack stealth rock on this team which is mandatory on every team, especially on an offensive one. I think you should change the set to a more defensive one which will allow you to check things more easily and would provide your team with sr and pursuit support, which is always helpful to trap psychics, ghosts and other things which are forced out by ttar. Also it makes a nice lure to landot with ice beam which would otherwise hinder your haxorus sweep.
Then, i don't think your team really needs conk. Burns are a problem of course, like for every offensive team, but you have ways to play around them with lum haxorus and smart victini switch-ins. Furthermore keldeo is a huge pain in the ass, so my suggestion: azumarill. Azu gives you an incredible amount of utility: dark and fight resist, strong priority and lures ferrothorn which is quite a problem for you.
lastly about starmie, you could keep it or replace it with a similar pokemon with similar tasks: latias. If you decide to keep you definitely have to replace one move with rapid spin, because that's starmie's main role and your team really needs it as you are quite spikes weak. Latias is a good alternative, it has better bulk and access to healing wish which could be very helpful in late game situation giving your sweepers a second chance, however it has less offensive presence and is more easily wallable and pursuitable.

scizor-mega.gif

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 44 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Roost

spread is to avoid 2HKO from jolly mega lopunny and mega gardevoir's focus blast, along with many other things. knock off is the chosen coverage but you can try superpower or bug bite if you feel like.

tyranitar.gif

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Ice Beam

spread is to avoid 2HKO by +1 mega zard x dragon claw while maximizing sdef.
Pursuit is helpful, even if it is not vital for your team, so you can decide to go with crunch for more power. Chople berry is an option over leftovers, especially against things like focus blast char-y, gengar and alakazam.

starmie.gif

the set is the same but you have to put rapid spin. STABs are needed, while for the last slot you can choose something among ice beam, thunderbolt or hp fire as you like.

alternative to starmie:
latias.gif

Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Healing Wish

conkeldurr.gif
----->
azumarill.gif

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower

standard spread for av azu, you can run some speed if you want to outpace other azus. superpower beats ferro which is painful for you otherwise.

that's all i have, hope i was helpful :)
