[OVERVIEW]
A high Attack stat and the combination of Sheer Force, Life Orb, and STAB Liquidation make Kingler one of the most powerful wallbreakers in PU without needing a boost. This makes it an ideal user of Agility, allowing Kingler to function as a wallbreaker or cleaner depending on what the matchup requires. Its high Defense is a bonus, as it can be difficult for physical attackers such as Archeops and Choice Scarf Passimian to effectively revenge kill Kingler after it obtains a KO or prevent it from setting up. However, Kingler's Special Defense is extremely low and it hits at an awkward Speed tier, meaning that, if it cannot set up with Agility, it is easily revenge killed by special attackers such as Mesprit and Rotom. As PU has many common Water immunities, including Heliolisk, Toxicroak, and Vaporeon, this can force Kingler into frequent guessing games on whether to use Liquidation or its much weaker coverage options. Furthermore, Kingler struggles to fit all the coverage it needs to hit Water-resistant and -immune Pokemon, forcing it into awkward tradeoffs in the teambuilder. Finally, Kingler faces competition from Basculin, which has higher Speed and access to Flip Turn and Aqua Jet,(AC) and Omastar, which has more resistances and the ability to boost both offensive stats and Speed with Shell Smash.

[SET COMMENTS]
After an Agility, Kingler is able to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame and most Choice Scarf users, outspeeding Choice Scarf Togedemaru after a boost even if Kingler's running an Adamant nature. Jolly nature can be run to outspeed Pokemon such as Jolly Tsareena and Modest Vanilluxe before an Agility and the rare Choice Scarf Heliolisk after an Agility, but in general Adamant is preferred for the higher damage output. Body Slam provides solid neutral coverage that covers nearly every Water-immune and -resistant Pokemon in PU,(AC) which makes it Kingler's safest all-around option, albeit weaker and less specialized than other coverage moves. Superpower covers Guzzlord and Arctovish while being Kingler's strongest way to hit a few other Pokemon like Vaporeon and Virizion. High Horsepower covers Toxicroak and Lanturn better and doesn't decrease Kingler's Attack, but it isn't useful for covering Grass-types. Knock Off is Kingler's best way to hit Jellicent while also being able to cripple item-reliant counters such as Tangela. Swords Dance allows Kingler to break through the few walls that can tank its unboosted hits, such as Vaporeon, but it forces Kingler to give up a coverage slot. Since bulky Water-types like Vaporeon and Jellicent are something Kingler struggles greatly against, Pokemon that can handle these such as Heliolisk and Virizion make for good teammates. Heliolisk also has the benefit of luring Pokemon such as Gigalith and Claydol in, which Kingler can use as a chance to set up. Spikes and Toxic Spikes from partners such as Alolan Sandslash and Garbodor can help soften up counters like Vaporeon and Druddigon.

[OVERVIEW]
A high Attack stat and the combination of Sheer Force, Life Orb, and STAB Liquidation makes Kingler a decent wallbreaker in PU. With access to both Agility and Swords Dance, Kingler is also able to serve as a setup sweeper. It high Defense is a bonus for Kingler, as it stops Pokemon such as Archeops and Choice Scarf Passimian from being able to revenge kill it at full health and helps it set up. However, Kingler's Special Defense is very low, leaving it susceptible to even neutral hits. Kingler also hits at an awkward Speed tier, meaning if it doesn't get an Agility up it is easily revenge killed by Pokemon such as Timid Vanilluxe Rotom formes and Mesprit. Despite the high power of Liquidation, the high amount of Water immunities in the tier such as Vaporeon, Toxicroak, and Heliolisk leaves it not as spammable as it would like can phrase this better. Furthermore, Kingler struggles to fit all the coverage it needs for these immunities, many of which aren't even boosted by Sheer Force. i think recoil is better for set comments

After an Agility Kingler is able to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame. Superpower hits various Pokemon that resist or are immune to Liquidation for super effective damage such as Heliolisk, Guzzlord, and Arctovish while being Kingler's best way to hit certain other Pokemon such as Vaporeon and Virizion. High Horsepower also hits Heliolisk, as well as Toxicroak and Lanturn, without the stat drops of Superpower this reads kinda awkwardly. Body Slam provides solid neutral coverage that hits all the previously, although is not always the most dependable for picking up KOes what does it miss out on?. Knock Off hits Jellicent while also being able to cripple certain switchins such as Tangela. smth on how knock/superpower give recoil damage Swords Dance allows Kingler to run a double dance set, but forces Kingler to give up a coverage slot, leaving it always walled by something. what can SD help break past? is SD better with certain coverage moves? maybe mention how it fits on cheese better An Adamant nature is preferred for the higher damage output as you still outspeed Choice Scarf Togedemaru after an Agility, although Jolly nature can be run to outspeed Pokemon such as Jolly Tsareena and Modest Vanilluxe before an Agility and the rare Choice Scarf Heliolisk after an Agility this can prob be split into two sentences to sound smoother. A mixed set with Ice Beam alongside a Naughty or Naive nature can be run to better handle certain Grass-types such as Alolan Exeggutor and Tangela, although it achieves little outside of that. The best time for Kingler to set up is late game, in which all the previously mentioned threats have been KOed or greatly weakened. However, it can also be used throughout the game to break through walls such as Palossand and Regirock. mention spike users that can soften teams for kingler

[OVERVIEW]
A high Attack stat and the combination of Sheer Force, Life Orb, and STAB Liquidation makes Kingler one of the most powerful wallbreakers in PU. Add Agility and Kingler can effectively serve as a wallbreaker or a sweeper depending on what the matchup requires(feel like this part could be merged w the first sentence). Its high Defense is a bonus for Kingler, as it can be difficult for physical attackers such as Archeops or Choice Scarf Passimian to effectively revenge kill Kingler after it obtains a KO or prevent Kingler from setting up. However, Kingler's Special Defense is extremely low, leaving it susceptible to every special attacker in the tier. Kingler also hits at an awkward Speed tier, meaning if it cannot set up Agility it is easily revenge killed even by somewhat slower special attackers such as Mesprit and Rotom. (again, this should be merged w the previous sentence, u're kinda just repeating the same info but making it longer) Kingler sports decent coverage but Liquidation is by far its most powerful move. As PU has many common Water immunities, including Heliolisk, Toxicroak, and Vaporeon, this can force Kingler into frequent predictions. Furthermore, Kingler struggles to fit all the coverage it needs to hit these Pokemon and effectively cover Grass- and Dragon-types. (it doesnt rlly need that much for them, body slam / koff already nuke them) Finally, Kingler faces competition from Basculin's higher Speed and access to Flip Turn and Aqua Jet and Omastar's superior resists and ability to boost both damage and Speed with Shell Smash.

nature: Adamant / Jolly

After an Agility Kingler is able to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame. (could give examples of scarfers it outspeeds) Superpower hits various Pokemon that resist or are immune to Liquidation for super effective damage such as Heliolisk, Guzzlord, and Arctovish while being Kingler's best way to hit certain other Pokemon such as Vaporeon and Virizion. High Horsepower better covers Toxicroak and Lanturn and doesn't drop Kingler's attack but isn't useful for covering Grass-types. Body Slam provides solid neutral coverage that covers nearly every Water immunity and resist in PU but requires more chip damage to achieve KOs with. Knock Off is Kingler's best way to hit Jellicent while also being able to cripple item-reliant counters such as Tangela. Swords Dance allows Kingler to break through the few walls that can tank its unboosted hits, such as Vaporeon, but forces Kingler to give up a coverage slot. An Adamant nature is preferred for the higher damage output as you still outspeed Choice Scarf Togedemaru after an Agility, although Jolly nature can be run to outspeed Pokemon such as Jolly Tsareena and Modest Vanilluxe before an Agility and the rare Choice Scarf Heliolisk after an Agility. A mixed set with Ice Beam alongside a Naughty or Naive nature can be run to better handle certain Grass-types such as Alolan Exeggutor and Tangela, although it achieves little outside of that. (tangela isnt common enough, while u still nuke alolan eggy w ur other moves that are always gonna be more useful than ice beam) Since bulky Water-types like Vaporeon and Jellicent are something Kingler struggles greatly against, Pokemon that can handle these such as Heliolisk and Virizion make for good teammates. Heliolisk also has the benefit of luring Pokemon such as Gigalith and Claydol in, which Kingler can use as a chance to set up. The best time for Kingler to set up is late game, in which all the previously mentioned threats have been KOed or greatly weakened. However, it can also be used throughout the game to break through walls such as Palossand and Regirock. (especially if it's carrying swords dance) Spikes and Toxic Spikes from partners such as Alolan Sandslash and Garbodor can help soften up counters like Vaporeon and Druddigon.
