I wanted to be unique, and I wanted a rain dance team, So i did both.
Team building process:
212.png

I wanted to be very unique, so I decided on a very special lead, Sizor. Scizor has great defenses so I maxed them out and gave him a Damp rock. He can usually set up the rain and take a hit.
212.png
kingdra.png

I needed another dancer, And i know how deadly kingdra is in the rain, so I chose him. Kingdra can set up the rain if scizor fails and proceed to sweep
212.png

503.png

I wanted to play it safe and have 3 dancers and Rotom came to mind, he can abuse thunder's 100% rain accuracy, and set up rain himself.

So now I have my 3 dancers, now it's time for some pure power, and one thing comes to mind, scarfdos. He has amazing special attack and is descently bulky, and is pretty fast with a scarf.

I wanted another dragon that can dish out some serious power, so I found salamence perfect for the job[dragonite if mence gets banned]

I have been wanting an agiligross on a team, so I used him, he has good synergy with the team, and is a beast.

Scizor was getting taunted too much so I chose a faster lead that can set up the rain and rocks as well as abuse thunder.

Metagross wasnt getting the job done because he couldnt utilize the rain, so I decided on a kabutops. I originally ran life orb/swords dance, but i found a choice band set to be more effective

Azelf was a little too frail so I decided on jirachi, he is bulkier, still fastish and can still abuse thunder.
Team details

jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Damp Rock
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/176 Spd/80 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Rain Dance
- Thunder
- U-turn
- Wish

I'm using jirachi as a lead because I can basically set rain up for free. Jirachi is commonly a trickscarf lead so i can expect my opponent to switch and let me set up rain for free, get a wish up, and uturn out to a sweeper. Thunder for spam and parahax.
How Jirachi does against top ten leads
Azelf: Set up rain and thunderspam
Aerodactyl: Set up rain and 2hko with Thunder
Swampert: set up rain and switch to zapdos for the hp grass
Metagross: set up rain and switch to any sweeper for the 2hko
Machamp: set up rain and take the dynamic punch, switch to zapdos and spam thunder
Jirachi: set up rain and uturn out to a sweeper
Infernape: switch to kingdra and ohko with waterfall
Ninjask: set up rain and uturn whatever he passes to to an appropriate counter
Tyranitar: Set up rain and spam thunder/uturn to kingdra
Heatran: Switch to kingdra and set up rain. bla bla bla

kingdra.png

Kingdra (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk/16 Spd/240 SAtk
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Ice Beam
- Draco Meteor
- Waterfall
- Rain Dance
Standard mixed rain dance set. He is very deadly rain sweeper, and if the rain goes away, he can set it up again. He has great synergy with my team having only one weakness, and i have 2 other pokes that resist that weakness. I added Ice beam because I needed a more reliable dragon killer and i rarely used hydro pump.

503.png

Rotom-w @ Damp Rock
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 110 HP/200 Spd/200 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Rain Dance
- Hydro Pump
- Shadow Ball
This is sort of a gimmicky sweeper set. Rain dance to set up if it isnt raining already, and then spam thunder/hydropump. Shadow ball is there for other rotoms. Rotom doesnt have great synergy with my team, and i'm thinking about replacing him.

145.png

Zapdos @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Air cutter
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Ominous Wind
Zapdos is here for one reason and one reason only, spamming thunder. Thunder is extremely deadly especially with rain boosting its accuracy and stab. Hp grass for ttar and swampert. Ominous wind for pesky ghosts and psychics such as gengar and azelf. I replaced heat wave with air cutter for stab and i needed another breloom killer. High crithax ratio isn't bad either. He has good synergy absorbing ground attacks, and I have plenty of rock/ice resisters.

212.png

Scizor (M) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP/252 Def/252 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Rain Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
Same EV spread as when he was a lead, But i tweaked the moveset. I took roost out and added swords dance because if I can set up I have another sweeper/tank. Bullet punch for the obvious stab, Uturn to escape, rain support. Pretty much has the same job as before, but Swords dance i find more effective that roost.

kabutops.png

Kabutops (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 72 HP/252 Atk/186 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Return
Kabutops is a very deadly OU rain sweeper, With rain I dont have to settle for aqua jet. Stab rain boosted banded waterfall does a helluva lot to anything that doesnt resist it. Stone edge for stab and those pesky flying types, and return cause i have nothing better to put there, any suggestions?

I dont really know how to do a proper threat list so ill just list how i deal with the top 20 used pokes

Scizor: 2hko with metagross' eq
Salamence: I have a little trouble with salamence, best bet is draco meteor from kingdra
Tyranitar: Taken care of by kingdra and mence
Gengar: Rotom is risky but it has a super effective, ominous wind with dos, or spam thunder
Rotom-a: Ominous wind and shadow ball take care of it
Metagross: Eq with my metagross or spam thunder
Swampert: HP grass from zapdos
Infernape: Ohko with waterfall/eq
Starmie: spam thunder
Lucario: Eq or spam thunder
Blissey: Use metagross to set up and meteor mash away
Machamp: spam thunder
Azelf: Taken care of by kingdra
Gliscor: Use any water move and he doesnt stand a chance
Breloom: Ohko with draco meteor
Skarmory: Spam thunder
Vaporeon: Spam thunder

O.K well you start off well for a rain team. Scizor is not a good rain lead though as it is easily taunted. I suggest a Damp Rock Azelf Lead which can set up Rain for you. Then drop Salamence for the supporter Scizor. Lanturn does what Zapdos is doing much better as it heals itself if your opponinet is spamming electric attacks.

Next drop Metagross for a kabutops which is a very powerful rain sweeper. Give it a SD set as it can hit much harder then and with rain up it gets a speed boost.

Have a Nice Day!

Thanks ill try those things, should I go for something like?

Azelf @ damp rock
timid
4hp/252satk/252speed
-rain dance
-taunt
-stealth rock
-thunder

Actually i would run Jolly 252 HP, 4 Atk, 252 Spe
with U-turn over Thunder since Jirchi needs to be able to take some hits anyway.

I agrees. Scizor will be done easily as a Lead, easily Taunted, and more. If i were you, i will go with Azelf, running U Turn and Explosion, with Max Hp and Max Speed.

Or if you can, get yourself a Jirachi Leads.

Timid - 252 Hp - 176 Spe - 80 SpA @ Damp Rock
- Rain Dance
- Wish
- Thunder
- U Turn

Most of the time, they will thought it is a Scarfed Lead. So, they wont take any risk Taunting this guy to get you a Free Turn, knowing they will Iron Head or maybe Tricking you instead of setting up Rain ( yes, i met a Jirachi like this before, and my team is crippled. After They use Rain Dance, they use Wish and then swittch with U Turn, damn sweeping most of my Pokes. )

I will also get Kabutops for the sweeping jobs, maybe the Sword Dancer Kabutops instead of Metagross ? Kabutops could do much more to destroy enemies sweeper, with Swift Swim available, it could also get a really incredible speed.

Great Team, as for other 4th slot suggestions why not try X-Scissor as you might try to get countered by celebi and I would guess that a choice band X-Scissor would OHKO it, but i suppose you could keep return as the whole water-normal unresisted thing you've got going on is kinda cool.
(and before i get hate i know that water and normal is resisted by empoleon :/ )

yeah, I could try that, but i have 2 uturners and an ice beam. And i have thunderspammers for empoleon. lol

I didnt even need to bump, lol. I'm very happy with all the criticism and help i recieved, the team is great now. Please lock this thread.
