Other Sigi/Galv/Luca bulky offense.

This is my first foray back into RMT for some time and also the first real team i've started laddering with again in RU since maybe XY. Be cool to get some advice and pointers or suggestions on changes, this team is my no means perfect.


Sigilyph @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Psychic
- Heat Wave
- Roost

The first mon, pretty standard life orb Sigi, have been tempted to switch out psychic for psyshock or run Energy ball over dark pulse. Not sure on the ev's would like to make it a bit bulkier, perhaps advice on a spread allowing to take common hits could be suggested?


Donphan @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard

My favourite Mon is Donphan, always try and fit this little elephant onto every team. Gone with bulky offensive assault vest set. This is my spinner and only real switch in for electric attacks. I find it's a decent pivot, takes hits well and hits hard in return.


Lucario @ Rockium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Extreme Speed

Trying out the lovely Lucario while it's still in RU for some reason. Bullet punch for priority, CC to hit hard and i'm giving Rockium Z Stone Edge a go to catch those annoying fire/flying type switch ins. Also runs extreme speed for extra priority although this 4th spot is open as i'm not sure what to add in there. Would be cool to get some advice on a better spread to take a hit or a good 4th move option.

Galvantula @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Volt Switch
- Energy Ball

Another of my fav mons, scarfed Galvalntula, am thinking of changing it for specs but i'm not sure, i feel it hits hard enough and it's nice to be able to outspeed mons like adamant Aerodactyl or other threats. I also like scarfed cause a lot of galvs are just sticky web these days and it's nice to get the surprise out. I suppose i could also run scarfed sticky web but i'm not sure. Also energy ball might be changed for a Hp of some variety.

Druddigon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Stealth Rock
- Sucker Punch
- Fire Punch

I needed a rocky and Druddigon seemed to fit what i was after. It's quite bulky, with rocky helmet and rough skin it punishes fake out users, not sure what else to say here.


Talonflame @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Will-O-Wisp
- Taunt
- Roost

I felt i needed some sort of support mon and thought why not Talonflame, it's another ground immunity, can get off very fast taunts to deal with set up or stall mons and will-o-wisps to deal with physical attackers that might punish my sweepers and is also a burn immunity. Really not sure about the item here but i wanted something, still sad there's no flying gem this gen. Not sure if this is really that much better than just running an eviolite Fletch though really.

So that's the team, feel free to give all the advice you like i encourage some creative and useful critisism, i know this team isn't perfect or that good, no doubt i'm forgetting about some big threats to account for. I feel i need some sort of grass/water type on the team to deal with opposing bulky/offensive water types, so advice in that department would be grand too.
