Showdown Client/Server IDE

I'm beginning a project to convert the Showdown node.js server implementation to C# ASP.NET. I believe it makes sense for me to use Visual Studio for this project (I'm downloading a node.js tools package from codeplex as I write this) but I'm curious: what IDE do you (current Showdown developers / others with related projects) use to maintain Showdown?
