____________________________________________

My first actual successful OU team and I try to stay away from standards (Metagross, Salamence, Blissey) and the such, but still good enough to combat them. Some pokemon on my team are ones I’d rather replace, or atleast they aren’t at their fullest right now. I would love it greatly for feedback and improving my team. But I would much prefer not to use pokemon as common as Skarmory or Tyranitar. Bolded moves are ones I'm unsure about.

The Trickster
dpmfb354.png

Banette (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP/252 Spe/4 SDef
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Trick
- Thunder Wave
- Trick Room
---
A sort of gimmick, Banette is a staple pokemon of this team. Capable of immobilizing 2 pokemon on the opponent’s team. Trick the lead the Choice Scarf when they’re SRing or Stat-upping. Then T-Wave the incoming pokemon (Usually Gengar or Lucario, in the games I’ve played with the team) which is great. Trick room is for of the slower pokemon on my team, but they don’t rely on it. Destiny Bond is when I know I’m gonna die, and is a sweet surprise on pokemon who think they can take me down like that. You may say that she’s outclassed by Jirachi or Uxie, but Frisk is a great ability. I came across a Mence lead, and I immediately thought Choice Specs or Life Orb. But Frisk said Leftovers. So I knew it was a SupportMence. EV’d to be as fast as she can, and to be able to take as many hits as she can. I’m sort of concerned about not having an attacking move, but IDK.

The Phys
dpmfb379.png

Registeel @ Expert Belt
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/168 Atk/88 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
---
Very suspicious about this poke, but it hasn't failed me yet. He’s The Phys because he can take all the physical hits he wants, and sends them right back. The obvious Stealth Rock, and Ice/Ground coverage for neutral damage on all but Bronzong and Shedinja. Explosion just to get any pesky poke, or just when The Phys is done. He’s a great Toxic absorber, and can take most hits nicely, while dealing decent damage right back. Many Mences think they can switch in here with ease, but, man, do they get a huge surprise.
---
The Spec
dpmfb134.png

Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/70 Def/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Surf
- Wish
- Shadow Ball
- Roar
---
The Spec is a very tricky Vap, as she's Modest. Most people expect a wall, which she can very much be, but she deals out a heck of a lot of damage more damage than usual with Surf/Shadow ball, resisted only by Empoleon in OU. Wish for the team, and Roar for any pesky Stat-upper.
---
The Power
dpmfb121.png

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spe/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Recover
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin/Hydro Pump
---
The Power is a really nice attacker, and status absorber with Natural Cure. Recover to get back some Life Orb damage, BeamBolt coverage, and either Hydro Pump or Rapid Spin. The Spin is quite helpful for Arcanine who takes a whopping 25% from them. Hydro Pump gets great STAB and 120 base power, which is necessary in taking out some pokemon.
---
The Knocker
dpmfb297.png

Hariyama (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 76 HP/182 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch
---
A bulky fighter, Te Knocker take hits decently, and deals great damage right back. Stone Edge and Close Combat give unresisted coverage, while Bullet Punch is for priority. Knock Off is mostly filler, but it has come in handy in a few situations. I know Close Combat lowers the defenses, but as much as I try to make this guy able to take survive some hits, he can't... I’m also worried about the moveset, no idea what exactly to use…
---
The Woof
dpmfb059.png

Arcanine (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Naive nature (+Spe, -SDef)
- Extremespeed
- Flare Blitz
- Thunder Fang
- Overheat
---
The Woof, my puppy. Mostly a Revenge killer, he's great late game. Choice Scarf make him Extremely fast, but he's still quite fragile. Extreme Speed for priority if Metagross or Scizor try to Bullet Punch. Flare Blitz for Physical STAB and Thunder Fang for coverage. Overheat is for any physical walls that try and laugh at me, but Flare Blitz always does the job just as good, so I’m wondering as to add a different move, because I never seem to use it anyway.

Threats
Threats I have come across:
Ninjask Leads: Banette can do nothing to them.
Other Starmies: Especially stall ones, after Vaporeon dies, I can’t do anything about them.
Weavile Leads: Night Slashes Banette to hell.
Vaporeon: Outstall my Vap, and the whole team, it usually takes out 2 or 3 pokes before dying.
Cresselia: Can't hit it without Vap, and it just stalls my team so hard.
Will be edited when more threats are found.

Thank you for reading this, and thank you for Rating!

On Starmie, remove either T-Bolt or Ice Beam and use a STAB move like Surf.

DD Gyarados gives this team MAJOR issues, so I recommend using Hidden Power Electric on Vaporeon.

Choice Scarf Arcanine in OU is just outclassed by Heatran minus Extremspeed, which a Scarf set doesn't need. So replace Arcanine with Heatran@Choice Scarf with Fire Blast, Explosion, Dragon Pulse, and Earth Power.

That's all I can recommend for now.

Agreeing with Erazor, just dont use Rapid Spin + Life Orb, is kinda dumb to lose HP each time you spin. Hydro Pump is a good move, so thats the way to go.

For Hariyama, you can try a SubPunching set, Substitute/Stone Edge/Knock Off/Focus Punch can work. If not theres always the option of a rest talker, but Machamp is 100 times better than Yama on that.

HP Electric > Shadow Ball on Vapy.

Thats everything i can think of right now.
