Slow and Steady Wins The Race

This is a team I made in Pokemon Showdown, and although it doesn't have a lot of attackers, it works well.

Balls O' Furry (Forretress) @ Red Card
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
Forretress is usually my starter, and I try to set up as many entry hazards as I can. Forcing the other pokemon to switch with red card is a good way to damage the opposing team with stealth rock/spikes, or poison them with toxic spikes. Rpid spin away any entry hazards the other team is attempting to set up. Red card also spoils Ninjask speed boosting/swords dancing behind a substitute and then switching to a fighter or a stored power user.
Replaceable, although preferably not.

Ribbit (Politoed) @ Water Gem
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Encore
- Protect
- Scald
- Toxic
Also a good starter, this Politoed is one of the best annoyers out there. Start of with a protect to see what the foe is going to do, and then you can:
-Switch to Espeon if they are trying to open with toxic/paralysis and bounce it back at them.
-Encore if they use Stealth Rock, rendering there next few turns useless. DO NOT DO SO WITH SPIKES. Spikes will accumulate. Stealth rocks will not.
-Toxic the pokemon if its a Wall (Like Blissey) and protect spam.
-Or attack with water gem+scald if its a fire or ground type.
Non-replaceable

Prepare Yourself (Ninjask) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd
Careful Nature
- Baton Pass
- Protect
- Substitute
- X-Scissor
Okay, so you probably know what this is going to be used for. Simply substitute, protect and substitute again until Ninjask's speed is at x4, then use Baton Pass into either Espeon for stored power, or to Rotom for speedy Overheat. Use X-scissor in the worst of times. Great support pokemon. Non-replaceable, but open to suggestions.

Fatty the Great (Blissey) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Aromatherapy
- Toxic
- Softboiled
This fat blob has saved my bacon many, many times. Although it is useless against pokemon with the magic guard ability, this Blissey has perfected the art of toxic stalling. Aromatherapy for healing status, softboiled for healing. I do need a suggestion for a move to replace stealth rock, as Forrteress should take care of entry hazards. Blissey pulled her weight in this battle--http://www.pokemonshowdown.com/replay/ou9991108(My team is the opposing team in this replay) Blissey is Non-Replaceable.

Dafuq is This (Rotom-Heat) @ White Herb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
- Overheat
- Pain Split
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
I just added this Rotom to my team, and its proved its worth. Overheat is a good sweeping move, even more so when White herb is equipped. Pain split gets Rotom out of tight situations. Rest is a good stalling move, and sleep talk is useful for spewing flames in its sleep. Good special attacker and special defender. Plus, this thing just looks awesome. Needs improvements. Replaceable.

Nyan (Espeon) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Magic Bounce
IVs: 0 Spd
- Stored Power
- Calm Mind
- Baton Pass
- Trick Room
Espeon is great pokemon, and it's even better when its received speed boosts and a substitute from Ninjask. Calm mind abuse makes stored power a force to be reckoned with. Now, I'm not sure why it has no speed IVs, I don't remember giving it that... I'll have to fix that. This pokemon also needs improvement. I need to get red of trick room. It was supposed to help my slower pokemon, but Espeon was the only one who could learn it. Non-replaceable, open to suggestions.

Thanks for reading and rating!

One last note--
The team it Blissey's replay differs slightly from this team in the fact that I have a Herracross named Jabykins instead of Rotom.

Hi, nice team you've got here. I'm looking at over but the issue I'm seeing is that a bunch of your pokemon don't really seem to be consistent with each other. For example, you've got Rotom-H and enjoy firing off Overheat, but Politoed's going to cut your damage output in half. Similarly, you've got Trick Room hanging around on a speedy pokemon that doesn't really need it. There's a couple of things I think you could do to clean this up and make your team synergize a bit better, hope it helps.

First off, your Forretress set is a bit off. I don't recommend running all three hazards on Forry as he'll never have time to set up everything, and Toxic Spikes is pretty useless in today's metagame. So, I suggest Gyro Ball > Toxic Spikes with a Brave nature and 0 Speed IVs to maximize your damage output. Forry isn't outspeeding anybody anyways and this helps him have a bit of offensive presence.

Now for your Politoed set, it seems like a normal defensive Politoed, but I'm a bit confused why you're running Water Gem. This 'toed isn't meant to kill people anyways and it probably isn't helping you much. So try Leftovers > Water Gem instead.

On Blissey, since you already have Stealth Rock elsewhere, go with Seismic Toss > Stealth Rock. This gives you a bit of offensive presence and prevents you from being total Taunt bait.

I'm not quite sure what Ninjask is doing on this team, considering that you don't really have a dedicated Baton Pass chain set up, and Espeon isn't really the best receiver for just a Ninjask pass. I also notice that your entire team (bar Politoed) will be OHKOed by a Specs Keldeo, an incredibly common threat. So I recommend that you swap out Ninjask for a Specially Defensive Jellicent, which fits with the defensive nature of the rest of your team, spinblocks for you, and stops Keldeo fairly well.

As for Rotom-H, like I said before, rain hurts your Overheat. So why not switch Rotom-W > Rotom-H. You can use pretty much the exact same set, although I'd recommend that if you're using RestTalk you don't use Pain Split - Will-O-Wisp or an Electric attack would probably be better.

Finally, for Espeon, I'd say get rid of Trick Room. I might go with HP Fighting > Trick Room to hit Dark types that you can't touch with Stored Power, but I'm not all that experienced with Espeon.

Hopefully this helps you out. Good luck!

Thanks!
