So, I've been here on Smogon for about a day now, and I must say, I do love it, it's a great community. However, there are a few things that I think Smogon could have that would improve it's site even further.
1.) Chat room
Not too much to ask for, and it's easy access to trade or battle, I know Serebii already has one, but it would be nice for Smogon to have one too.
2.) Smoother Layout
Smogon's layout design is very...how do I say this?
It's....bland, I think a slicker, layout with banners for every section, and smoother, gradient-filled boxes for messages and whatnot would be great.
3.) Changeable Profiles
The Profiles are nice, they just are a little awkward, and I think it would be really cool if we could change out profile layout how we wanted, for example, being able to drag what boxes go where. Let's say I wanted my visitor messages on the right of my profile rather than the bottom, and I wanted my Mini Statistics on the bottom, where my visitor messages was.
A good example of site that does this is YouTube.
Those are just some thoughtful ideas on how to make this site a little better than it already is.
