Again, this is for Soul Silver version Battle Tower.
My last BT Team didn't work out so well (Swampert, Scizor, Kingdra)
So i'm working on a new one. I havn't turned to breeding/training yet so any suggestions are welcome. (Tyranitar is at lv 100 though)

I come to here for in-game advice because it is far different from OU competitive shoddy, and I realise that some Smogon set advice might be unrealistic in-game.

This is an overveiw of initial coverage.

So lets begin with

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Adamant
12 HP / 252 Atk / 244 Spe
Spore
Substitute
Seed Bomb
Focus Punch

I think I'll lead with Breloom to begin with.
He can scout, absorb status and put everything to sleep. Also he is a great physical attacker. I chose him to compliment Tyranitar and Zapdos in way of type resistance. I know he is not a "wall" to some of their weaknesses, but he certainly can revenge kill. If perhaps a different pokemon would work much better in his place, then suggest away. He only shares an Ice weakness with Zapdos.
(And both of them are quite capable at handling that weakness.)

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Modest
Undecided EVs
Thunder Bolt
Heatwave
Signal Beam
Roost?

Zapdos is my special attacker. Heatwave is to cover the bothersome bug/grass/steels that hurt Tyranitar. I chose Signal Beam to cover the grass/psychic/darks. (Psychic coverage was the main deciding factor so that he can watch Breloom's back when facing fast Psychics)
Should he carry Extrasensory to kill fighting types for Tyranitar?

I 'm not sure on the Fourth slot where Roost is. Is there a move that would offer more coverage in it's place? I know this depends partly on how defensive this zapdos is. Frankly, I can't decide. If he were purely offensive then how could he switch into dangerous attacks? But if he is defensive will he be able to remove the threats in the first place?
Which is why the EVs are giving me trouble. Suggestions are very welcome.

Tyranitar @ ???
Adamant
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 hp
Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
Crunch
Earthquake/Aqua Tail?

This is my physical sweeper. I realise the EVs are redundant, especially in-game. I only now realise this. But he has perfect speed and attack IVs, so i'm not in a hurry to rebreed him over such a small matter.
I'm not sure what item to give him. Life Orb is the first thing to come to mind, but how will his survivability fare?
And would Aqua Tail do a better job of covering his team-mates rather than Earthquake? I'm very fond of EQ's coverage. Any thoughts?

Tyranitar should be Jolly instead of Adamant, and I would pick Earthquake for the last moveslot, although Aqua Tail, Low Kick, and Fire Punch are also viable options.

You could use the physically or specially defensive Zapdos variants found here. And for the record, Air Cutter, while missing 5% accuracy, hits Fighting types harder than Extrasensory.

The team looks pretty good overall, I guess the easiest way to find any major flaws would be to test it. I have Pokésav, but I don't know what your view on legal hacks is...
