Hello, guys! I'm Shiny Platinum and I am going to post a RMT. This is an OU Team and I need some tips for it.
Soul Reaper (Gengar) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
I use this to stop the almost banned Mega Mawile. It attracts Sucker Punch and uses Substitute and then uses Will-o-Wisp on the next possible Sucker Punch. It can really break physical attackers' momentum while being able to dish out some decent damage with Shadow Ball-- the STAB move, while Pain Split is just pain split.
Dargon! (Tyranitar) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 60 Atk / 216 SpA / 232 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
I wanted to somehow balance the offenses, and I decided this is the way to go. Stealth Rock for Charizard and other mons weak to stealth rock (also, it's stealth rock lol). Pursuit can pursuit trap Latias/Latios and hit them really hard. Stone edge is STAB and hits lots of things hard, while Fire Blast hits Scizor, Ferrothorn, Skarmory and the uncommon Forretress.
McCloud (Thundurus) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 56 Atk / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Superpower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
This is McCloud and it likes to priority thunder wave things all day. It'll outspeed adamant Talonflame and OHKO and hit other mons that are weak to t-bolt/lowered in HP will usually get KO'd. Superpower hits Heatran and Tyranitar like a truck, and with some added attack it can deal more damage.
Man ol' Swine (Mamoswine) @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off
- Icicle Crash
This Pokemon brings offensive pressure to the table. Being able to outspeed and OHKO Gliscor really helps (252 Atk Life Orb Mamoswine Icicle Crash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gliscor: 442-530 (124.8 - 149.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO). It can live Garchomp's hit and Landorus' and strike back with Icicile Crash. Earthquake hits Heatran, TTar and is STAB. Knock Off hits Espeon, Alakazam and gets rid of the opponent's item.
Jump Man (Breloom) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Tomb
The powerhouse -- nuff said. Just kidding, lol. This Pokemon hits like a truck with Choice Band (testing this). Mach Punch + STAB + Technician + Choice Band is really strong. Drain Punch can give me recovery while still hitting hard. Rock Tomb can hit flying types on the switch and it is usually an OHKO on most flying types.
Hmmm 24? (Quagsire) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Lax Nature
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Toxic
- Scald
My final Pokemon-- It is the big wall of the team and can stall out with Toxic + recover. Having access to good STABs allows this to fight even better. Scald for burning Pokemon and Earthquake hits things like steel types.
Thanks for reading!
