SS OU Some whacky OU team

Hello everyone, this is my first time making an actual OU team, im better at lower tiers do to fewer options but with the dex cuts it actually makes it easier for me to make teams at the higher tiers, anyways here is a team I made to be a sort of "script" for a team that I'll actually be building in SS, this isn't exactly a team made for showdown but It would help to know your opinions. Sorry if some of the things I say about the pokemon are obvious, redundant or ineccesarily long, I'm required by forum rules to write 3 lines per pokemon

Gyarados (M) @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance

First up is gyarados, this is supposed to be my main dynamax pokemon, it hits decently hard and can set up rain for dracovish to sweep mid game, I also use gyarados mid game, it doesn't do to well early or late game. It can very easily switch in with its resistances and intimidate and threaten with dragon dance into dynamax. As for the moves I mainly took into account dynamax effects, it doesnt have ice or grass coverage due to not wanting to swap rain for hail or give the opponent recovery.

Aegislash (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
- King's Shield
- Toxic
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon

Next is Aegislash, initialy I wanted a physical sweeper but then I realized that I needed something that could use toxic and Aegislash fits that role surpisingly well, kings shield and toxic are basic stall moves, for recovery and longevity, I choose a special set because it catches most people off guard and hits pretty decent with super effective moves, the only problems are that it doesn't hit that hard and blade and shield mechanics can make it exploitable, especcialy when using kings shield

Dragapult (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Psychic Fangs
- U-turn
- Bite

Next is Dragapult, I chose a physical scarf set because I needed an answer to opposing Dragapult, it has max speed and a choice scarf to outspeed, I choose a physical set so I would not have to rely on draco meteors acurracy, I checked on damage calculators and dragon darts is a sure knochout agains non defensive Dagapults, psychic fangs is for basic coverage and u turn makes it my main lead, I sadly had to put bite on in due to lack of coverage moves

Corviknight (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Careful Nature
- Defog
- U-turn
- Body Press
- Iron Head

Next is Corvinight, this is surprisingly the hardest pokemon to pick and use well on my team, it has moveslot sindrome and can often fail to have an important move. Nonetheless, it still provides great defenses with its amazing typing and bulk, it has defog and uturn to get rid of hazards and swap out, the last moves are hard to choose, with options ranging from roost, bult up, brave bird, drill peck, power trip and the eventual body press and iron head. I carry iron head as it's main stab and body press as a coverage move. I still don't know how much value it has so I'm considering swapping it for Excadrill

Dracovish @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fishious Rend
- Psychic Fangs
- Crunch
- Outrage

Now it's time for the main two that make my team up, I choose choiced dracovish because it hits really hard and is easy to fit on a team as a solo sweeper, with scarf and max speed it can outspeed oposing Dracovish and one shot them with outrage, it's even more outrageous (pun intended) under gyarados rain, crunch is basic coverage, psychic fangs I carry for toxapex and outrage is a good dragon killer, it does very well as a mid-late game sweeper even without setup, there really isn't much that can outspeed it and even if they live and get a hit off, Dracovish has reasonable bulk.

Hydreigon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon
- Superpower

I choose Hydreigon because I love it and want it on my team, it hits really hard with draco meteor, dark pulse is standard coverage, i carry flash cannon for fairies and chose superpower over flamethrower so i could hit normal types as well, its life orb boots its power even more, the problem is residual damage, steal rocks and self damage can really add up and lower hydreigon to where neutral attacks can take it down.

Ok hi! I have a few suggestions for this team.
Gyarados (M) @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
This is missing Airstream, and Dynamax is banned in OU, so this needs some adjustments. I'll give two sets, one for use in-game as you say with Dyna, and one that actually works on Showdown.
Suddenly, Dynamax! (Gyarados) @ Life Orb (massive damage up, and Dyna halves damage)
Ability: Moxie (Allows Gyara to snowball, getting more boosts the more damage it does)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Aqua Tail (Maximium Max Geyser power)
- Power Whip (Invalidates Gyara's checks)
- Bounce (Gives you Max Airstream to boost up your speed and win)
Who needs Dynamax? (Gyarados) @ Heavy-Duty Boots (Allows Gyara to switch in and out of Rocks without punishment)
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall (That 20% flinch and 100% Accuracy)
- Power Whip
- Earthquake (Best coverage option)

Aegislash (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk
- King's Shield
- Toxic
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
This is the set you are looking for:
Aegislash @ Leftovers
Quiet Nature
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
- Substitute
- Toxic
- King's Shield
- Shadow Ball
It is nothing short of evil. Have fun.

Dragapult (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Psychic Fangs
- U-turn
- Bite
Choice Scarf Dragapult and non-Dragon Dance physical Pult are both bad sets. Put them together... And this really doesn't work. Considering you already have a strong Ghost and two strong Dragons, it would be stacking too many weaknesses for this team to work defensively to run any Dragapult set here instead. So try:
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed/Knock Off
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Gyro Ball
Ferrothorn gives your team some much-needed defensive synergy and access to Stealth Rock to wear your opponents down. It works especially well in conjunction with Gyara, switching into both its weaknesses while Gyara switches into Ferro's. Leech Seed is Ferro's best form of recovery and lets it wear opposing walls down. Knock Off cripples things in front of it by getting rid of their items. Thunder Wave slows down the opposing team so LORD VISH and Hydreigon can claim more kills. Gyro Ball is Ferro's strongest attack and punishes anything trying to set up in for heavy damage. In case you want to use Dragapult on a future team, try one of these sets instead:
Dragapult (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Spa (or 8 HP / 248 Atk / 252 Spe)
Adamant/Hasty Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Darts
- Fire Blast/Phantom Force
- Steel Wing

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 8 HP / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Fire Blast
- U-turn

Corviknight (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Careful Nature
- Defog
- U-turn
- Body Press
- Iron Head
Corviknight @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Roost
- Defog
- U-turn
- Body Press
Roost on Corv is nothing short of mandatory. It gives it incredible longevity and combines with Pressure and Leftovers to PP stall many moves that should 2HKO or 3HKO it. This set also shows another benefit of running Ferro, as it frees up Corv from having to run Iron Head, while also giving Corv the freedom to run specially defensive sets that give your team a strong backbone.
Hydreigon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon
- Superpower
Finally, the mighty Hydreigon. Superpower is a nice idea, but why bother with mixed coverage when you can boost up and annihilate half th game in one go?
Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Nasty Plot
Fire Blast so Steels cannot escape your wrath, and you have 3 solid Fairy switch-ins anyway. Nasty Plot lets you do things like this:
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Toxapex: 395-465 (129.9 - 152.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Corviknight: 486-572 (121.5 - 143%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Seismitoad: 417-491 (100.7 - 118.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Rotom-Wash: 312-368 (102.9 - 121.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Shuckle: 255-302 (104.9 - 124.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO (Shuckle is not a good Pokemon, but I hope this puts into perspective just how hard this hits!)
Enjoy!
