  • Slowking acts as a slow pivot with the unique ability to summon snow thanks to the move Chilly Reception. This allows Slowking to safely bring in wallbreakers against defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex while also making them less prone to being revenge killed by Protosynthesis users.
  • Future Sight lets Slowking help wallbreakers such as Koraidon and Chien Pao break past defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Clodsire.
  • Chilling Water lets Slowking take on physical setup sweepers such as Palafin and Great Tusk one-on-one.
  • Thunder Wave can be used to cripple wallbreakers that switch into Slowking such as Flutter Mane and Iron Bundle. Surf is also an option to pressure Great Tusk, Iron Treads, and Chi-Yu more after switching in.
  • Heavy-Duty Boots lets Slowking pivot without worrying about entry hazards. Kasib Berry can be used to better take on Flutter Mane, but the lack of Heavy-Duty Boots makes Slowking significantly more weak to entry hazards, so teammates such as Great Tusk and Iron Treads are required for entry hazard removal.
  • Tera Fairy allows Slowking to take Dark- and Dragon-type attacks such as Koraidon's Outrage, Chien-Pao's Crunch, and Chi-Yu's Dark Pulsewhile maintaining a resistance to Fighting-type attacks such as Koraidon and Great Tusk's Close Combat.
  • Slowking fits best on bulky offense teams that appreciate Slowking's ability to pivot in strong wallbreakers with Chilly Reception against passive walls.
  • Chien-Pao is a fantastic partner for Slowking because Chien-Pao appreciates Slowking's Future Sight being able to break past Toxapex and Chilly Reception safely bringing Chien-Pao in. Iron Bundle is another fantastic partner because it appreciates Slowking's Chilly Reception and is able to freely use Blizzard, making it a much more effective wallbreaker. Koraidon also benefits from Slowking's Future Sight breaking through Toxapex and Chilly Reception both safely pivoting it in and resetting sun turns. Additionally, both of the aforementioned Ice-types get Defense boosts in snow, which can be useful for surviving neutral attacks such as Earthquake from Great Tusk, Iron Treads, and Ting-Lu and Jet Punch from Palafin.

slash kasib berry as item. slowking survives a +1 shadow ball from flutter mane, even after spikes, and lets you twave it. if you decide to slash it, mention how entry hazards prone you are now, and add teammates like tusk or treads to compensate for not having boots.

Remove Psyshock, I think Future Sight is the selling point of the set, and should be emphasised accordingly. Also, in teammates mention the boost in defense Ice types get from Snowstorm, and how that can be situationally useful for tanking hits like Jet Punch from Palafin, and Earthquake from Ting Lu.
