Are You A Showdown Genius?
Quadrophenic and friends are hosting a Showdown event based on the Korean reality TV show The Genius! A modest cash prize and custom avatar are up for grabs for 15 users who will compete in games that test psychology, social strategy, logical thinking, and cooperation. Only one winner will emerge! In just a few days we got over 300 applicants. Narrowing these down to 15 was a painful process - so many talented, brilliant, capable, and illustrious people applied. In the end, my committee and I decided we wanted two specific things:

1. People largely unfamiliar with Online Reality Games - We wanted everyone to come into the Showdown Genius Invitational with a clean slate, so that no one had an unfair advantage
2. A mix of superstars, rising stars, and up-and-comers - We wanted a diverse bunch in the game. We didn't want all unknowns, or all known users, so a mixture of various users was desirable.

Even with these guidelines, we found choosing 15 final cast members a genuinely difficult process. Please give a like for the cast:

To the cast, an information document will be given in the group PM. Shortly after, an introduction to this game will be posted in this thread. For now, it will remain locked while the Showdown Genius Invitational committee finalizes some things.

We now have a private room to discuss and congregate for the game! It is called SGI Public and all contestants have drivers and committee members have mods. Audience, please do not interfere with the game or you will be punished.
