SongTrap

Hello Smogon I have probably my last OU Team because OU is crazy easy >.>

The goal of the team is to Perish Song the enemies and then use Trapinch/Dugtrio/Probopass to trap the enemies into there own death.

Politoed @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP | 4 SpA | 252 SpD
Moveset:
-Perish Song
-Hydro Pimp
-Ice Beam
-Hidden Power Grass

My first Perish Songer. Her job is to get rain up for HydraRest Lapras to work and to halve Fire damage that could harm Probopass. Politoed is obviously a Special Wall if you saw the EV spread properly. Politoed draws in Electric attacks that Trapinch and Dugtrio are immune to. Hydro Pump over Scald because I'm not a big fan of the lower damage it will deal and Conkeldurr can take that burn and Mach Punch my face. Ice Beam will obviously kill off Dragons and Genies floating around being gay. Hidden Power Grass kills off Gastrodons and Quagsires. Politoed is kind of a staple on this team. He dies to residual most of the time.

Lapras @ Leftovers
Trait: Hydration
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP | 216 Def | 40 SpA
Moveset:
-Ice Beam
-Scald
-Rest
-Perish Song

Lapras is my second Perish Songer and most useful. Lapras with Hydration + Rest is really good in the rain especially with the TrapSong strategy I'm using right now. She is intended to physically wall and use Perish Song on these fools. The EVs spread around physical bulk and a bit of Special Attacking. Scald will burn physical threats and prevent them from continuing, well except if they have a Heal Beller/Lum Berry. Ice Beam is how we do it killing Dragons and Genies.

Trapinch @ Focus Sash
Trait: Arena Trap
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 HP | 4 Def | 252 Spe
Moveset:
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Endure
-Protect

Trapinch is one of my Trappers and he does it well. The Sash allows me an easy live for one turn and drop that Perish count. He is Taunt bait having no attacks but why would I Perish Song a Taunter? With RestTalk I can score an Endure or Protect but if I hit Rest and don't have my Sash I'm pretty much done at that point. Endure + Protect is such a troll thing to do because I'm unkillable.

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Trait: Arena Trap
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP | 252 Atk | 252 Spe
Moveset:
-Dig
-Reversal
-Stealth Rocks
-Protect

Dugtrio is my second trapper and is pretty lulzy. He just laughs at everything. Focus Sash for survivability. EVs + Nature are simple really fast kinda deadly. Dig stalls me a turn and fits with Dugtrio. Reversal nets some nice KOes. Stealth r0x because I know somebody was going to say "lol n00b ur team needs teh stelth roks." Protect nets me another free turn.

Probopass @ Air Balloon
Trait: Magnet Pull
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 220 HP | 48 Atk | 252 SpD
Moveset:
-Gyro Ball
-Taunt
-Rock Slide
-Protect

Probopass is my third trapper and works specifically with Steels just because Skarm can escape from Trapinch and Dugtrio which is geh. EVs are for that special bulk that is always fun. Air Balloon is so they can't EQ me and auto-kill. Taunt will stop a potential Baton Pass or a setup sweeper that can OHKO me after that plus. Gyro Ball will take a nasty chunk out of any fast Poké. Rock Slide will hurt non-Steels that switch out after the Perish Song because they're paranoid. Protect gives me another turn of Perish Song count.

Murkrow @ Eviolite
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP | 36 Def | 216 SpD
Moveset:
-Perish Song
-Mean Look
-Substitute
-Roost

Murkrow is my third Perish Songer and another trapper. Murkrow is only here to get the Foiers that don't have the Steel typing and the Levitators that aren't named Bronzong. Perish Song is obvious for this so they die. Mean Look traps everything that doesn't have a pseudo-switching move. Substitute brings another turn to the table without Hatz dying. Roost restores some of Murkrows health so he doesn't die.

It's real gimmicky but fun to use i guess? it won't get you anywhere, especially when they figure out your strategy and as soon as you perish song, they will eventually anticipate the switch to a trapper and switch themselves... However, i got a few suggestions which could be fun...
>Prankster eviolite Murkrow with mean look, perish song, feather dance, roost (not sure on EV's but all defensive). Try it out, its god of perish song
>Also a couple of fast destiny bond pokes might do well too? like gengar, to mix it up a bit.

You could quasi-trap with Pursuit users like Tyranitar or Scizor. This could be especially useful against levitators, (I'm looking at you Gengar). As of now, your team has trouble with aforementioned levitators, and along those lines, Flying-types as well. Giving Dugtrio Pursuit could go to remedy this in some capacity, but I strongly suggest another Pursuit user, especially Tyranitar, as he can hit fliers with a powerful Stone Edge too.
