so some guy on shoddy made me a team

Yes, I'm new to competitive pokemon, but I have played many other games competitively and I want to learn this one.

He made the team based around electivire, to counter it's weaknesses. What I would appreciate is for someone to confirm it's a decent team, and give me the basics on what counters what (i'm guessing what you guys call a threat list?) . I would really appreciate it.

a few explanations would be nice as it really would help the raters do their job, plus it gives us a greater insight to your team.
Overall the team looks like it would function, but it would suffer some real difficulties. I also have to wonder what kind of set that is on Tyranitar. lol

Please note what I said in the 2nd paragraph

I wrote that I needed help with how to use the team, and what it's weaknesses are. What difficulties are you talking about?

Seriously, it helps if you explain what each individual pokemon does. Since your strategy is to remove Electivire's counters then go for a vire sweep, explain how each pokemon removes whichever counters it does.

It's a lot easier to rate when you explain what each Pokemon does, why you chose it etc. There's no excuse for not clicking the READ ME threads.
