[OVERVIEW]
Blissey is a solid special wall thanks to its gargantuan HP stat plus good Special Defense, allowing it to tank almost any attack on the special side. This special bulk allows Blissey to forgo Ice Scales for abilities like Magic Guard and Regenerator that gives it extra survivability against all forms of chip damage. Its low Attack also lets it deny Strength Sap's healing from most special attackers like Miraidon and Arceus-Fairy. Blissey has the fatal flaw of having nonexistent physical defense, so it will be forced out by attackers that target its Physical Defense; though this flaw can also be used to your advantage to offensively Imposter-proof Blissey with said attackers. Blissey faces competition from Chansey as a Magic Guard user because of Chansey's increased bulk from Eviolite, however, Blissey has the advantage of not being deterred as much by Knock Off. Additionally, Blissey is quite passive, especially into Regenerator users, so it can struggle to actually progress the game apart from slow pivoting.

[SET COMMENTS]
With Magic Guard, Blissey is immune to all kinds of passive damage like hazards, Thunder Cage chip or poison. This lets Blissey very consistently check most special attackers without fear of said passive damage cutting into its longevity. Ruination, compared with the Strength Sap blocking potential of Blissey, will completely brick most Strength Sap reliant foes that aren't physical, while efficiently wasting recovery PP from other foes that rely on them. It also makes Blissey not entirely passive, though its still questionable into Regenerator users. Burning Bulwark scouts moves, especially from Choice Band users like Mega Garchomp thinking they can use Blissey as a free entry point to start wallbreaking only to get permanently crippled by a burn. Additionally, it also lets Blissey use Wish safely. However, it can make Blissey hard to Imposter-proof offensively with your own physical attackers. Topsy-Turvy deters setup from various special attackers, like Torch Song Mega Sceptile or Take Heart Arceus-Fairy. Teleport is the preferred pivoting move thanks to the negative priority, but Parting Shot can also be used to annoy switch-ins with lowered offenses, while U-Turn bypasses Taunt.

Blissey's ability to block Strength Sap's healing means that virtually every single Choice Band users appreciate it, especially ones that are slower and thus more vulnerable to Strength Sap neutralizing them like Mega Blaziken. Additionally, they can also reverse Imposter-proof Blissey if its not carrying Burning Bulwark. Other teammates like RegenVest Celesteela or Ice Scales Arceus-Steel appreciate Blissey checking threats they cannot themselves, such as Encore Miraidon, alongside the occasional Imposter-proofing that can be done. Blissey is vulnerable to foes that slot coverage specifically for it like Shell Side Arm Eternatus or Secret Sword Arceus-Ghost, strong physical attackers like Ash-Greninja using it as an entry point, or mixed attackers like Ultra Necrozma or, therefore, solid checks to them like Fur Coat Mega Audino, Ice Scales Arceus-Ground and Meloetta makes for good partners. Fast offensive teammates like Koraidon also synergies well with Wish variants to revenge kill setup threats weakened by Ruination.

Other Options
=============

Status-inducing moves such as Glare or Toxic are potential options on the Magic Guard set, but they make Blissey far too passive without providing other utility to be worth it. Miscellaneous utility abilities like Drought or Pressure can be utilized on specific teams, but they are generally niche and not worth it.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical attackers**: Blissey's abysmal defense stat means that virtually any physical attackers threaten it. They have to be careful of Burning Bulwark, however.

**Attackers that target Physical Defense**: In a similar vein, Blissey cannot check mixed attackers like High Jump Kick Mega Sceptile or Secret Sword / Psystrike users like Arceus-Ghost and Mega Gardevoir, since they target Blissey's defense stat.

**Regenerator users**: Regenerator users like Ting-Lu can shrug off Ruinations from Blissey and use it as an entry point for their various utility.

**Pain Split Flutter Mane**: With Pain Split, Flutter Mane can heavily damage Blissey while healing itself to full every time, wasting Blissey's recovery PP and weakens it so other foes such as Eternatus can break through.

[OVERVIEW]
Blissey is a solid special wall thanks to its gargantuan HP stat plus good Special Defense, allowing it to tank almost any attack on the special side. somewhere you should mention that its excellent natural spd lets it forgo scales which gives it very good resilience to all forms of chip it likes to do like hazards mortal cage. Its abysmal feels odd derogatory term here Attack also lets it deny Strength Sap's healing from most special attackers like Miraidon and Arceus-Fairy definitely dont need to change but arceus formes is also fine. The immunity to Moongeist Beam also sets it apart from certain other special walls like Ice Scales Arceus-Fairy, though this is not unique to Blissey not super useful, flutter bricks it often and zam can psystrike it, not much else runs moongeist, can drop this. Blissey has the fatal flaw of having nonexistent physical defense, so it will be forced out by physical attackers, mixed attackers, and Secret Sword users considering Psystrike is relevant too I think you can compress this by just mentioning attackers that target its weaker defense; though this flaw can also be used to your advantage to offensively Imposter-proof Blissey with said attackers. Additionally, Blissey is quite passive, especially into Regenerator users, so it can struggle to actually progress the game apart from slow pivoting. mention competition with chansey. mention regen sets since that will be a written set.

Ruination, compared with the Strength Sap blocking potential of Blissey, will completely brick most Strength Sap reliant foes that aren't physical. It also makes Blissey not entirely passive, though its still questionable into Regenerator users. Burning Bulwark scouts moves, especially from Choice Band users like Mega Garchomp gren slightly better example chomp has blades thinking they can use Blissey as a free entry point to start wallbreaking only to get permanently crippled by a burn. However, it can make Blissey hard to Imposter-proof offensively with your own physical attackers kind of just hard to improof in general. Topsy-Turvy deters setup from various special attackers, like Torch Song Eternatus change to scept i think etern ssa is too common or Take Heart Arceus-Fairy. Teleport is the preferred pivoting move thanks to the negative priority, but Parting Shot can also be used to annoy switch-ins with lowered offenses.

Blissey's ability to block Strength Sap's healing means that virtually every single Choice Band users appreciate it, especially ones that are slower and thus more vulnerable to Strength Sap neutralizing them like Mega Garchomp for this specifically use Blaziken for example, since it pressures the fcs that blissey cant sapblock (eg zama) more effectively. Additionally, they can also reverse Imposter-proof Blissey if its not carrying Burning Bulwark. Other teammates like RegenVest Celesteela or Ice Scales Arceus-Fairy these are not that great of examples since formers defensive utility is lacking and latter is mid scales. consider maybe like some other avs or steels that struggle into the cage guys appreciate Blissey checking threats they cannot themselves, such as Miraidon, alongside the occasional Imposter-proofing that can be done. Blissey is vulnerable to strong physical attackers like Ash-Greninja getting in safely weird wording, mixed attackers like Ultra Necrozma or foes that slot coverage specifically for it like Shell Side Arm Eternatus emphasize the more special guys since they are more targets that blissey wanted to check, also missing flutter mane, therefore, solid checks to them like Fur Coat Mega Audino, Ice Scales Arceus-Ground and Meloetta makes for good partners. can mention fast rkers to pair with wish variants since those cant actively stop setup and thus rely on teammates to rk stuff weakened by ruin.

Status-inducing moves such as Glare or Toxic are potential options, but they make Blissey far too passive without providing other utility to be worth it. specify for which set, idt regen will have notable oos so its fine and we can edit in those later if needed. can mention the misc utility abilities if you want to make this section not too short

Checks and Counters
===================

**Physical Breakers**: Blissey's abysmal defense stat means that virtually any physical attackers threaten it. They have to be careful of Burning Bulwark, however. doesnt even need to be "breakers" esp since you just used attackers later considering stuff like zama beat it as well.

**Mixed Attackers and Secret Sword users**: In a similar vein, Blissey cannot check mixed attackers or Secret Sword users, since they target Blissey's defense stat. psystrike relevant move too, similar to point way above in overview, can also be a bit more specific with examples here such as hjk scept, ssa etern etc.

regen guys that can steal momentum from it, flutter mane

i feel like im kinda just repeating the same points throughout the entire thing but idk how to fix it bliss is such a 1 dimensional mon

Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD very, very nitpicky, but itn't it technically optimal to run 0 spa as well? you don't have any special attacks and opposing imp could technically click doom desire, switch out, and then come in and copy blissey on the turn that dd hits. in that case, 0 spa would be better

Ruination, compared with the Strength Sap blocking potential of Blissey, will completely brick most Strength Sap reliant foes that aren't physical. Could also mention how it efficiently eats up shore up / recover / whatever pp, which lets it wear down foes that rely on them in the long term It also makes Blissey not entirely passive, though its still questionable into Regenerator users. Burning Bulwark scouts moves, especially from Choice Band users like Mega Garchomp thinking they can use Blissey as a free entry point to start wallbreaking only to get permanently crippled by a burn. Blissey is vulnerable to foes that slot coverage specifically for it like Shell Side Arm Eternatus or Pain Split Flutter Mane fmane doesn't really run pain split specifically for blissey, and I wouldn't really call pain split "coverage". Something like secret sword ghostceus would make a lot more sense here, as it is a common option on a common mon that runs secret sword mostly because of blissey (and chansey) , strong physical attackers like Ash-Greninja using it as an entry point, or mixed attackers like Ultra Necrozma or, therefore, solid checks to them like Fur Coat Mega Audino, Ice Scales Arceus-Ground and Meloetta makes for good partners. Fast offensive teammates like Koraidon also synergies well with Wish variants why wish variant specifically, and not the topsy turvy variants as well? should probably be clarified if there is a reason for why koraidon synergises better with wish sets than topsy sets to revenge kill setup threats weakened by Ruination.

**Attackers that target Physical Defense**: In a similar vein, Blissey cannot check mixed attackers like High Jump Kick Mega Sceptile or Secret Sword / Psystrike users like Arceus-Ghost could maybe mention gardevoir-m here, as it's really the only mon that runs psystrike, since they target Blissey's defense stat.

**Regenerator users**: Regenerator users can shrug off Ruinations from Blissey and use it as an entry point for their various utility.

**Pain Split Flutter Mane**: With Pain Split, Flutter Mane can heavily damage Blissey while healing itself to full every time, either enabling other attackers or eventually breaking through Blissey with Moonblast. cmon now it's never actually going to break through blissey by itself, unless you're playing a like 400 turn game where blissey is knocked off and running shore up and has to check a th fairyceus and a tsong denergy etern... then fmane might break through blissey w pain split + moonblast in combination with them... but idt that should be the justification for psplit fmane being good vs blissey. You could however mention how it just generally wastes shore up / wish pp, or weakens it for a teammate to ko blissey.

With Magic Guard, Blissey is immune to all kinds of passive damage like entry hazards, Thunder Cage chip or damage, and poison. This lets Blissey very consistently check most special attackers without fear of said passive damage cutting into its longevity. shore up/wish are move 1, so they need to be talked about before ruination - these moves are slashed, so you do need to add explanation on when each one is preferred Ruination, compared with the Strength Sap blocking potential of Blissey, will completely brick most Strength Sap reliant foes that aren't physical (RC) while efficiently wasting recovery PP from other foes that rely on them it. It also makes prevents Blissey not from being entirely passive, though its it's still questionable into against Regenerator users. Topsy-Turvy deters setup from various special attackers, like Torch Song Mega Sceptile or and Take Heart Arceus-Fairy. topsy turvy needs to be explained before bulwark because it's slashed first, and it needs to be rephrased so it sounds like the main slash Teleport is the preferred pivoting move thanks to the its negative priority, but Parting Shot can also be used to annoy switch-ins with lowered offenses, while and U-turn bypasses Taunt.

'that can be done' isn't clear - does blissey importer proof them, or do they imposter proof blissey? Blissey is vulnerable to foes that slot run coverage specifically for it like Shell Side Arm Eternatus or and Secret Sword Arceus-Ghost, strong physical attackers like Ash-Greninja using it as an entry point, or and mixed attackers like Ultra Necrozma. (AP) Therefore or, therefore (RC) solid checks to them like Fur Coat Mega Audino, Ice Scales Arceus-Ground, (AC) and Meloetta makes make for good partners.
