[SET COMMENTS]
Sneasel is a very effective revenge killer and late-game cleaner thanks to its blazing fast Speed, powerful STAB attacks, and perfect coverage allowing it to do large amounts of damage to just about every Pokemon in the RU tier. Low Kick nails Steelix, Silvally-Steel, and Snorlax, easily 2HKOing the latter two. Inner Focus is chosen as the ability to prevent flinches Sneasel and Intimidate drops. Heavy-Duty Boots is an option to mitigate Sneasel's weakness to entry hazards, giving it a bit more longevity and the ability to use Swords Dance. Heavy-Duty Boots also has the benefit of ignoring Sticky Web, allowing Sneasel to consistently revenge kill foes like Alolan Raichu and Indeedee if webs are up; however, it is worth noting that the huge drop in power while using Heavy-Duty Boots generally isn't worth it. If using Heavy-Duty Boots, Swords Dance can be used over Ice Shard or Low Kick to turn Sneasel into a powerful wallbreaker and late-game sweeper. A Jolly nature is chosen in order to give Sneasel the jump on foes like Virizion, Galvantula, and Alolan Raichu.
Sneasel is best used on offensive teams to help teammates by weakening the opposition and removing items with Knock Off. Psychic-type partners like Indeedee enjoy Sneasel luring in and weakening or KOing Steel-types like Steelix and Copperajah, whereas offensive Fire-type teammates like Salazzle and Charizard appreciate Sneasel removing items from Water-type foes and Snorlax, and can provide respite from opposing Fire- and Steel-type attacks. Fairy-type teammates such as Whimsicott and Silvally-Fairy appreciate Sneasel weakening Steel- and Fire-type foes, and help Sneasel in return by providing a switch-in to Fighting-types. Sneasel's abysmal bulk means it also greatly appreciates pivots to help it get on the field safely; Rillaboom and Passimian draw in Pokemon susceptible to Sneasel's attacks such as Vileplume, Decidueye, and Xatu, and pivot on them with U-turn. Choice Scarf variants of these two Pokemon also appreciate Sneasel's wallbreaking power to help them clean late game. Xatu and Vikavolt give Sneasel slow pivots and a much needed switch-in to Fighting-type attacks. Xatu also provides support in the form of hazard control, keeping Stealth Rock off the field to help increase Sneasel's longevity. Vikavolt, on the other hand, can provide Sticky Web support, allowing Sneasel to outpace almost the entire tier. Charizard is an especially good partner, as it helps Sneasel with Fairy- and Steel-type foes capable of switching into its attacks as well as Fire-types looking to take advantage of Choice-locked Ice-type attacks while also providing a resistance to Fighting. Charizard also comes with Defog, which helps with Sneasel's crippling Stealth Rock weakness.
