Greetings Smogon. I'm not very good at introductions, so let's just get into the team building process, shall we? :)

Team Building
Since it's a Smash team, we need Shell Smash and a way to pass it safely. Smeargle is the first one that comes to mind here, so that's what I go with.
235.gif

To go along with my smasher, I needed someone to pass it to, enter one of my favorite pokes in UU. With a Smash, it can OHKO the entire meta, with the exception of a handful of pokes that I have yet to see anyone playing in UU.

Next, I needed a way to both discourage hazards, and lay my own SR. More than likely it will be a suicide lead. I considered Froslass for this spot, but in the end went with Aerodactyl for more speed.

These three pokes make up the core of my team. If everything goes off without a hitch, then these three are the only ones that will make an appearance.

To fill out the team, the next poke I chose was Nidoking. With a smash, this guy has the ability to sweep teams in his own right, so it felt like a right pick.

These last two slots have been a contention with me, I have tried many pokes in this slots, and have yet to find any that seem to fit. First off I tried Mienshao and Azelf, both physical scarfs with U-Turn, to give momentum. However this lead to too many awkward situations.

So for some reason, not exactly sure why, I switch Mienshao to Archeops, and it and Azelf have spent the majority of the time in these slots.

I wasn't comfortable with them like this, but I kept winning, and thought, why fix what apparently works. But they rarely work when it comes down to it. I've recently changed them to other pokemon, but the team below will reflect the above so my current configuration doesn't give bias to any suggestions that might be given.

Team Overview

235.gif

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Spore
- Shell Smash
- Magic Coat
- Baton Pass

Shell Smash is the purpose of the team...well...winning is the purpose of this team, but it is accomplished through shell smash. Magic Coat is the odd man out here in this set. It rarely gets used, though it has come in handy in some random circumstances. Still, it's all about prediction, and I'm no Miss Cleo. When I get a Smash Spore, 9/10 times it will pass to the guy below.

494.gif

Victini @ Life Orb
Trait: Victory Star
EVs: 220 Atk / 212 SAtk / 76 Spd
Naughty Nature
- V-create
- Bolt Strike
- Stored Power
- Substitute

Alright, I feel like I need to explain this guy a bit. This mixed set allows me to hit everything in UU extremely hard after a smash. After SR, literally the only thing this has no chance of an OHKO against is Quagsire. The key to this is to use V-Create sparingly, and not at all if it can be helped, because, if smashed, the 76 EVs in Speed allow it to out speed Scarf Mienshao. Substitute is my Sucker Punch counter.

142.gif

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Trait: Unnerve
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Slide
- Protect

This is my suicide lead in all it's glory. It can taunt anything that's not a prankster and doesn't speed tie (I always lose speed ties...). SR is a huge help in aiding the sweep, however, if they wind up spinning it away, don't fret, Vicitini is perfectly capable of sweeping without the SR, the SR simply opens up more options. Rock Slide is there primarily so it's not taunt bait, however, it can be effective in the right situations. Protect is to guard against Hi Jump Kick, and to extend the life of Aerodactyl, to reapply Taunt so Smeargle can come in w/o worry when Aerodactyl eventually faints.

034.gif

Nidoking @ Life Orb
Trait: Sheer Force
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Substitute
- Ice Beam
- Fire Blast

Sheer Force Life Orb is so much fun. Earth Power STAB decently covers most things that don't levitate or fly, and the Fire and Ice combo nicely covers most of the rest. I have been contemplating switching Fire Blast to Thunderbolt to better cover Water poke, but I'm not sold on it yet. Substitute here again is a counter to Sucker Punch, which I just seem to run into everywhere. He is also the only Shiny member of the team, because what self respecting male pokemon would want to be purple...;)

567.gif

Archeops @ Flying Gem
Trait: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 Def
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

My two primary sweepers DO NOT like ground, at all, so this guy is an option to switch into (or BP into) if I suspect an imminent EQ or Earth Power. I can immediately U-Turn into something else, or go with one of the STAB moves. 4 Def allows me to switch into SR twice w/o activating Defeatist. This is one of the poke that I am unsure on, and a poke I wouldn't mind switching out for one that better fields issues this team has.

482.gif

Azelf @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Ice Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Explosion
- U-turn

This poke is an alternate lead, if it is obvious that the Aerodactyl lead just isn't smart. Primarily, this set is used for U-Turn, with Ice Punch being there for a switch in against Flygon. Zen Headbutt is the physical STAB, with a chance for flinch that has come in handy a time or two. This guy is faster than a Swift Swim Kingdra, so when he comes in, Explosion is an option, and a fun one at that. However, much like the previous poke, I'm not sure he fits the team.

Threat List
184.gif

This guy can single handedly wreck this team. In this form, there is no way to deal with Priority Aqua Jet unless I manage to get up a Substitute on Victini before he comes in, or manage to Spore him, which is unlikely. In all truth, Aqua Jet is the bigger issue, this guy is just the hardest hitting AJ user.

330.gif

On rare occassion, I'm force to Spore BEFORE I smash, which allows this guy to come in while I smash and Fire off an EQ when I BP. in the current config I can go into Azelf or Archeops, but it still kills my main gameplan and warrants a spot on the Threat List.

Priority Moves other than AJ are also threatening, but typically won't OHKO Victini or NidoKing. I do not include Sucker Punch in this list, as if you know the users of Sucker Punch, you can typically predict it and Substitute accordingly.

Thank you for reading, and please comment with any suggestions regarding the team, as I'm not sold on the three poke that aren't part of what I consider the "core".

Hello SoundofMadness, I think you should replace Archeops with Blastoise because you 3 weaknesses to stealth rock and this would reduce one of them and give you a rapid spinner. It can also wall Azumarill pretty good.

Here is the set:
9.png

Blastoise @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic
- Scald

That's all I got Hope I helped =)

THe images are not coming up on my screen ( Scotti's did however). It would be better to place the name of the poke in the beginning, because I had to scroll through the article to find out your pokes

I think you'd find LO Shaymin better suited to the role of Nidoking. It resists ground, and it can OHKO almost everything in the tier after SR at +2, missing out on the OHKO on only Esca, Ferro, Zong, Lax, Umbreon and Registeel. Out of all of those, only Esca can claim to do anything to it, and is rarely seen in UU.

The set:
Shaymin @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA/ 252 Spe/ 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Seed Flare
- HP Ice
- Earth Power
- Synthesis

HP Ice was chosen over Psychic purely because Crobat dies to SR and +2 HP Ice anyway. HP Fire is also an option, but you lose out on OHKOs from Togekiss, Zapdos, and Xatu, all of which can do pretty hefty damage on you given that you're at -1 SpD. (You also can't OHKO Umbreon or Registeel, but again, they can't do jack shit.)

Also, I think you'd appreciate the services of a third, physical thing to pass to rather than your Archeops. Perhaps Mienshao could help. Here's the set I'm thinking of -

Mienshao @ Life Orb
Trait: Reckless (You're not going to be switching out much if you're being passed a boost, and this set lacks U-turn.)
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 SpD
Naughty Nature
- HJK
- Stone Edge
- HP Ice
- Substitute

This helps you a bit against special walls that you might otherwise have some trouble breaking through. Substitute is because the only things that can't be OHKOd by it after SR (Defensive Dusclops, Cofag, Weezing, Quag, Cress, Qwil, Amoonguss, Uxie, Slowbro, Slowking) can't really do much once Mienshao is behind a sub. (Exceptions being Slowbro/king, the rare Cress, and the rare OTR Cofag).

In terms of outside of the "core" of 3 (Or 4 if you add Shao), I think you might benefit from something like a Defensive Qwilfish. It can provide spike support for your sweepers, spread some paralysis so you can sweep outside of a Smash, and also sponge some physical hits. Given that your team is really built around the main smashpass core, the other pokes should be maximized in Utility and the ability to deal with the counters that your team otherwise has. I feel like scarf Azelf just isn't doing much for you other than perhaps exploding on some annoying threats, so yeah.

Overall, I like this team a lot, and you've definitely got some scary power. With some good predictions this team can be beaten, but on the ladder I can imagine it performs extraordinarily well. I think I'll take it for a spin myself ;)

Awesome job on the team, especially the Victini set. It made me a little happier than I should get over a Pokemon.

Oooh...totally forgot about Shaymin!

Will give that Mienshao a shot in NKs spot. I tried out Mienshao before, but as a scarf, not with an LO, so I might give that another go as well.

Thanks for the advice!

Here's my one bump in an attempt to get more feedback/comments. :)

I would like to thank everyone up to this point for their comments and suggestions! :)
