Slowking @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Future Sight / Slack Off
- Teleport

Slowking's good defensive typing and access to Regenerator make it one of the best pivots in UU, being able to check threats like Noivern, Starmie, and Keldeo, while gaining valuable momentum with Teleport. Psyshock is required to check Calm Mind variants of Keldeo. Future Sight is a great offensive tool, and when paired with Teleport, it allows Slowking to greatly support wallbreakers such as Mienshao, Lycanroc-D, and Terrakion by providing them safe switch-in opportunities and limiting switch-ins like Galarian Weezing and Palossand. Alternatively, Slack Off is an option to better pivot into Pokemon like Keldeo and Noivern if Slowking is on a team that particularly struggles with them. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents Slowking being worn down by entry hazards, allowing it to pivot more reliably and more easily forgo Slack Off. Slowking appreciates teammates like Jirachi and Skarmory that can check threats to it such as Kyurem and Obstagoon, respectively. Both can also set Stealth Rock, and Skarmory's Whirlwind forms a dangerous combination with Future Sight.

Slowking's access to Regenerator and good defensive typing make it one of the best pivots in UU, able to check threats like Noivern, Starmie, and Keldeo, while gaining valuable momentum with Teleport. Psyshock is required to check Calm Mind + Substitute variants of Keldeo you can honestly just cut this down to cm keld, it can boost in your face w/o psyshock and tank a future sight to trade a KO. Future Sight is a great offensive enabler tool, and paired with Teleport it allows Slowking to greatly support wallbreakers such as Mienshao, Lycanroc-Dusk, and Terrakion by providing them safe switch in opportunities and limiting switch-ins like Galarian Weezing and Palossand. Slack Off is, however, an option to better pivot into Pokemon like Keldeo and Noivern on teams that particularly struggle with them also helps w/ not getting flinched down by rachi, if you can fit that then pls do but otherwise nbd. Heavy-Duty Boots prevent Slowking being worn down by entry hazards, allowing it to pivot more reliably and more easily forgo Slack Off. Slowking also appreciates teammates like Jirachi and Skarmory, who can check threats to Slowking such as Kyurem and Obstagoon respectively, which can easily switch into and take advantage of Slowking. kinda repetitive wording, try and mention that they get rocks up which helps w/ future sight combos if you wanna fit something else here to make it less empty

Future Sight is a great offensive tool, and when paired with Teleport, (AC) it allows Slowking to greatly support wallbreakers such as Mienshao, Lycanroc-Dusk, and Terrakion by providing them safe switch-in (AH) opportunities and limiting switch-ins like Galarian Weezing and Palossand. Alternatively, (AC) Slack Off is, (RC) however, (RC) an option to better pivot into Pokemon like Keldeo and Noivern if Slowking is on a teams that particularly struggles with them (a little clarity added). Heavy-Duty Boots prevents (natural plural items are treated as singular nouns in cases like this) Slowking being worn down by entry hazards, allowing it to pivot more reliably and more easily forgo Slack Off. Slowking appreciates teammates like Jirachi and Skarmory, (RC) who that can check threats to Slowking it such as Kyurem and Obstagoon, (AC) respectively.
