Backed by a towering base 170 Attack stat and coming off Freeze Shock for a monstrous 200 Base Power, Kyurem-B's Subzero Slammer devastates even the bulkiest neutral targets, such as Tyranitar, Gothitelle, and Mew, which can match Kyurem-B's other sets. This set's ability to delete a select defensive piece comes in handy for offensive teams, typically leading to a domino effect that crumbles defensive backbones. Gothitelle is one of this set's best partners, as not only does Shadow Tag help Kyurem-B in securing KOs, but it also prevents Incineroar, a reliable Kyurem-B switch-in due to its Intimidate and Fire typing, from coming onto the field. Tapu Koko makes Kyurem-B's Fusion Bolt a more reliable attack while also effectively checking opposing Mega Metagross, another one of Kyurem-B's most reliable counters.
