[Overview]
- Bulky and strong
- Doesn't like the common physical attackers
- Functions similarly to last generation, except a tier lower

- Just like last gen
- Curse up, Rest, sweep
- Good bulk lets it switch into plenty of special attackers such as Zapdos
- A check to Fighting-types such as Heracross is reccommended (hint: Golurk, Nidoqueen)
- Earthquake helps hit Steel-types, but you're helpless against levitating Ghosts. Crunch hits Ghosts hard, but not much else. Fire Punch is good for middle ground, although it is weaker than Earthquake and leaves you a sitting duck for threats such as Rhyperior.
- EVs optimize bulk; a more offensive EV spread is viable.

- Sponge that can also dish out hits, harder than you'd expect.
- Leftovers allows Snorlax to generally last longer and switch moves. Choice Band grants a whopping 50% power boost, but does not provide the benefits that the aforementioned Leftovers do.
- Makes a good Ghost-type trapper as long as they don't carry Will-O-Wisp.
- Moves are the best Snorlax has in his arsenal now that Selfdestruct is nearly useless. Fire Punch helps against several threats such as Ferroseed and Escavalier.
- EVs maximize offensive power, with the remaining EVs going into bulk rather than speed to take hits as well as possible.
- Immunity is an option if your team is very susceptible to Toxic Spikes or SubRoost Zapdos, but Thick Fat is more commonly useful.

- Sucks
- Heysup got to #4 with it on the ladder
- Reliable recovery for good old Snorlax
- Spreads paralysis and phazes at the same time
- EVs can be played around with
- Entry hazards reccommended
- Use something to take Fighting-type attacks. Again, Golurk and Nidoqueen are good.
