Smash Pass OU

I haven't played competitively since DPPt, so I'm still getting used to all the new things. I actually still don't even have XY yet. I'm hoping to get it soon though, so I made a rough draft of a team I've been thinking about. I tested it on Pokemon Showdown, and it's been doing decently so far.

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spe / -Atk)
- Spore
- Stealth Rock
- Shell Smash
- Baton Pass

Pretty straightforward. Smeargle is the default lead. The default first move is Spore if the opponent has no grass pokemon or espeon. If there's a grass pokemon, I will often set up stealth rocks and switch out (usually espeon).

250px-212Scizor.png

Scizor @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SpD
Adamant Nature (+Atk / -SpAtk)
-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit
-Roost
-U-turn

A bulky scizor that I switch into when my opponent has an espeon for my smeargle. I am thinking about switching scizor for metagross later and doing some testing with that. Access to Hammer Arm would be pretty cool, but I do really like U-turn.

250px-196Espeon.png

Espeon @ Light Clay
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe / -Atk)
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Psychic
-Baton Pass

Used for it's ability and as a dual screener. I've noticed that Ferrothorn is a common lead; espeon can switch into it and bounce hazards. If ferrothorn goes for power whip on the switch in, espeon can still live long enough to set up dual screens and switch out. I was also thinking about swapping Light Clay for Leftovers.

250px-149Dragonite.png

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature (+Atk / -SpAtk)
-Earthquake
-Outrage
-Fire Punch
-Stone Edge

My usual shell smash recipient. Multiscale allows dragonite to survive a switch into pretty much anything even with -1 defenses. Dragonite can then proceed to sweep. And even without shell smash, dragonite is amazing on its own. I was thinking about trying to fit roost in here somewhere, but I really like the variety of pokemon this moveset can take out.

250px-094Gengar.png

Gengar @ Gengarite
Ability: Levitate/Shadow Tag
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe / -Atk)
-Shadow Ball
-Sludge Bomb
-Focus Blast
-Destiny Bond

I was originally using Aegislash. Mega Gengar with a smash pass is too good to pass though. Not only does it have a ridiculous special attack stat, but its Shadow Tag is great for trapping and killing threats with Destiny Bond.

250px-468Togekiss.png

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ability: Serence Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe
Calm Nature (+SpD / -Atk)
-Air Slash
-Flamethrower
-Roost
-Thunder Wave

The dreaded para-flinching Togekiss. Not much to say. Pretty standard besides maybe the flamethrower. Flamethrower is there to get rid of pesky steel types like aegislash, klefki, skarmory, and ferrothorn. This has easily been one of the best players in my team during testing.

The first two things I'd point out at a glance is that you should be careful with Dragonite and Gengar as your recipients of Shell Smash. I'd definitely suggest using Dragon Claw over Outrage on your Dragonite, because locking yourself into Outrage with -1 Defenses is really risky. Hard hitting, common fairies like Mega Mawile and Azumarill can switch into that and either KO you or force you to switch, wasting your Smash buff in either scenario. +2 Dragon Claw on Adamant Dragonite is powerful enough anyway. Gengar is normally a common target for powerful priority moves, and with -1 Defenses that problem only becomes worse.

Hello.

Read the rules, your descriptions are too short. PM me a version of the RMT respecting the rules and I'll unlock this for you.
Have a nice day and welcome on Smogon.
