Sylveon is an unfathomably strong nuke with some specs on. Pixilated hypervoice Ohkos, if not 2HKOs, a large portion of the meta. And the team helps take care of the ones it just can't break through
Sylveon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psyshock
Sylveon is the star of this team( and is pretty darn cute too).Hyper voice is the move you will be spamming 90% of the time doing big damage to most pokes in OU.Psyshock does decent damage to pokes like Mega-Venasaur and tentacruel that love to switch in, while HP fire (with some predicting) will take care of the ever so common scizor.Shadow ball gets little to no use due to the fact that even resisted, hyper voice does more damage than shadow ball will neutral but sylveon gets almost nothing else so you might as well stick it on there.
Keldeo-Resolute @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Scald
- Secret Sword
The shining horse of justice is a great pairing with sylveon. 2 of sylveons biggets counters being heatran and chansey, Keldeo can set up on with relative ease, or simply hit hard with its STABs. Keldeo also takes care of steels with witch sylveon may have trouble with, namely excadrill and bisharp.(however bisharp can't switch in on a hyper voice anyways).
Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Psyshock
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake
- Roost
Latios is here because this team needed some speed behind it. Psyshock and Draco are required on him, while I choose earthquake over defog for heatrans and tyranatars that think they can just switch in on a Draco. Roost is here in attempt to mitigate the life orb recoil.
Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Giga Drain
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Earthquake
Sceptile is my designated late game sweeper. Being able to outspeed most things in exsistance(even some slower scarfers) I feel he is perfect for this role. Leafstorm and dragon pulse for stab, while giga drain is to recover health and to use if you don't want to risk the , rare but very real, leaf storm miss. Earthquake hits magnezone and other steels that otherwise stop you in your tracks.
Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Foul Play
- Defog
Mandibuzz is the physical wall of this team as well as its defogger. There is nothing really special about it, it just takes hits and gets rid of hazards so my sweepers won't have to worry about extra unnecessary damage on each switch in.
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Wish
- Protect
- Stealth Rock
Jirachi is a monster in UU and the same goes for it in OU. Being able to set up rocks tank hits from most special attackers in the teir. Rocks are great with this team as they force the opponent to either A-limit their switches or B- waste a turn defoging or spinning(which could mean a kill or a free sub with keldeo)
Also being able to pass pretty large wishes could revitalize a weakend latios so he can get a second chance to torment the opponent.
I've laddered a little with this team and it seems pretty solid however I have seen some threats to it
1.Mamoswine, once keldeo is gone mamo can just ripp me apart
2.Mega-beedrill with knock off, though uncommon in ou can gives me some trouble.
3.this team lacks priority, while not huge it hurts when a setup sweeper comss in and your mandibuzz isn't around.
Note-sorry for any spelling errors I might have missed
