[OVERVIEW]
Silvally-Poison is primarily a niche breaker, but can also be a Defogger. Its typing works decently in a tier with prevalent Fairy-, Grass-, and Fighting-types such as Ribombee, Tsareena, and Scrafty, respectively. Silvally-Poison's Toxic immunity makes it a potent threat against passive teams, as it can freely setup on clerics such as Audino and Aromatisse and still have coverage for checks like Togedemaru. Being able to fit Grass Pledge comfortably to counter Quagsire distinguishes it from other Silvally formes. However, Silvally-Poison often is outperformed as a breaker by other Silvally formes with more intimidating offensive typings like Silvally-Ghost and Silvally-Fairy. As a Defogger, Silvally-Poison fits nicely on bulkier teams as a Knock Off and Toxic Spikes absorber; even so, Silvally-Steel and Silvally-Water are generally easier to fit onto teams because they are not as commonly checked by defensive staples like Weezing and Togedemaru.

[SET COMMENTS]
Silvally-Poison fits nicely on bulky offense and balance teams in need of a stallbreaker. It is great at dismantling bulky teams through Work Up. Multi-Attack allows it to muscle through specially defensive Pokemon like Articuno and Audino. Flamethrower nails Steel-types like Togedemaru and Silvally-Steel. Grass Pledge is useful for targeting Quagsire and Palossand. Surf, as an alternative to Grass Pledge, does more damage to Aggron in exchange for not breaking Quagsire. Ferroseed is a good partner for Silvally-Poison by providing Spikes support. They compliment each other defensively as well, as Ferroseed can switch into Psychic-types like Mesprit and Silvally-Poison can switch into Fighting-types like Scrafty. Jellicent is also a solid fit for dealing with opposing Fighting-types and spreading burns for easier setup later. Other partners such as Galvantula and Whimsicott can lure in defensive Pokemon like Audino for Silvally-Poison to set (add space) up on. Charizard benefits from Silvally-Poison tanking Knock Off and pressuring common defensive cores. In return, Charizard offers more immediate power and can wear down shared checks like Gigalith.

move 3: Defog
move 4: U-turn / Parting Shot

nature: Jolly
evs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe
[SET COMMENTS]
Defogger Silvally-Poison checks common Pokemon like Tsareena and makes for decent hazard removal on bulkier teams. The Speed investment allows Silvally-Poison to Defog before Qwilish can Taunt it. Poison-type Multi-Attack pressures common threats like Silvally-Fairy. Flamethrower hits Steel-types like Alolan Sandslash and Ferroseed super effectively. U-turn allows Silvally-Poison to pivot without triggering Competitive Galarian Articuno. Silvally-Poison is worn down fast by entry hazards when removing them, so clerics like Aromatisse and Audino are valuable partners. Tangela and Gourgeist check common Ground-types that Silvally-Poison is vulnerable against such as Sandaconda. Unaware Quagsire nullifies the various setup sweepers in the tier and reciprocally benefits from Silvally-Poison dealing with Grass-types.
