Spartans,HOLD!

Hello everyone! This is my first RMT,and I would love to share this team I made.
The moves and stats are taken from smogon suggestions, but wait. The pokemon are handpicked by me,and they are far superior, thus being named the spartans.

Amoonguss @ Leftovers
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 56 SAtk / 200 Def
Bold Nature
- Spore
- Clear Smog
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]

This is my favourite moveset! Spore can easily put slow but strong pokemon (Like Absol) to sleep.Clear Smog eliminates all boosted stats of the enemy. It is pretty good for swords dance users,as they may just sweep through your whole team.Giga Drain and Hidden Power Fire are just its basic attacking moves to speed up the winning of the battle.

Mandibuzz.png

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Big Pecks
EVs: 8 Def / 248 HP / 252 SDef
Careful Nature
- Taunt
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird

Next up we have the specially defensive team member. It has very high special defense and can wall a hard hitting move. Taunting can prevent the opponent from using status moves, and roost to get back 50% health.Whirlwind can switch out some substitute or stalling pokemon.

467Magmortar.png

Magmortar @ Life Orb
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SAtk / 24 HP / 232 Spd
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Substitute

Next up we have the destroyer of tanks (I had to say this,anti-tank weapon xD).Having a huge coverage and movepool, this pokemon can annihilate all of the tanks and other pokemon also.Substitute allows the user to survive an attack from the opponent, and then hit the enemy back, which is great.

150px-221Piloswine.png

Piloswine @ Eviolite
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Stealth Rock

Fourth,we have Piloswine. This frightful beast is to be feared by many RU pokemon. Ice shard finishes off weak pokemon, and both earthquake and icicle crash are really strong STAB moves. Setting up Stealth Rocks can lower the opponent's health to reasonable amounts, especially when moltres comes into play on the enemy's field.

accelgor.jpg

Accelgor @ Focus Sash
Trait: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 Spd / 4 SAtk / 252 HP
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Final Gambit
- Bug Buzz
- Focus Blast

The main lead for the team. We can set up two layers of spikes here,as its speed outpaces most of the pokemon in the RU tier. (Unless they have Choice Scarf) Focus sash aids in setting up the spikes. At a HP level of 364, Final Gambit literally kills all the pokemon. Bug Buzz and Focus Blast can easily finish off Aggron and some grass and dark types like Absol and Tangela.

82-frame1.png

Magneton @ Eviolite
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SAtk / 100 Spd / 156 HP
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Charge Beam

Finally,we have Magneton. It traps steel types like Aggron and Durant. Having access to Charge Beam, Thunderbolt and Hidden Power Fire, the steel types will be collapsing soon. Eviolite lifts this robot's defense and special defense to the high levels.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes:
This team can also wreck havoc on some OU teams, but it is highly recommended that you only use it against RU teams.

This is my team's importable:

Amoonguss @ Leftovers

Bold Nature
- Spore

Trait: Big Pecks
EVs: 8 Def / 248 HP / 252 SDef
Careful Nature
- Taunt
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird

Magmortar @ Life Orb
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SAtk / 24 HP / 232 Spd
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Substitute

Piloswine @ Eviolite
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Stealth Rock

Accelgor @ Focus Sash
Trait: Sticky Hold
EVs: 252 Spd / 4 SAtk / 252 HP
Timid Nature
- Spikes

- Focus Blast

Magneton @ Eviolite
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SAtk / 100 Spd / 156 HP
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Charge Beam

Happy using this team,goodbye.

May i suggest a different magmortar set? instead of Life Orb, i would use Choice Scarf, for revenge killing and late game sweeping. Besides, scarfers on teams that are not full stall are almost a necessity:
467Magmortar.png

Magmortar @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power Grass / Hidden Power Ice

Also, welcome to the forums ^_^

The team looks pretty good UltraZap, I always love seeing Mandibuzz getting some use. The one thing that I would like to bring up is the tremendous Entei weakness that this team has. Nothing on the team can, or wants, to take a Choice Band Flare Blitz from Entei; both of your walls would be OHKO'd by it.

One potential thing you could do to mitigate this problem would be trading out Amoonguss for Sloking. A set like this might help you handle Entei while still being able to help spread status like Amoonguss would. Additionally, with regenerator Sloking will be a nice defensive pivot for your team.

199.png

Slowking @ Leftovers
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Thunder Wave/Toxic
- Surf
- Psychic/Psyshock
- Slack Off

Thanks for the suggestions :D
I will not remove amoonguss though, probably mandibuzz as it does not get much use on my team :P

@The Slowking Suggestion:
Sorry,I will use sealeo instead. It has access to stockpile and has thick fat

@The Magmortar Suggestion:
I won't change it,sorry.
I tested it and it does not work D:

Hey UltraZap, welcome to Smogon ^_^ It's really cool to see 'mons like Piloswine seeing use, though if I may I think there are a few things that can be done to improve your team.

Looking at threats to your team, strong Fire-types such as Entei and Moltres look problematic, since nothing can really take repeated hits from them and they can switch in fairly well on Amoonguss (post-Spore), Mandibuzz, and even Magmortar to an extent. Swords Dance Gallade also looks problematic, with its Psychic STAB allowing it to bypass Amoonguss and everything else being OHKOed by a +2 Close Combat.

Looking at this, I feel as though it would be in your best interest to replace Accelgor with Defensive Slowking. As it stands your teams can't really afford to maintain multiple forms of entry hazards as you don't carry a Ghost-type to block Rapid Spin nor the constant offensive pressure to prevent Rapid Spin, meaning that against a team with a spinner you're already put at a disadvantage. Slowking offers your team a solid buffer to most Fire-types, as well as a decent pivot to Gallade (although it shouldn't be relied upon for beating it). Alongside Amoonguss this offers you a solid defensive backbone capable of handling a fairly wide assortment of threats. For reference, here is the set:
199.gif

Slowking @ Leftovers | Regenerator
Calm | 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 SpD
Scald | Psyshock / Fire Blast | Slack Off | Thunder Wave

With your team already fairly well-grounded defensively, I feel as though Mandibuzz is somewhat unnecessary. Without dedicated hazard support Mandibuzz finds difficulty dealing damage, and its role somewhat clashes with Slowking's. In order to provide your team with some much needed speed I would look into Choice Scarf Braviary. Braviary offers your team a strong late-game cleaner with the ability to scout and maintain momentum early in the match thanks to U-Turn. Being immune to Gallade's Shadow Sneak, it also serves as a 100% safe answer to the SD set. Here is my proposed set:
628.gif

Braviary @ Choice Scarf | Defiant
Jolly | 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Brave Bird | U-Turn | Superpower | Return

I would highly recommend the use of Expert Belt over Life Orb on Magmortar. As it stands Magmortar's super effective coverage is already excellent, and the lack of recoil is much appreciated when breaking through defensive cores, most of whom could otherwise Life Orb stall Magmortar. Additionally, I would definitely look into the use of Vital Spirit over Flame Body, sleep-inducing moves are very common in RU and thanks to its typing and decent special bulk Magmortar makes a very solid switch-in to common users of the move. This change would also help you limit opposing Smeargle lead's effectiveness somewhat, being immune to Spore and restricting it to only 2 layers of hazards.
