Hello this is my first post, ever, so please excuse errors or if I right something in the wrong format. This is my team I use in X and Y flat doubles (Attempting for a spot at top 100 doubles in Global Link ... even if its a few years away). I think I built this team the right way but feel it has some "kinks" to fix.
Gardevoir(F)@ Choice Scarf l Synchronize
Modest nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spe, and 4HP
-Focus Blast
-Shadow Ball
-Moonblast
-Psychic
At first the item was choice specs but I realized she was out ran by pokemon like Garchomp who I wanted her to OHKO. Thats where Choice scarf comes in, letting her run circles around unscarfed pokemon. Focus blast(help me get rid of this...that accuracy...) and shadow ball are still great coverage. Moonblast lets her become a dragon slayer. Last but not least Psychic is a very nice STAB to hit poisons with .Something I noticed was that she can't seem to OHKO much of anything w/o a super effective hit, mostly 2HKOs. EVs are simple max damage and speed with 4 in HP. Synchronize is very nice since I can throw status back(mainly paralysis) to things like Klefki.
Blastoise(M)@Blastoisinite l Torrent -> Mega Launcher
Modest nature
EVs: 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spe, and 4 HP
-Ice Beam
-Protect
-Water Pulse
-Dark Pulse
Same thing as Gardevoir in EVs and nature, but Mega Launcher just adds that extra power to take things down with ease. ice beam shoots down flying type along with dragons and grounds. Water Pulse is a strong STAB that hits like a run away truck in the rain. Dark Pulse provides coverage and a nice chance to flinch things. Protect is there to scout/keep Blastoise alive in doubles. Thing with him is his speed, even with 252 invested in speed... well he is a turtle after all.
Klefki(F)@Light Clay l Prankster
Relaxed nature
EVs: 252 Sp.Def, 252 Def, and 4 HP
-Light Screen
-Reflect
-Foul Play
-Thunder Wave
This keychain is my team supporter Light Screen and Reflect add light clay in the mix and they last pretty much the whole match. The EVs go with the the reflect screen combo which let it survive a super effective attack provided the right wall was up. Thunder Wave is there to cripple things (sweepers). Foul Player is here to punish people that think a strong physical attacker takes down Klefki.
Azumarill(F)@Choice Band l Huge Power
Adamant nature
EVs: 252 Atk, 4 Def, 4 Sp. Def, and 248 HP
-Aqua Jet
-Play Rough
-Superpower
-Aqua Tail/ Waterfall
This girl plays rough. Aqua jet can 2HKO all most anything that doesn't resist it, Play Rough makes her a dragon slayer, Superpower for steels(that are grass types), and the last slot is for either Aqua tail or Waterfall since I don't use either much mainly Aqua Jet since its so good and it's priority.
Rotom-W@Leftovers l Levitate
Modest Nature
EVs: 240 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 16 Spe
-Thunderbolt
-Hydro Pump
-Hex
-Will-O-Wisp
Rotom is my (generic)wall that hits back with Thunderbolt and Hydro Pump as STAB. Hex is here since something is statused by the time Rotom hits the battle field. Will-O-Wisp is there to make Hex stronger against Pokemon like Quagsire that munch Thunderbolt and Hydropump.
Mamoswine(M)@Life Orb l Snow Cloak
Adamant Nature
EVs: 4HP, 252 Atk, and 252 Spe
-Ice Shard
-Earthquake
-Icicle Crash
-Stone Edge
My second pyshical attaker and another dragon slayer. Ice Shard is awesome taking down everything 4x weak to it. Earthquake is a STAB that helps Azumarill and Blastoise against electric types. Icicle Crash is for pokemon Ice Shard can't OHKO. Lastly Stone Edge is for simple coverage.
That's all there is to my team. If you're still reading please give me some advice on pokemon to switch/better moves/ better items ect. Something to note is that I am currently breeding another Blastoise as I realized he had little IVs in HP/Def/Sp.Def (No wonder he dies ._.). Thank you for reading til the end or for some skipping to the end lol
