[SET COMMENTS]
Slowpoke is an excellent defensive pivot that can switch-in against many common offensive threats such as Gurdurr, Piloswine, and Raboot. Teleport enables Slowpoke to gain momentum for its teammates, allowing it to bring in wall breakers safely and simultaneously recovering its health with Regenerator. Toxic is valuable for crippling bulky Pokemon such as Vullaby, Tangela, and Galarian Corsola. Yawn pairs well as Slowpoke gains momentum with Teleport as the opponent either switches out or is put to sleep. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple fast threats or walls immune to Toxic like Golbat.

Slowpoke's Special bulk is not as good as its physical bulk, meaning it gets forced out by strong Special Attackers such as Electabuzz, Lampent, and Tangela. Thus, specially defensive walls like Ferroseed, Wartortle, and Klang are excellent partners since they can soak up hits and patch Slowpoke's Grass and Electric weaknesses. In return, Slowpoke can tank attacks from Raboot and Piloswine, and also be a Knock Off absorber against users unable to break it like Gurdurr and Mareanie. Slowpoke is best paired with wallbreakers like Pikachu, Choice Band Raboot, and Choice Specs Galarian Mr. Mime since Teleport brings them in safely. Additional Regenerator walls like Tangela and Mareanie when paired with Slowpoke forms a defensive core that can sponge most hits and abuse their passive recovery.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Future Sight over Scald works well to nail Poison-types, and can work well with team support like Gurdurr and Thwackey to help bait these targets in to take the hit. Specially defensive sets have some merit for being able to stomach hits better from Magmar and Kadabra, but Slowpoke loses many relevant switch-in opportunities without the physical investment. Slowpoke may opt for Psychic Terrain to support Expanding Force Kadabra or Galarian Mr. Mime, but with the popularity Thwackey while also doubling down on Pyschic-types makes this strategy hard to pull off.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grass-types**: The most abundant of its weaknesses, Grass-types in NFE like Thwackey, Tangela, Roselia, and Ivysaur all have strong STAB attacks to break through Slowpoke.

**Special Wallbreakers**: Slowpoke is unable to effectively take hits from Electabuzz, Kadabra, and Gastly. It may scare them from switching in, but Substitute + Calm Mind Lampent is another attacker that takes advantage of Slowpoke's passivity.

**Knock Off**: While Slowpoke is able to tank hits from Gurdurr and Vullaby, it ultimately gets worn down by the attack and is less effective as a wall thereafter. Stronger Knock Off abusers like Pikachu and Krokorok are likely to 2HKO Slowpoke with Stealth Rock support.

**Stallbreakers**: Golbat utilizes Taunt to shrug off Scald and prevent Slowpoke from status attempts or pivoting. Setup based stallbreakers like Rufflet are also troublesome, with Substitute being a problem when Slowpoke's attacks are too weak for it to break it on its own.

Slowpoke is an excellent defensive pivot that can switch in against many common offensive threats such as Machoke, Piloswine, and Wartortle (you get 2hko'd by wartortle after shell smash, change this to Raboot). Teleport enables Slowpoke to gain momentum for its teammates, allowing it to bring in wall breakers safely and simultaneously recovering its health with Regenerator. Scald allows Slowbro to cripple Physical attackers namely Fraxure and Thwackey (these pokemon beat you 1v1, cut the sentence here re-use Piloswine and Raboot, throw in Mienfoo too) while also threatening Fire- and Ground-types, for example, Lampent, Raboot, and Piloswine. Slack Off can be used for a reliable Recovery and required in situations where Slowpoke is incredibly weakened. Toxic is valuable for crippling bulky Pokemon such as Vullaby, Tangela, and Galarian Corsola. Yawn can be used to force a switch paired with Teleport makes them switch out or stay in and be asleep. Thunder Wave can be used over Toxic to cripple fast threats namely Kadabra, Raboot, and Wartortle. (i want mentions of psychic terrain pls, i also would like psychic to be mentioned for scald since it helps vs sub users like Hakamo-o, also helps against mons like Gastly and Gloom who could switch in)

However, Slowpoke's special bulk is not as good as its physical bulk, meaning it gets forced out by special attackers such as Kadabra, Lampent, and Roselia. Specially defensive pivots such as Vullaby, Wartortle, Klang respectively are excellent partners since they can soak up hits from the aforementioned special attackers. In return, Slowpoke can tank attacks from Raboot, and Piloswine for Vullaby and Klang. Slowpoke is best paired with offensive wall breakers since with Teleport it can bring them in safely, most notable would be Raboot, Thwackey, and Kadabra, since none of them like to be chipped down. (points that need to be added in this paragraph: slowpoke is very reliant on its eviolite, slowpoke doesn't like to be status, slowpoke is weak to grass and electric types (you've hit on grass types already in a way but it loses to things like thwackey which klang can't wall so mons like tang and pilo need to be mentioned, pilo bro core is good as well since it limits volturn and slowpoke walls raboot, slowpoke can easily be taken advantage of by set up sweepers like klang and duo so it needs to pivot out vs them)

Slowpoke is an excellent defensive pivot that can switch in against many common offensive threats such as Machoke, Piloswine, and Raboot. Teleport enables Slowpoke to gain momentum for its teammates, allowing it to bring in wall breakers safely and simultaneously recovering its health with Regenerator. Scald allows Slowpoke to cripple Physical attackers namely Piloswine, Reboot Raboot, and Mienfoo. Slack Off can be used for a reliable Rrecovery and required (if you're going to say that it's required you can't start the sentence with 'it can be used') in situations where Slowpoke is incredibly weakened. Toxic is valuable for crippling bulky Pokemon such as Vullaby, Tangela, and Galarian Corsola. Yawn can be used to force a switch or make a Pokemon fall asleep, paired with Teleport this allows momentum to gain if they opposing Pokemon decide to switch out or stay in and fall asleep. Thunder Wave can be used to cripple fast threats namely Kadabra, Raboot, and Wartortle. Psychic can be used over Scald since it helps against Substitute Pokemon, for example, Hakamo-o, and helps against Pokemon like Gastly and Gloom which can switch in otherwise. Psychic Terrain can be used to support Expanding Force Kadabra and then bring it in safely with Teleport.

Slowpoke's special bulk is not as good as its physical bulk, meaning it gets forced out by special attackers such as Kadabra, Lampent, and Roselia. Specially defensive pivots like Vullaby, Wartortle, Klang respectively are excellent partners since they can soak up hits from the aforementioned special attackers. Slowpoke is very reliant on Eviolite, so Vullaby or Tangela are good partners since they cover the Grass-type and Electric-type weakness respectively, while also being able to absorb Knock Off (switch this sentence up, say they can absorb knock off before mentioning that they can cover grass and electric coverage). Piloswine goes great with Slowpoke since it limits opposing VoltTurn cores and while Slowpoke can tank attacks from its threats like Raboot and Machoke. Slowpoke can be easily taken advantage of by setup sweepers namely Klang and Duosion so Slowpoke has to pivot out, to wall breakers such as Lampent and Raboot.

Teleport enables Slowpoke to gain momentum for its teammates, allowing it to bring in wall breakers safely and simultaneously recovering its health with Regenerator. Scald allows Slowpoke to cripple Physical attackers namely Piloswine, Raboot Thwackey, and Mienfoo. (I know that Raboot has Libero but burning it is still a lot less likely than other physical attackers so i swapped it for Thwackey which might actually switch into Slowpoke) Slack Off is used for reliable recovery and required in situations where Slowpoke is incredibly weakened. Toxic is valuable for crippling bulky Pokemon such as Vullaby, Tangela, and Galarian Corsola. Yawn can be used to force a switch or make a Pokemon fall asleep, paired with Teleport this allows momentum to gain if opposing Pokemon decide to switch out or stay in and fall asleep. Psychic Terrain can be used to support Expanding Force Kadabra and then bring it in safely with Teleport. (Apologies for another QC member telling you to add this but I had a talk with the rest of the QC members and we agreed that Psychic Terrain is too niche and gimmicky to warrant a mention here.)

Slowpoke's special bulk is not as good as its physical bulk, meaning it gets forced out by special attackers such as Kadabra, Lampent, and Roselia. Slowpoke is best paired with offensive wall breakers since with Teleport it can bring them in safely, most notable would be Raboot, Thwackey, and Kadabra, since none of them like to be chipped down their poor defenses make it difficult to directly switch in on attacks. Slowpoke is very reliant on Eviolite, so Vullaby or Tangela are good partners since they can absorb Knock Off, while also being able to cover the Grass-type and Electric-type weakness respectively. The latter also forms a Regenerator core with Slowpoke and benefits from Slowpoke being able to switch into Fire-type attacks comfortably.
