SharpAlge Core (Peak #1)

Intro: Hey guys :] This is my second RMT, and this time in RU! I had very fast success with this team as soon as I started using it. The main point of the team is to break down walls with Dragalge and Sharpedo then sweep with Fletchinder or Cresselia. Please enjoy and feel free to leave suggestions.

The Team:

Sharknado (Sharpedo) @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Earthquake

Sharpedo is one of the main wall breakers on the team, and it does it's job well. Sharpedo has a lot of potential to punch holes in teams or even sweep. With all of the Fake Out users in the tier, it can avoid by using a protect and then outspeed next turn. STAB Waterfall and Crunch does a ton of damage to a lot of the tier and some people don't expect Earthquake, which allows Sharpedo to 2HKO Cobalion.

Mystery (Dragalge) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 192 HP / 252 SpA / 64 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Sludge Wave
- Hidden Power [Fire]

With the Adaptability buff Dragalge got in ORAS, it is now a complete monster. With a modest nature and max special attack, it can OHKO extremely defensive pokemon such as Alomomola. If you can manage to double switch into Dragalge and get off a free hit, something is probably going to be 2HKOd (lets not include Registeel, etc :p) Dragalge was very fun to use, and it was one of the stars of the team.

Doorknob (Registeel) @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Toxic

Registeel is a great check to most of the special attackers in the tier, such as Meloetta, Exploud, and even Mega Pidgeot. It is also the Stealth Rock user on the team and has double status to put a stop to sweepers and whittle down bulkier and stallier teams. Registeel is also the Fletchinder check on the team, which is very important to have.

Beyblade (Hitmontop) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Close Combat
- Sucker Punch
- Toxic
- Rapid Spin

Hitmontop acts as a "check" to Mega Lopunny and some of the strong physical attackers in the tier. Along with Intimidate and Max HP + Max Defense it can switch in on most physical attackers and wear them down with Toxic. This is also the Rapid Spinner on the team, which is essential to have since we have a 4x weak Fletchinder.

Not Talonflame (Fletchinder)
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 152 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 100 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost

Fletchinder has become much more viable (as if it wasn't already) with the addition of some of the megas (Mega Lopunny and Mega Sceptile). Fletchinder comes in on almost all fighting types in the tier and easily OHKOs, making it a strong revenge killer as well. It is also commonly my win condition. With 100 speed EVs, you speed creep past the usual Fletchinder to outspeed and not have you sweep come to a halt.

annoying af (Cresselia) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Spe
Bold Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Moonlight

Last on the team is the second sweeper, Cresselia. Sub CM Cresselia sets up on a good portion of the tier and is often a win condition like Fletchinder. Cresselia is the only Pokemon on the team who can switch into Mega Camerupt relatively safely and Moonlight stall out of Fire Blast PP. The name speaks for itself as it is extremely annoying to kill, hence the reason I chose it. :]

Importable Version:

Sharknado (Sharpedo) @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Earthquake

Mystery (Dragalge) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 192 HP / 252 SpA / 64 Spe
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Sludge Wave
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Doorknob (Registeel) @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Toxic

Beyblade (Hitmontop) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Close Combat
- Sucker Punch
- Toxic
- Rapid Spin

Not Talonflame (Fletchinder)
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 152 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 100 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost

annoying af (Cresselia) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 Spe
Bold Nature
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Moonlight

Conclusion: I hope you guys enjoyed my RMT. Feel free to leave suggestions and comments. Have fun using the team and be expecting more in the future. :]

Put the importable in a spoiler nub Your Cresselia has sub+even HP. Now the world is a better place

hi dundies your look like a very solid team and i really struggle to point out weaknesses bar maybe to some opposing CM Psychic types and Life Orb Shiftry which can be played around anyway but I have a couple of suggestions and tweaks for it. First of all you should use Foresight over Toxic or Sucker Punch on Hitmontop. With your current set Hitmontop is just unable to break through Ghost-types for a Rapid Spin and Sucker Punch is really weak against everything anyways. However you have little priority in your team so you might want to keep it :/
Secondly your Registeel check with double status is not that effective and I suggest you to replace thunder wave with either Protect, for Leftovers, scouting, Toxic stalling (and avoiding HJK) or Iron Head to at least bother Ghost types. My other idea is to change Hidden Power Fire on Dragalge with Focus Blast. Escavalier is not really that big of a threat to your team as you have strong checks to it in Fletchinder, Hitmontop and Registeel and Focus Blast helps you 2HKO Registeel for Cresselia (who can't touch it at all even at +6 if it wasn't Knocked Off) while doing the same or more than HP fire against everything else.
My final suggestions can be considered a matter of preference but you should probablt consider using Mega Sharpedo over your current one because if, as you said, it is used mostly as a wallbreaker the Mega version is just simply superior. I'd also like you to think about Aqua Jet in its moveslot too because your team would like a bit more priority and it also helps with offense matchup allowing you to beat teams that rely on Fletchinder to check Sharpedo with a lot of ease.

Hey galbia :]. I'll try Hitmontop with Foresight and Mega Sharpedo over LO Sharpedo. Thank you for the suggestions.
