Sketching Pursuit and Ice Punch

I think I can sketch pursuit from a ratata, murkrow and buziel however ice punch is another problem. where would be the best location to sketch ice punch?

Use the VS Seeker to get a double battle and let your own Pokémon use Ice Punch (you don't have to use it on Smeargle) and then have Smeargle use Sketch on the Ice Punch user.

Have a Medicham relearn Ice Punch, engage in an ingame double battle. Have Medicham Ice Punch an opponent, Smeargle Sketches it, voila.

encore the E4 medicham and sketch.

Smeargle is too fragile though, so the E4 Medicham will probably kill it. I'd rather just do the steps that Juuka mentioned
