name: Choice Specs
move 1: Draco Meteor
move 2: Flash Cannon
move 3: Thunder/Thunderbolt
move 4: Steel Beam/Mirror Coat
item: Choice Specs
ability: Light Metal
nature: Bold
evs: 160 HP / 252 Def / 88 SpA / 8 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set, as with many other Choice Specs sets, seeks to KO the opposing Pokemon in one or two turns with its two high Base Power STABs, Draco Meteor and Steel Beam. The third slot is reserved for Electric-type coverage for Steel-types that may otherwise resist both of Duraludon's STABs such as Corviknight. Flash Cannon is used to beat Pokemons like Mimikyu since Steel Beam KOs the user before the opponent, which is important due to Duraludon’s low speed and bulk investment cementing its role as a bulky offense Pokemon. Mirror Coat allows Duraludon to capitalize on its low Special Defense and respectable HP to KO special attackers such as Choice Specs Rotom-H. Duraludon shines against frail Pokemon, as it is able to OHKO many highly rated Pokemon. Its great Defense stat also allows it to take a hit from many physical attackers and KO back, including a Fishious Rend from a Choice Band Dracovish. The EVs for this set are tailored to allow Duraludon to survive high-damaging physical attacks, such as a Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan Superpower. The 8 Speed EVs are to outspeed Crustle. However, because of the heavy drawbacks of Duraludon's moves, it will usually lose matchups that extend beyond the first few turns. Pokemon such as Ferrothorn or Excadrill are able to beat Duraludon because they can survive multiple attacks and either stall it out or KO it back.

As for teammates, Fairy-types are often paired with Duraludon to complete a Dragon-Fairy-Steel core, as they provide super effective coverage against Fighting-types and neutral coverage against Ground-types, the two largest threats to Duraludon. Fairy-type Pokemon such as Aromatisse are also able to deal with Dragapult, who otherwise can OHKO. Other possible teammates include fast Dark-types like Weavile in a meta with many ghost types such as Chandelure, or a taunt user like Mandibuzz to shut down gimmicks or stall Pokemon, a notable example being Toxapex.

This set, as with many other Choice Specs sets, seeks to KO the opposing Pokemon in one or two turns with its two high Base Power STABs, Draco Meteor and Steel Beam. The last two slots are often reserved for coverage moves, and such is the case if the user decides to run Dark Pulse or an Electric-type attack. A Dark-type coverage is run to combat Ghost-types such as Aegislash this doesn’t beat Aegislash at all , while Electric-type coverage is for Steel-types that may otherwise wall Duraludon, such as Corviknight. If the user decides to not run Dark Pulse, Flash Cannon is used instead to beat Pokémons like Mimikyu, since Steel Beam KOs the user before the opponent which is important due to Duraludon’s low speed and bulk investment cementing its role as a bulky offense Pokemon. The EVs for this set are tailored to allow Duraludon to survive high-damaging physical attacks; it barely survives a non-Banded Glarian such as Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan Superpower. The 8 Speed EVs are to outspeed Crustle, and the rest is poured into Special Attack. The abilities, on the other hand are interchangeable, as the only benefits either Light Metal or Heavy Metal gives are that they lower damage from Low Kick and Heat Crash respectively who uses these moves and why is it important to drop Heat crash damage when it’s neutral . However, because of the heavy drawbacks of Duraludon's moves, it will usually lose matchups that extend beyond the first few turns. Pokemon such as Ferrothorn or Excadrill are able to beat Duraludon because they can survive multiple attacks a few Draco Meteors or Steel Beams and either stall it out or KO back.

As for teammates, Fairy-types are often paired with Duraludon to complete a the Dragon-Fairy-Steel core, as they provide super effective coverage against Fighting-types and neutral coverage against Ground-types, the two largest threats to Duraludon. Fairy-type Pokemon are also able to deal with Dragapult, who otherwise can OHKO what are fairy types that work with duraludon?. Other possible teammates include fast Dark-types like? in a Ghost-dominant meta what ghosts , or a taunt user like? to shut down gimmicks or stall Pokemon like?.

This set, as with many other Choice Specs sets, seeks to KO the opposing Pokemon in one or two turns with its two high Base Power STABs, Draco Meteor and Steel Beam. No, this needs to focus on both stabs individually, like which mons u use them for. The third slot is reserved for Electric-type coverage Thunderbolt is used for for Steel-types that may otherwise resist both of Duraludon's STABs such as Corviknight. Flash Cannon is used to beat Pokemons like Mimikyu since Steel Beam KOs the user before the opponent, which is important due to Duraludon’s low speed and bulk investment cementing its role as a bulky offense Pokemon move this up after you talk about draco meteor. Also, is flash cannon used for anything else - say, Crustle?. Where is steel beam? Mirror Coat allows Duraludon to capitalize on its low Special Defense and respectable HP to KO special attackers such as Choice Specs Rotom-H 252+ SpA Choice Specs Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 232 HP / 0 SpD Duraludon: 520-613 (153.3 - 180.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO. Maybe say Incineroar? Duraludon shines against frail Pokemon, as it is able to OHKO many highly rated Pokemon. filler Its great Defense stat also allows it to take a hit from many physical attackers and KO back, including a Fishious Rend from a Choice Band Dracovish. The EVs for this set are tailored to allow Duraludon to survive high-damaging physical attacks, such as a Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan Superpower, +2 Crustle Earthquake, and Choice Band Dracovish.

This entire teammate section is a bit outdated; include mons like Primarina, who beat grounds and fires and opposing duraludon, include a solid necrozma answer, note that duraludon does well against rachi, dragon/fairy/steel is kind of dead right now. Include mons that are special tanks, like Sylveon.

QC reject 1/3, this analysis is fundamentally flawed and needs a huge overhaul. Part of it is bc of Home release, but theres also set/ev issues that i brought up. Please implement what I suggested so i can check again
