[SET COMMENTS]
Shiinotic is a great physical wall due to its unique typing and moveset letting it check a number of threats like Sawk, Thwackey, Malamar, and Appletun. Spore can put switch-ins like Silvally-Poison and Ninetales out of commission, and the move itself forces many switches. The last moveslot can be dedicated to either Toxic, which punishes Pokemon that are immune to Spore like Tangela and Eldegoss and puts foes on a timer, or Giga Drain, which makes Shiinotic more reliable at dealing with Ground- and Water-types, such as Rhydon and Wishiwashi. No item is run to avoid Poltergeist from Gourgeist and Trevenant; however, Rocky Helmet can be used to punish Pokemon that use contact moves such as Cincinno and Silvally-Fighting.

Slower wallbreakers, like Thievul, Perrserker, and Swords Dance Rhydon, that are weak to common fast Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Sawk and Thwackey really appreciate Shiinotic's ability to answer them and create opportunities for them to wallbreak with Spore and Effect Spore. Popular Ground-types and Water-types such as Stunfisk and Wishiwashi easily fold to threats handled by Shiinotic like Appletun, Morpeko, and Basculin. In return, they answer Poison- and Flying-types like Skuntank and Unfezant and Steel- and Fire-types like Klinklang and Ninetales, respectively, that Shiinotic is weak to. Offensive teammates like Rotom and Jynx as well as defensive options like Rhydon and Hattrem greatly appreciate Shiinotic's ability to absorb Knock Off. Setup sweepers like Frosmoth and various Silvally formes also get an immense advantage out of the free turns provided by Spore, and enjoy walls getting crippled by a surprise Toxic.

Choice Specs sets can surprise opponents expecting the standard set, and have decent breaking power. However, they lose out on most of what makes Shiinotic effective and are usually outclassed by other options such as Exeggutor and Appletun.

Checks and Counters:
===================

**Poison-types**: Poison-types like Silvally-Poison, Qwilfish, and Ivysaur are immune to Toxic, resist Moonblast, and threaten to OHKO Shiinotic.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types are immune to Toxic, resist Shiinotic's STAB moves, and hit it super effectively. Most of them also have other ways to abuse it, like Substitute + Toxic Alolan Dugtrio or Klinklang's Clear Body, which denies Strength Sap.

**Ice-types**: Ice-types such as Abomasnow and Frosmoth threaten Shiinotic with their strong, super effective STAB attacks and do not grant much recovery if Strength Sap is used against them. Most of them also have ways to prevent or alleviate the status Shiinotic inflicts.

**Super Effective Coverage**: Shiinotic needs to be wary of foes running super effective coverage for it, like Iron Head Silvally-Dark, Ice Beam Basculin, and Sludge Bomb Tangela.

**Strong Attackers**: Some powerful breakers whose STAB moves are not resisted by Shiinotic, like Choice Banded Lycanroc, Choice Specs Exeggutor, and Choice Specs Rotom, can brute-force their way through it.

Shiinotic acts as a physical wall in the metagame due to its unique typing and moveset letting it check number of threats like Sawk, Thwackey, and Morpeko. Strength Sap is an effective way of recovery while fluff Spore can put a switchins like ... out of commission and force switches. Moonblast acts as the main stab and the primary way to threaten Fighting-types and Dark-types. fluff The last moveslot can either be dedicated to Giga Drain, which makes Shiinotic more reliable at dealing with Ground-types and Water-types, most notably such as Rhydon and Wishiwashi, or it can be dedicated to Toxic which is useful for breaking down walls punishes Spore immunities like Sap Sipper Miltank and Eldegoss as well as putting puts threats on a timer. Reorder sentences, Toxic is the primary slash. Something to keep in mind is that Toxic can also bait Grass-types such as Tangela, that switch in expecting Spore. Shiinotic's previously stated unique typing allows it to have a niche over similar physical walls as it checks a different range of offensive pokemon, or checks them better than its counterparts. Examples of such offensive pokemon are Sawk, Thwackey, Thievul, Flapple, Appletun, Morpeko, Shiftry, Basculin, Lurantis and Malamar. I moved this to the first line. Don't list more than 4 examples, 3 is often the best. While its defensive prowess is augmented by Effect Spore and a potential Rocky Helmet, its mediocre 60/80 physical bulk mandates full physical defensive investment. Something worth noting is that Shiinotic can also not run an item to be a consistent answer to Choice Banded Gourgeist and Trevenant as well. The wording of these last two sentences is a bit messy. No Item is the primary set. Rocky Helmet is the option over it which pairs well with Effect Spore at punishing contact moves.

Slower breakers that are weak to common forms of speed Speed control such as Choice Scarf Sawk and ... , like Thievul, Perrserker, or and Swords Dance Rhydon really appreciate Shiinotic's ability to answer them and create opportunities with Spore and Effect Spore potentially punish the contact moves of said speed control. Paralysing, putting to sleep or chipping down a Scarf Sawk for example could be vital to a sweep. Similarly, passive pokemon also pair well with it to handle a weakness to certain breakers. Popular Ground-types and Water-types such as ... can easily fold to threats handled by Shiinotic like ... (only chose a couple of those, not lurantis though it is quite irrelevant) breakers like Appletun, Morpeko and Basculin or bulky setup sweepers like Lurantis and Malamar. Shiinotic in turn, is vulnerable to In return, they can answer Poison- and Flying-types like Stunfisk and ... and Steel- and Fire-types like Qwilfish and ... , respectively, that Shiinotic is weak to. and to a lesser extent, Fire-types and Flying-types. It therefore pairs well with defensive staples like Stunfisk and Qwilfish. Setup sweepers like Frosmoth and various Silvally forms also get an immense advantage out of the free turns provided by Spore, or walls being crippled by a surprise Toxic. Examples of these are a Perrserker or Rapidash getting spored trying to answer Shiinotic, significantly aiding Frosmoth, or a Tangela getting poisoned attempting to keep teammates safe from Spore, making the work of a Silvally-Dark easier.

Mention Choice Specs Shitnotic.

Checks and Counters:
===================

**
Poison-types**: These are obviously quite dangerous as Shiinotic has a quadruple weakness to poison. While most of the Poison-types can be spored on switchin, this is not a consistent strategy. Not only can the opponent play around its multiple status moves, but if something was previously spored they can no longer be meaningfully threatened. A pokemon that stands out here is Ivysaur on sun, as Shiinotic entirely gives it free reign. Try to shorten this up. This is more a checklist of what Shiinotic is weak to than an analysis of the matchup. Something like: "Poison-types like Silvally-Poison, Qwilfish, and Ivysaur resists Shiinotic's move, are immune to Toxic, and can OHKO it with their super effective move." is completely fine.

**
Steel-types**: Similar to Poison-types, the only way to make meaningful progress against Steel-types is putting them to sleep. Apart from Galarian Stunfisk, all the relevant Steel-types are very dangerous. Perrserker and Klinklang threaten an ohko, and the former can gain momentum against you while the latter can run resttalk. Although Life Orb Dugtrio doesn't ohko even after rocks, subtox sets can use it as an entry point to cause havoc on a predicted Spore or Strength Sap. Same critic as the previous point.

Tangela: Regenerator will hamper any progress Shiinotic can make with Toxic or Moonblast while Sludge Bomb from Tangela threatens to ohko after rocks. This is particularly effective when it is paired with a team member that doesn't mind Moonblast or Toxic, such as the aforementioned Steel- and Poison-types, making the Shiinotic user is now prone to punishing 50/50's. Same critic as the previous point, but makes this **Super Effective Coverage moves** This will also gather Pokemon like Thievul, Silvally-Dark, Shiftry, etc..

**Fire-types**

**Ice-types**

**Strong attackers**

A lot of the strik-through is to shorten the analysis, because it sometimes get too specific. Try to incorporate examples directly and not use a full sentence for them, also avoid repeating yourself (within a same set). You forgot a whole section and a lot of things in Checks and Counters.

Shiinotic acts as a physical wall in the metagame due to its unique typing and moveset letting it check number of threats like Sawk, Thwackey, Malamar,(AC) and Appletun. Spore can put switch-(AH)ins like Silvally-Poison and Ninetales out of commission and force switches. The last moveslot can either be dedicated to Toxic which punishes Spore immunities like Sap Sipper Miltank (Doesn't really punish Heal Bell variants so I'd be inclined to say choose another mon here) and Eldegoss as well as puts threats on a timer, or it can be dedicated to Giga Drain, which makes Shiinotic more reliable at dealing with Ground-types and Water-types, such as Rhydon and Wishiwashi. Not running an item means that it is also a consistent answer to Choice Banded Gourgeist and Trevenant, while Rocky Helmet augments its ability to punish Pokemon that use contact moves such as Cinccino and Gurdurr. Its mediocre 60/80 physical bulk however, mandates full physical defensive investment. (no need to explain a simple spread like this)

Slower breakers that are weak to common forms of Speed control such as Choice Scarf Sawk and Thwackey, like Thievul, Perrserker, and Swords Dance Rhydon really appreciate Shiinotic's ability to answer them and create opportunities with Spore and Effect Spore. In return, they can answer Poison- and Flying-types like Skuntank and Unfezant and Steel- and Fire-types like Klinklang and Ninetales, respectively, that Shiinotic is weak to. (Would mention Pokemon that appreciate its ability to switch into Knock Off/Knock Off absorber: offensive mons that are weak to Dark-type attacks like Rotom and Jynx, and more defensive ones like Rhydon and Gurdurr that would prefer keeping their Eviolite) Setup sweepers like Frosmoth and various Silvally formes also get an immense advantage out of the free turns provided by Spore, or walls being crippled by a surprise Toxic.
