So here's a team I recently made on Showdown. I've played with it a bit, and I've won and lost a few rounds. However, I do feel I can make some improvments, so I'd like to see what I can improve on.
You're a Star (Starmie) @ LeftoversAbility: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 10 Def / 232 SAtk / 14 SDef
Bold Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Psychic
- Surf
- Recover
This is mostly my Rapid Spinner, and it has some other moves to try and counter others. I would've given it a scarf to take out stronger enemies, as Starmie doesn't have the best of speed, but I'd rather just use it as a spinner which is mostly just suicide, or trying to deal out some small damage. That's really all this thing does.
Robit (Porygon-Z) @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Tri Attack
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
My strong attacker, and my scout lead. I use this thing to pretty much just see what's happening, and then I try and Tri Attack or Dark Pulse depending on the typing to deal off some damage. I do Nasty Plot if I can fit it in, but I usually don't do that seeing how weak Porygon-Z is.
New Fairy (Togekiss) @ Sky Plate
Ability: Serene Grace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 216 SDef / 248 HP / 44 Spd
Calm Nature
- Roost
- Air Slash
- Nasty Plot
- Thunder Wave
Mostly just a staller, this thing usually doesn't last long against stronger Pokes. I do try to get off Thunder Waves, and either stay in and stall it with Air Slashes / Nasty Plots, and then if I take enough damage go for Roost, or just switch out to something more powerful. I have gotten lucky with Parahax, so this thing does work on my team, but I don't know if I should get rid of it or not.
Jaws Of Life (Mawile) @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Fire Fang
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute
When I use this thing, I mostly just pray that I can get subs up. That's basically the whole point of me even having it on this set, because it allows M-Mawile to take some hits and in return deal out some nice damage. Fire Fang is there to deal with other M-Mawiles or Klefkis, and Aegislashes are usually what this thing eats for breakfast. (King's Shield? Hah, Sucker Punch.)
Baggy Saggy (Scrafty) @ Leftovers
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 20 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Drain Punch
- Crunch
Mostly the same thing as Mawile, this thing requires me to set up a Sub to get it to start working well. This usually works out well in conjunction with Togekiss, because I can easily set up Dragon Dances and then just Drain Punch or Crunch anything in my path. I chose DD over Swords Dance because the speed over +2 attack helps much more, and Moxie already fills in the gap that Swords Dance would fill.
Multi-King (Cloyster) @ King's Rock
Ability: Skill Link
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 250 Atk / 22 SDef / 232 Spd
Serious Nature
- Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Razor Shell
- Hidden Power [Psychic]
I'm thinking of replacing this Cloyster with something else, because what I used to have in mind usually doesn't work. My main idea with this set was to just set up Shell Smash-es and just Icicle Spear, but I've not gotten far with this thing. It's mostly just suicide lead, so it's a good scout. Poor Cloyster and it's pitifully weak SpD.
So any ideas on what to replace, what to fix, etc etc?
