Smeargle Abuser - Random Team Mostly :)

This will be my 2nd post on Smogon, and I am super confused with these forums xD But, I would love for someone to help me make my team better :)
I battle with no real restrictions besides No Ubers / Hacks. I go up against mostly OU, and sometimes UU teams.

Team Consists of : Smeargle, Breloom, Medicham, Celebi, Walrein, and Seviper.

Smeargle:
Item: Salac Berry
Nature: Jolly
EV Spread: 252 Speed 120 Special Defense 132 Defense
Moves: Belly Drum, Baton Pass, Substitute, Spore

Smeargle is your standard Belly Drum Baton Passing Smeargle. He gets to pass to either Breloom or Medicham. Whoever is most appropriate.

Breloom:
Item: Fist Plate ( This needs changing )
Nature: Adamant
Ability : Effect Spore ( I need to remake this for Poison heal I believe! But thing is he is shiny :P )
EV Spread : 252 Attack, 252 Speed
Moves: Mach Punch, Seed Bomb, Stun Spore, Sky Uppercut

Breloom normally takes a Belly Drum pass, and then sweeps with Mach Punch ( I think that was self explainitory :P ) Could use more type coverage.

Walrein:
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Ice Body
EV Spread: 252 Health, 50 Defense 202 Special Defense.
Moves: Hail, Toxic, Protect, Substitute

This is your normal Stallrein. Just the fact I do not have an attacking move makes him take a very.. very long time to stall. He has major problems with Scizor. :P

Seviper:
Item: Choice Specs
Nature: Modest
Ability: Shed Skin
EV Spread: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed
Moves: Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Dark Pulse

I use this Seviper just as a choice. He is my favorite pokemon in game and I tried to make him viable :P. He is here to break common walls, besides Blissey. ( Noteably Probopass, Hypno, Grumpig, Fort, etc ) He has problems with Hypno and Grumpig as they will just Psychic him in the face ><.

Celebi:
Item: Big Root
Nature: Bold
Ability: Natural Cure
EV Spread : 252 Health, 252 Defense
Moves: Grass Knot, Recover, Leech Seed, Substitute

Your normal stall Celebi, has problems with Choice Scarf Typlosion.. And freaking Gengars. Big Root is simply because I love Leech Seed. I should probably use Leftovers on her though.

Medicham
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Pure Power
EV Spread: 252 Attack, 252 Speed
Moves: Ice Punch, Zen Headbutt, Thunder Punch, Hi Jump Kick

Medicham also can recieve the Belly Drum from Smeargle. If not, he is here to beat the snot out of Gyarados, and a few common things I tend to see. ( Blissey.... )

Major Threats:

GENGAR: I cannot get around these god dang things! I have major problems killing them, and they can kill me no problem.

Hippo: They just simply can stall my team for years, unless I get my Belly Drum Pass to Breloom. Then they are gone. I never have luck with Spore lasting more then 1 turn though >< That or my Seviper can 1 shot with Giga Drain if lucky. Just depends.

I would love some help. This is my 2nd Post on here. Still a bit confused with the way these forums work and all. Hope I followed all the guidelines, etc. :)

Thanks for reading!

-I Abuse Smeargles.

I'll start with Smeargle. Smeargle is actually a pretty cool lead, however, not with the current set you are using. Why? With all of the priority moves going around these days, it will be fairly difficult for your Smeargle to successfully pull of a Belly Drum pass. You will find that once you set up a Substitute, a Pokemon such as Scizor will come in and Bullet Punch you, breaking your Substitute, and forcing you to switch because Smeargle will die if it does not switch. Instead of your current set, try using Spikes, ExtremeSpeed, Spore, Endeavor, Focus Sash, 252 Atk/252 Spe/ 6 Def, Jolly. This is how this works. You first Spore the opposition and proceed to set up Spikes and Stealth Rock. Spore allows you to cripple slower leads like Swampert and Bronzong, and Metagross and guarantees at least one layer of Spikes and Stealth Rock will be set up. Focus Sash allows Smeargle survive any faster leads attacks, Spore them, and set up Spikes. Smeargle's poor defenses make Endeavor an excellent option. Since Smeargle will most likely be left at 1 HP by most attacks, you can Endeavor your opponent to bring them down to 1 HP, and then finish them off with ExtremeSpeed.

This Smeargle is best paired up with a Pokemon that can phaze to allow the build up of Spikes damage. Walrein seems very out of place on this team as the StallRein set of Walrein is best used on Hail Teams. You have Hail on Walrein, however, taking the time to set it up is when Walrein has better options, makes Hail a bad choice on the moveset. None of your other Pokemon benefit from Hail either. I would suggest replacing Walrein for another bulky Water-type that can use Stealth Rock, which is an excellent move to have in the current metagame. I suggest using Swampert in place of Walrein. Swampert is am excellent Pokemon being able to handle a multitude of threats. It can check Salamaence, counter Tyranitar and Heatran, in addition to providing SR support for your team. Swampert has excellent durability as well, allowing Swampert to survive for long periods of time. I suggest using Stealth Rock, Earthquake, Ice Beam, Roar, 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SpA, Relaxed, Leftovers. Stealth Rock is there to add to the residual damage with Smeargle's Spikes. Earthquake is for STAB and to hit Pokemon such as Lucario and Heatran super effectively. Ice Beam is mainly for Dragon-types such as Salamence while Roar is there to phaze away threats that may be giving you trouble and also helps to shuffle around your opponents team to build op Spikes damage.

Looking at the Major Threats section of your RMT, you mention having trouble dealing with Gengar, which I agree with since it can 2HKO/OHKO your entire team. I would suggest Scizor over Breloom. Breloom may be good on occasion thanks to Spore, however, Scizor will do much more for you then Breloom currently does. It gives you a Steel-type, which is a very useful aspect to have on a team due to the amount of Dragon-type attacks in OU. It gives you an excellent scout with U-turn while having great revenge killing powers with Bullet Punch. Scizor also works well with Swampert, as Swampert mainly attracts Celebi which Scizor can get rid of, while Scizor attracts Pokemon such as Heatran who Swampert can rid of. It also helps you fight against the Gengar you hate, as Scizor can Pursuit it or Bullet Punch it to death. I suggest using Bullet Punch, U-turn, Superpower, Pursuit, Choice Band, 248 HP, 252 ATk, 8 Spe Adamant. Bullet Punch is for revenge killing and cleaning up late game in addition to giving Scizor a STAB move. Superpower allows Scizor to hit Pokemon such as Magnezone and Heatran while U-turn allows Scizor to scout for their Scizor counter as you go to your own. Pursuit allows Scizor to trap Ghost-types such as Gengar in addition to Pokemon such as Cresselia and Celebi.

You mentioned having trouble with Hippowdon in your Major Threat section of your RMT. You can handle it with Celebi with Grass Knot, which will kill Hippowdon easily. If you do decide to use the above changes, you can handle Hippowdon with Swampert and the residual damage from Spikes set up by Smeargle, which will mak it easier for another one of your Pokemon to kill it. Medicham also hurts Hippowdon pretty badly. Ice Punch vs. max HP / Def Hippowdon does 50.48% - 59.52%, which means you have a pretty good chance to 2HKO. Lastly, if you are having trouble getting used to the forums, look at this FAQ. It will give you some general information about the forums. Over time you will get used to these forums, so do not worry about it.

Thanks a ton for the response :)

I have 2 seperate Smeargles actually xD Both of whom are shiny.

1 is Endeavor / Endure / Spore / Extreme Speed, and the other is the Smeargle I just showed you :)

Yeah. Stallrein is out there. I need to make a viable hail team. But they are hard to make work :(

I actually am making a Vaporeon with the moveset Wish / Protect / Toxic / Surf as a Bulky water ;) Which might take the place of Swampert fine :)

I will have to get a Scizor for Gengar Killing :O It seems perfect :)

Thank you so much! :D
