XY OU Specs Raikou (Non-meta OU) peaked 1721

Hey guys, this is my second Smogon RMT and in this one I saw an interesting pokemon (specs raikou) and kept thinking how interesting of a pokemon he would be in OU. He is similar to mega manectric in almost every way except he doesnt have a solid fire move.
Team Building
To begin, I started with specs raikou, I wanted to run specs over the standered AV or even the scarf set because specs is not expected and also the added power in a volt switch is great, For some reason the calc that stands out to me is that I can OHKO a bisharp after rocks, He is the beginning volt switcher and is often my lead since he outspeeds most every pokemon.

252 SpA Choice Specs Raikou Thunderbolt vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Bisharp: 271-319 (99.6 - 117.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
Other calcs below
252 SpA Choice Specs Raikou Shadow Ball vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Latios: 222-262 (73.5 - 86.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Choice Specs Raikou Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Latias: 192-226 (63.7 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Choice Specs Raikou Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 432-512 (113 - 134%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Raikou @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball

Its a rather standered specs set, timid is a must over modest since keldeo is a pain and the added power isnt needed.
Volt switch is the most important move since the rest of my team is based around it, thunderbolt for some extra power and shadow ball over extrasensory since my greninja runs extrasensory

250px-212Scizor.png

What started as mega-scizor quickly changed as I realized mega-scizor wasn't needed and u-turn on mega-scizor is a waste, since mega scizors run swords dance it was hard to fit in knock off for chansey aswell as superpower for steel types on a predicted switch. Banded adds immense power and helps kill fairies(Calcs below) Bullet punch 2HKOs fully defensive clefable! The speed wasnt needed as regular scizor doesn't outspeed much anyways and the added health is good for taking a few extra hits. Scizor was the only pokemon I thought of to use in a volt-turn core since landorus-t is annoyingly overused.

212+ Atk Choice Band Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 0 HP / 24 Def Mega Gardevoir: 432-510 (155.9 - 184.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
212+ Atk Choice Band Technician Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 276-326 (70 - 82.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 212 Atk / 48 Def
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Knock Off

I can not tell you how many times the slow u-turn with scizor has caught my opponent in horrible positions, Scizor and greninja work very well together, greninja often weakens an opponents pokemon enough as to where a BP from scizor can KO. The move set is pretty standered except for the 4th slot which is always a toss up, I chose HP fire because I HATE ferrothorn and I dont have any way to deal with it with my team. Ground types which normally wall my first two mons dont appreciate a hydro pump to the face. I was actually going to run scarf to kill landorus so I could get rid of skarmory, any thoughts?

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Extrasensory
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Here are some simple calcs which are nice to know:
252 SpA Life Orb Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 220+ SpD Heatran: 283-335 (73.5 - 87%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Fire vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 333-395 (94.6 - 112.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Hidden Power Fire vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Forretress: 437-515 (123.7 - 145.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Protean Greninja Extrasensory vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Keldeo: 315-374 (97.5 - 115.7%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO

250px-227Skarmory.png

Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Defog
- Stealth Rock
- Brave Bird
Here is where I would like to ask for some help, Skarmory is pretty much just here to wall scarf landorus set up rocks and then die, If I had any other pokemon ideas they would go right here. skarmory has always been sort of bad for me, since magnezone has been running around leftovers has become irrelevant
Ok... the set... sucks, I understad this but it fits what I need. Roost is a must on all skarmories especially without leftovers, defog is needed because of charizard and the volt-turn core, stealth rocks help so much with residual damage especially with this team and lastly... conkeldurr, He 6-0d my team without brave bird, now he is just an annoyance.
250px-248Tyranitar.png

Ok... I understand, tyranitar with excadrill, let me explain. The original idea was to have bisharp to pursuit trap the lati twins after a volt switch except that added 3 steels to my team and magnezone is on every other team now which is why I decided to pursuit trap with tyranitar. Another thing, for some reason I wanted to run an AV pokemon on this team mostly because it needed a good special defense but it had too many holes for one single wall to fill all the voids, Originally I used goodra and thought he was great but the lati twins became a pain after goodra was gone so I switched to conkeldurr but he didn't really do anything, he had no role except to take hits, and the lati twins smacked him. Then I stumbled on tyranitar and he isn't very good. Any suggestions on this spot would be nice

Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Pursuit to kill the lati twins
Stone edge for STAB and also great against talonflame and pinsir
superpower for air baloon heatran
and earthquake because it is generally a great move
all the EVS into Spdef and HP because the added attack doesn't do much

I Stuck with this core for a while and found it rather successful but skarmory and tyranitar are going to be replaced,
At this point Breloom, Clefable(flamethrower),Garchomp(fireblast), Conkeldurr, and mew all were huge threats and they all were too common. I started with medicham mega really for the sole reason he was a physical attacker... he didn't stay very long. I wanted to use Venusaur but I thought he wouldn't fit very with the style of the team. Thus, Charizard-x came along and I cam glad he did as he fits all that I needed.

006Charizard_Mega_X_Dream.png

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Substitute

To fit the theme of odd sets I decided to use substitute on my charizard x, It catches people off guard who try to toxic or even leech seed. This set breaks every threat I used to have for my team and it serves as the final piece to this odd puzzle,

To conclude the team is amazing and is very fun to use but it is not completed, Skarmory and tyranitar are not great and are honestly in need of a replacement. I was thinking about maybe a cleric because raikou get poisoned every game. Anyways if you guys have any suggestions feel free to post, Ill post an updated version once i get to testing,

Small threat list
Mamoswine
clefable(if scizor dies)
sand offense = GG
any sort of excadrill is bad
scarf landorus sweeps if skarmory dies
Mega manectric (I really need help on this one)
if tyranitar dies... GG
Thanks for reading

Yo nice team @thecagedk!!!! If you want a replacement for skarmory I would go with latios and replace t-tar with scarfed keldeo. If lando-t is choice locked into earthquake, you can safely switch in latios and nuke it with Draco Meteor. Or it can be revenge killed by keldeo.
