[OVERVIEW]

• Slowbro's natural physical bulk allows it to absorb physical set up sweepers attacks and retaliate with Scald which has a chance to burn and halve physical power.
• With a Rocky Helmet Slowbro can deal more damage than it's taking without attacking.
• Slowbro can use its ability Regenerator to its advantage and switch out when the opponent walls it.
• Even without mega evolving Slowbro can still suck up everything physical coming its way.
• Slowbro can be countered by powerful special Ghost or Dark types such as Mega Sableye (after being set up), Greninja (Protean or Battle Bond) or Gengar (But it must be wary of Psychic or Psyshock).
• Slowbro, as it's name implies is really slow.
• Slowbro doesn't like anything that has a high special attack that will set up because it is setup fodder and can't deal big hits even with a high base 100 special attack.

Moves
========

• Scald is simply to burn the opponent and slow down physical attackers which are what you want to switch Slowbro into.
• Slack Off is for recovery after Slowbro gets's worn down and can't switch.
• Fire Blast will allow Slowbro to break common Grass-types such as Ferrothorn and hit them with a super effective hit.
• Flamethrower is if you don't want to gamble accuracy even at the cost of lowered power.
• Psychic is a powerful Psychic STAB move that allows Slowbro to hurt threats that resist Scald.
• Psyshock is for hitting special walls like Chansey or Blissey at the cost of lowered BP.

Set Details
========

• 252 HP EV's gives Slowbro 394 HP. This will allow Slowbro to be 3 or 2 hit KOed by super-effective hits and simply recover the damage taken with Slack Off.
• The 252 Defence EV's offer Slowbro even more bulk and lowers damage on super effective hits allowing again allowing Slowbro to wall threats like Tapu Bulu if they haven't set-up and retaliate with its own super-effective hit.
• 4 Special Attack EV's isn't significant but will let Slowbro dish out more damage than it's taking with its wide movepool filled with coverage.
• Having a Rocky Helmet will make physical sweepers think twice before attacking Slowbro and makes them take more damage then they're dealing.
• Leftovers is a simple item that can make a huge difference when battling because it can help Slowbro bulk more powerful hits.

Usage Tips
========

• Don't switch Slowbro into a super-effective attack unless you know it won't hurt you. Slowbro needs the extra turns to recover it's HP otherwise it will wither.
• Make sure you keep on switching Slowbro throughout the game otherwise it can't hurt anything. Keep in mind Slowbro's Regenerator ability can only restore 1/3 of it's HP per switch.
• Slowbro is inclined to take physical hits and taking a special hit can really damage it especially if it is super effective.
• If Slowbro is at really low HP then simply switch out and wait for a physical attacker to show up and bring it up to full with Slack Off.
• Slowbro really wants to avoid Toxic poison and if you take a Toxic then Slowbro is out of commission for the rest of the game because the damage will eventually overtake Slack Off stalling.
• If you run into a Choice Scarf tricker than Slowbro is again pretty much useless due to being either locked into Slack Off or an offensive move which can be switched into.

Team Options
========

• Other Regenerator users most notably Amoongus because it can really help Slowbro if run as a special wall by using Spore to force out special attackers and bring in Slowbro. Remember the sleep clause. Other usable Pokémon include Tangrowth, Reuniclus and Toxapex.
• Ghost-type checks will help Slowbro's tank capacity. This includes but is not limited to Mega Sableye, Alolan Marowak, Alolan Muk and Tyranitar.
• It is a good idea to bring a Pokemon that will force out special attackers such as Chansey or Blissey because combining them with Slowbro makes an effective fortress to physical and special attacks. They can also really help Slowbro with Aromatherapy.
• Bug types can cover Dark and Grass-type foes. Use a Pokemon such as Buzzwole because it has the extra fighting coverage as well.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

• Thunder Wave is a viable option to slow down faster Pokemon and bring in a sweeper.
• Trick Room could theoretically be used but due to Slowbro not really needing to outspeed Pokemon, there isn't much of a real point.
• Due to a good base 100 special attack, you can use Slowbro as a bulky special sweeper.
• Slowbro has another good coverage move Grass Knot that can hit Water-Dark types such as Greninja (Battle Bond or Protean) or Mega Gyarados.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grass Types**: Since most grass types are run special I will generalise the group. Pokemon such as Serperior and Mega Venasaur can really ruin your day.
**Dark Types**: Without bug type teammates Dark types can deal tonnes of damage to Slowbro particularly if they are special.
**Electric Types**: Xurkitree with Tail Glow can easily set up on Slowbro and kill it with Thunderbolt.
**Bug Types**: Though Buzzwole doesn't appreciate burn it can still hurt Slowbro badly even though it is quite bulky.

Yeah well Mega Bro is deserving of a set so, if you aren't going to put your childish bias aside then we are going to reassign this ASAP.

Yeah actually fuck this, it's getting reassigned. This is a waste of time if you are going to refuse to mention a perfectly viable Pokemon because you don't like its design. That's not how this works at all. Analysis are a guide for new players, so all bias has to be cut out regardless of whether or not you disagree with something. Next time you do something like this, you are going to be barred from writing any analysis.

We write analyses for Pokemon's viability - not because we think something does or doesn't look aesthetically pleasing. I hate Defog Mega Scizor so much, and I still put that within my analysis.

I'm not even humoring with a 24 hour to make a change to this. I'm simply re-assigning it. Next time don't think something you disagree with aesthetically be the difference of a mention or no mention in an analysis.
