[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its access to both Sticky Web and Stealth Rock, Shuckle has become the premier entry hazard setter on Rock. Sticky Web allows Shuckle to slow down almost all Pokemon, being especially useful against those that rely on their Speed to be threatening like Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, Spectrier, and Alolan Raichu. It also helps against threats such as Choice Scarf Weavile and Excadrill that can clean Rock-teams late-game. In addition, it improves the matchup against types with poor entry hazard control such as Steel, Ghost, and Fairy. Encore prevents Shuckle from becoming setup fodder by locking foes like Cinderace or Aegislash into a setup move, giving a teammate that is able to deal with them a free switch. Encore can also annoy Defoggers, letting Shuckle's teammates come in safely and setup. Knock Off allows Shuckle to remove items like Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers from foes like Tornadus-T and Landorus-T. Mental Herb prevents foes such as Froslass and Spectrier from taunting Shuckle, ensuring it can set up entry hazards at least once. Custap Berry can be used instead to ensure that Shuckle can set up both Stealth Rock and Sticky Web against strong foes without Taunt. Sturdy allows Shuckle to usually set up entry hazards at least once. Shuckle's EVs make it as physically bulky as possible in order to live Urshifu-R's Surging Strikes.

All of Shuckle's offensive teammates benefit from its Stealth Rock and the speed control it provides. Choice Band Tyranitar loves Shuckle's Sticky Web, as it allows Tyranitar to defeat foes it would otherwise lose against, such as Choice Specs Tapu Lele and Choice Specs Gengar. Barbaracle outspeeds and defeats Sand Rush Choice Band Excadrill and Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan and Weavile when supported with Sticky Web after a Shell Smash, allowing it to clean types such as Ground and Ice. It also becomes harder to revenge kill because Sticky Web slows down grounded Choice Scarf users. Nihilego is another setup sweeper that appreciates the entry hazards Shuckle sets, allowing Nihilego to devastate Water, Flying, Ground, and Fairy. Specifically, Nihilego can defeat Barraskewda, Swampert, and Corviknight with Shuckle's entry hazards in play. Choice Scarf Terrakion checks threats such as Cinderace, Zeraora, Choice Scarf Excadrill, and Choice Scarf Heatran before Sticky Web has been set. It also acts as a strong revenge-killer, as it removes sweepers such as Bisharp, Tyranitar, and Excadrill, improving the Dark and Steel matchups. Rhyperior provides an Electric immunity and pressures types such as Steel due to its ability to threaten Corviknight and Ferrothorn.

Toxic can be run over Knock Off in order to put defensive Pokemon like Slowbro on a timer. Final Gambit can also be run on Shuckle to allow it to set hazards and gain momentum. However, Shuckle can usually generate momentum without Final Gambit, meaning that it often isn't necessary.

- Thanks to its access to both Sticky Web and Stealth Rock, Shuckle has become a quintessential Pokemon on all Rock teams.
- Sticky Web allows Shuckle to slow down almost all Pokemon, being especially useful against those that rely on their speed to be threatening like Spectrier and Tapu Lele. (I think Tapu Lele is kinda odd, especially in a type with Nihilego and Tyranitar, maybe stuff like weather/terrain abusers like Excadrill/Alolan Raichu or scary threats like Choice Scarf Excadrill and Weavile which clean rock late-game would be nicer. Also, setting webs up is a massive help to types like Dragon, Fire, and (non-Azumarill) Fairy, which don't have the best entry hazard control)

- Stealth Rock offers the ability to chip down opposing Pokemon upon switch-in. This is especially effective when used in conjunction with Knock Off, as Knock Off can remove Heavy-Duty Boots from opposing Bug-, Fire-, and Flying-types like Volcarona and Tornadus-T. (Volcarona can't sweep Rock, Torn-T technically can due to Focus Blast, but like surely there's better targets such as removing lefties from Landos, Steel birbs, making it easier for Nihi and friends to break through them. Removing Choice scarf or Choice band from Urshifu-R, or removing Cinderace's Boots [Idt it stays in though, you'd lead tran in this mu I think] seems also cool)

- Encore prevents Shuckle from becoming setup fodder by locking foes like Galarian Moltres and Hydreigon into a set up move, then switching to a teammate that is able to deal with them. (Hydrei/Molt-G feels like odd examples, both are walled by Rocks in general (Hydrei cant click Dark Pulse because Terrakion exists, too). Cinderace, Tapu Bulu, and BU Lando would be nicer I think.)
*Add that it can also lock Defoggers into defogging, letting shuckle's team mates come in safely and setup.

- Mental Herb prevents foes such as Frosslass and Spectrier from taunting Shuckle, ensuring it can setup both entry hazards. (Spectrier is an odd choice because well, it taunts you next turn anyway, tho you do knock off its lefties perhaps. There aren't much taunt users tho past Frosslass, Heatran [is Fire/Steel] and Cobalion [which is Fighting...]. Kommo-o just taunts you next turn then it ID's up for example)
- Sturdy allows Shuckle to guarantee the ability to set up at least one entry hazard.

Paragraph 2:
- All of Shuckle's offensive teammates benefit from its ability to slow most opponents down through Sticky Web and chip them through Stealth Rock.

- Tyranitar is one of the best teammates for Shuckle, as Shuckle's Sticky Web allows Tyranitar to defeat foes it would otherwise lose against, such as Choice Specs Tapu Lele and Choice Specs Gengar. (Name what kind of Ttar is this, I think this is CB, so it probably softens up bulky stuff like Landos, Steel Birbs, Klefki, and Slowbro aside from outspeeding those things for instance. If its DD, then name targets it defeats now thanks to webs [like Zeraora, for instance])

- Barbaracle is an excellent teammate for Shuckle, being able to defeat Sand Rush Excadrill, as well as other foes such as Heatran and Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan. (Barbacle is only 258 speed, CB Sand Rush Exca still outspeeds it even at +2 [Ada exca is 275]. Clarify this tho as it does sweep Ground teams (it has Gknot for Gastro tho I miss Lord Helix's HP Grass but we gotta make do with 54 base SpA), but only if Webs are there. Also say it shell smash. Also say its harder to revenge kill because Webs kinda neutrer most grounded scarfers, with only Scarf Latis/Priority being able to deal with it should it smash)

- Nihilego is an amazing teammate for Shuckle, as it can devastate both Water- and Ground-type teams that Shuckle and its teammates struggle against. Specifically, Nihilego can defeat Barraskewda, Swampert, and Toxapex after they have been affected by Sticky Web. (You dont beat Swampert or Pex due to Sticky Web, though still do say it deals with waters anyway. Also, Nihi is probably your way of sweeping Flying teams, as it heavily dents both Lando and the Steel bird. Also say Ig it sweeps Fairy late-game because apparently its sludgewave in Rock)

- Terrakion is an excellent teammate that can defeat fast foes such as Choice Scarf Hydreigon and Choice Scarf Heatran before Sticky Web has been set. Its typing is also useful in the Dark and Steel matchups, as it can check a plethora of threats ranging from the aforementioned Hydreigon and Heatran to Bisharp, Choice Scarf Excadrill, and Tyranitar. (Does Heatran or Tyranitar even threaten Rock teams? Maybe just state its just a late-game cleaner in general, and Webs makes it impossible to outspeed [even by weather/terrain abusers], unless ur like Scarf Latis)

- Rhyperior is also a good teammate for its ability to defeat foes like Corviknight and Celesteela with the combination of Smack Down and Earthquake. In addition to this, Fire Punch and Earthquake can rip Steel teams immunity core. (Add the Elec immunity being neat too, I've actually spent a bit of time finding what Rhyp outspeeds under webs [I did not find a relevant one, maybe you could?], it would be nice to add those too)

*Add Coalossal, its the Melmetal burner, Rillaboom punisher, Hazard stacker, and can really help in breaking down the annoying steel birb

* Toxic can be run over Knock Off in order to put defensive Pokemon like Slowbro on a timer. However, running Toxic over Knock Off leaves Shuckle vulnerable to Toxic Mantine and Toxic Mandibuzz, both of which can keep at least one hazard off their side of the field. (Shuckle remains vulnerable even if running Knock off, maybe just state that item removal is better than Toxic'ing something?)

- Thanks to its access to both Sticky Web and Stealth Rock, Shuckle has become a quintessential Pokemon the premier hazard setter on all Rock teams. with a type as unexplored as rock putting shuckle as "quintessential" seems wrong, i think shuckle-less rocks are fine and they might even be better if people ever decide to start using the type. i'd say it's the best hazard setter but wouldn't frame it as necessary
- Sticky Web allows Shuckle to slow down almost all Pokemon, being especially useful against those that rely on their Speed to be threatening like Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, Spectrier, and Alolan Raichu, and slows down threats such as Choice Scarf Weavile and Excadrill that can clean Rock-teams late-game. - Stealth Rock in conjunction with Knock Off offers it the ability to wear down opposing Pokemon. It can also remove Leftovers from foes like Tapu Bulu and Landorus-T and key items such as Choice Scarf from Urshifu-R, making it easier for teammates to break through them. imo you don't need a sentence for knock off, and definitely not one this detailed. i think most people get that it's just the best damaging move shuckle has
- Encore prevents Shuckle from becoming setup fodder by locking foes like Cinderace or Aegislash into a set up move, then switching to a teammate that is able to deal with them. Encore can also lock Defoggers into defogging, letting Shuckle's teammates come in safely and setup.
