I'm probably going to try for another skitty after I get the gift one (If I'm the one to get it). Also why not with breeding Ivs so easy this gen.

why two pokemon? he's not even as good as Garchomp.

Well two Skitty's breed much faster than a Skitty and a Ditto or something else I could use with perfect/ near perfect IV's. Plus it takes time to check the IV's.
It's perfectly fine if you wanna breed for IV's, but I think I'll stick with just breeding, it saves time.
Especially considering the goal is by Christmas.

I finally got one with "ok" IVs after trying for 3 days, and I'm starting to get really frustrated...

Keep or reset?

I'm leaning towards keeping it just to get it over with!

1) Getting that IV spread is difficult even with the 3 guaranteed 31 IVs.

2) Aside from the typing, Zygarde and Garchomp are completely different Pokemon and are played differently. Experienced "good" battlers know the merits of Zygarde and can vouch for how threatening it is when played correctly. Unfortunately many players (espeically new ones) do not know how to use Zygarde properly and therefore overlook it as simply "a weaker Garchomp". I am not saying that Zygarde is crazy-good; I'm just saying that it's not as bad as many people think it is. I could obviously go on about the merits of Zygarde and the proper way of using it, but this is not the purpose of this thread lol.

Probably because, seeing as Zygarde can't be bred, it's very hard to get one with such good IV's (it requires a lot of soft resetting).
Also, take that blasphemous talk elsewhere, heathen.

I'm currently looking for either a spitback pair of Timid Houndours for a spitback pair/5 IV of my own, or just one 4 IV Timd Houndour for one 4 IV of my own, and any 4 IV Timid male Ralts with at least max HP. I can offer the following:

I didn't notice you were looking for a 5 iv skitty. The one I have is just a spitback. Let me know if you want it anyway.
