simple, boring and effective.

Salamence @ Life Orb / Leftovers / Wise Glasses / Yache Berry
Nature: Rash / Mild
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 120 Attack, 252 Special Attack, 136 Speed
- Draco Meteor
- Brick Break
- Flamethrower
- Roost / Earthquake

One of the most important members of this team. DM is a great attack. It OHKO's most Hippowdons and Gliscors, and the rest of the attacks give a great coverage. Flamethrower is there for Skarmory, who can be a pain in the ass for this team. Brick Breack is there for Blissey but still i have to switch, because it's not an OHKO on Blissey and Ice beam OHKO's Salamence...

Salamence is very important because of Infernape and other CC users. Sandstorm, Stealth Rock and Life orb kills this give very often so Roost is important. Earthquake is also important, mainly for heatran.

The EVs profide maximum power for Draco Meteor and outspeeding Heracross, wich is needy (is needy a real english word?). Rash instead of Mild so switching in on CC's is a little easier. But when i choose for Earthquake Mild is the prefered choice.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP, 236 Attack, 12 Defense, 8 Speed / 128 HP, 252 Attack, 130 Speed
- Meteor Mash
- Thunderpunch
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake

Good old CBGross, modifeid to this team. The EV-spread lets it survive a CBTrio Earthquake. Meteor mash is just totally hip because the 100BP and a chance of boosting it's attack. Thunderpunch is mainly for gyarados, who would give this team some problems. Bullet Punch is there for the F-sashers and the Pokemon who have less than 15% of HP. Earthquake is again there for Heatrans.

Bronzong @ Chesto Berry
Nature: Bold
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP, 36 Defense, 216 Special Attack, 6 Speed
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Calm Mind
- Rest

What the hell where you thinking?? Well, let me explain this pokemon. The first two pokemon have a liltle problem with Gengar and Garchomp. Thisone is made to counter those two. Lum berry lets it absorb status and give you a free rest. HP ice and psychic are both at least a 2HKO on those two.

Leftovers looks better, but a Chestorest can change the benefid of the battle to me. I even outstalled a Magnezone with it. Steels form a problem to this pokemon, and than Metagross and Magnezone. It can counter any Jirachi except for the Calm Mind version.

Snorlax @ Leftovers / Chesto Berry
Nature: Careful
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 168 HP, 120 Defense, 220 Special Defense
- Earthquake / Pursuit / Thunderpunch
- Return
- Curse
- Rest / Earthquake / Pursuit

Standard Curselax. Thunderpunch can help for Gyarados… But still it doesn’t do anything without a Curse or two. The same is for Skarmory and Suicune. Earthquake can help against Heatran, but EVERY pokemon in my team has earthquake. Pursuit help a lot against switching Gengar or Cresselia.

Leftovers is preferred, because it isn’t immune for Toxic Spikes and often a few chances of switching. Chestorest is to do a lot more curses to keep it from being stopped. The EVs are just standard for CurseLax

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 6 HP, 252 Attack, 252 Speed
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
- Outrage / Dragon Claw

It’s revenge killing ScarfChomp. Alot of people think he’s bad, but it’s the perfect revenge killer for this team. Infernape, Heatran, Heracross and Gyarados, the all get killed. Tyranitar help it to take care of the damn Focus-Sashers. Outrage is really powerful, but it isn’t an attack I use in late-game sweeping. So I decide to switch it for Dragon Claw despite the power drop. It’s a bit more safe for Earthquake switch-ins. Stone edge is for Gyarados and other Flyers. Earthquake is great for Skarmory/Heatran mind games (shame 90% of the players doesn’t predict two steps ahead)Outrage helps me in 4v2 situations.

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Nature: Quiet
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP, 42 Attack, 216 Special Attack / 252 HP, 188 Special Attack, 68 Speed
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Dark Pulse
- Thunderbolt / Earthquake

Great Pokémon. Ice Beam doesn’t help this team alot, so I don’t take it. Thunderbolt helps against Skarmory and Gyarados, Earthquake (guess) against Heatran. Some people prefer 68 speed EVs to outspeed Weezing, but it’s made UU now. Swith that, Bronzong loves to switch in on Weezings, even though Fire Blast.

The first EV-spread is for an OHKO on Gyarados with Thunderbolt, although it needs a sandstorm. The 252 HP EVs are for the 101 subs which needs two seismic tosses to break it. The second spread is standard to outspeed Weezings and alike.

If you are still deciding what mve to use on Salamence, use Roost, healing power will benefit you more than earthquake thus allowing him to stay in longer.
