Para informar nossa comunidade sobre o que aconteceu com a PTSL — torneio que havia gerado expectativa entre os usuários — e o que vai acontecer daqui em diante:
Esse torneio foi planejado com antecedência, com a ideia de usar o terceiro Custom Avatar que a sala possui para nossos eventos. A proposta foi apresentada aos admins da Smogon responsáveis por aprovar os CAs de todas as salas, e o torneio foi aprovado pelo ken. A partir daí, a equipe do torneio começou a organizar tudo. Após publicarmos o thread de Commencement e de inscrições de capitães, recebemos uma mensagem de outro PS Admin dizendo que estávamos divulgando um avatar que não havia sido aprovado e que a PTSL não teria o Custom Avatar. Sem qualquer contato prévio conosco, recebemos um comunicado em um canal privado informando que o torneio não receberia o avatar — sem pedido de desculpas e passando a impressão de que ele nunca havia sido aprovado, o que não é verdade. Depois de conversarmos com o Ken e pedirmos explicações, ele reconheceu o erro, explicando que acreditou estar tudo certo em aprovar o torneio, mas que, após termos publicado o thread, “alguém” questionou a aprovação, o que levou à mudança de decisão.
A sala entende os motivos pelos quais o torneio acabou sendo desaprovado, mas não concorda com a forma como a situação foi conduzida, que consideramos desrespeitosa com os ROs e com a comunidade PT/BR. É importante deixar claro que já conversamos com o Ken, tudo foi resolvido e esperamos que não haja mais problemas desse tipo no futuro. Todo ficou em bons termos.
Para os interessados no torneio: a PTSL, no formato apresentado neste thread, foi CANCELADA, mas haverá um novo torneio, com outro formato (talvez com o mesmo nome), em seu lugar. O formato será decidido no server de Torneios PT.

After we published the Commencement and Captain Signups threads, we received a message from another PS Admin saying that we were advertising an avatar that hadn’t been approved and that the PTSL would not have the Custom Avatar. Without speaking to us beforehand, we received a notice in a private channel stating that the tournament would not receive the avatar — with no apology and making it seem as though it had never been approved, which it had. After talking to Ken and asking for an explanation, he acknowledged his mistake, explaining that he thought it was fine to approve the tournament, but that after we posted the threads, “someone” questioned why it had been approved, which led to a change in their decision.
The room understands the reasons why the tournament was later disapproved, but we don’t agree with the way the situation was handled, which we consider disrespectful toward the ROs and the PT/BR community. It’s important to make clear that we’ve already spoken with Ken, everything has been resolved, and we hope that issues like this won’t happen again in the future. Everything is in good terms now.
