Hi guys, I posted a few weeks ago about a team I had based around slacking, it got alot of feedback and worked much better by the end of it, but over time I started playing around and started transforming the side sweeps to do much better. Here's the new set, and I'd appreciate any feedback I get.

Slaking @ Choice Band
Ability: Truant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Giga Impact
- Retaliate
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
To start off, we have Mr. Smack the shit outta u for killin his buddy. Revenge killer slacking is truly a force to be reckoned with as just it's retaliate can drop a Defensive Landorus T down to 10% health. Accurately predicting switch-ins with Slaking means no mon is safe. Not much to say, but as he's who I based the team around, I feel a bit too attached to let him go.
Pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Quick Attack
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
This is Pinsir, the perfect combat buddy for Slacking, pairing the two of them up, everyone is vulnerable to a revenge kill. Pinsir runs quick attack to speed out mons and uses moxie incase he doesn't have to mega to get the kill. Swords dance is run in case of a bulky slow defensive switch in, pinsir can set up to destroy them. and X-Scissor was chosen over return for a good STAB move that can be used to drop pokemon who expect return.
Volcanion @ Choice Specs
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Steam Eruption
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Sludge Bomb
Volcanion is a really fun pokemon for me to use, I tried running him AV for a while, but I liked his spec option more. I've designed him to outspeed other mons as my two other tanks can take any hit that hasn't been buffed.
Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Smack Down
- U-turn
Lando T, the perfect switch in for the bulky annoying mons that really get on my nerves, I've equipped him with smack down over stone edge for maximum support tanking, and he's really grown on me since I started.
Goodra @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
Happiness: 0
EVs: 40 HP / 216 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Body Slam
- Sludge Wave
Goodra, my replacement for defog latios and a really good tank in general, Goodra runs Assault vest as most, and Body Slam for a hidden physical att. This way he isn't walled by blissey and can put up a good fight against chancey.
Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Psyshock
Starmie is my favorite utility pokemon, and runs amazingly well with my team, it has 2 powerful STABS while still being able to take my status effects and clear hazards for me.
Potential switch ins would be these
Latios > Goodra
Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 29 HP / 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Roost
- Defog
This switch in would serve to buff my teams over all speed while covering my Hazard weakness
Jirachi > Starmie
Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 176 HP / 152 Atk / 180 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Healing Wish
- Ice Punch
This switch in will not happen unless I can encorporate a hazard reliever aswell, this would alow me to buff my team's bulky speed, and incorporate a second fairy counter, and this one would work much better than most others.
M-Loppuny > M-Pinsir
this would alleviate the stress caused by low speed and rocks, allowing me to incorporate Jirachi while still upping my team's overall speed. Sadly, I don't have a good set for this and would be asking that you would take time out of your busy schedule and design one for me. :D I will be your slave until dismissed, and only my children would be allowed full human rights....
