Tera Poison gives Slowbro a better matchup against foes like Alolan Muk and Chesnaught while also granting it a Toxic immunity, which is useful for setup. Slowbro fits on balance teams, which value Slowbro’s defensive profile and ability to check many physical threats. Slowbro is vulnerable to Dark-types like Bisharp, Krookodile, and Alolan Muk; therefore, allies like Hippowdon, Chesnaught, and Amoonguss are appreciated to take on these foes. In return, Slowbro can answer foes like Talonflame and Entei. Slowbro is also weak to Ghost-type Pokemon like Gengar and Basculeigon-F, so it appreciates teammates like Wo-Chien, Cyclizar, and Umbreon.

Tera Poison while also grants granting it a Toxic immunity, which is useful for setup. Slowbro doesn't mind Knock Off, so reworded it to Dark types (especially cause bisharp doesn't have it this gen) In return, Slowbro can answer foes like Talonflame and Entei. Slowbro is also weak to Ghost-type Pokemon like Gengar and Basculeigon-F, so it appreciates teammates like Blissey Wo-Chien, Cyclizar, and Umbreon to answer these foes.
