Gliscor is a premier Spikes user. The combination of Poison Heal and Protect allows it to outlast common entry hazard removal options such as Great Tusk and Cinderace, setting it apart from its peers. Gliscor can survive some of the strongest neutral attacks in the tier with ease, including Life Orb Darkrai's Dark Pulse, Choice Specs Dragapult's Shadow Ball, and Kingambit's Kowtow Cleave. Its immunity to status conditions helps it against more defensively oriented teams, allowing it to be unfazed by Toxic from opposing Gliscor, Galarian Slowking, and Toxapex or by Will-O-Wisp from Cinderace, Skeledirge, and Dragapult. Protect is not just useful for giving Gliscor a free turn of recovery; it is also useful for scouting the moves of Choice-locked Pokemon that are able to break it, like Kyurem and Walking Wake. Toxic is used to whittle away at the foe’s health, as the combination of Toxic and Protect allows the poison damage to worsen while Gliscor heals itself in the process. Gliscor spreads status exceptionally well because most Pokemon immune to Toxic like Clodsire, Archaludon, and Gholdengo are weak to Earthquake. Toxic is not always required though, as Knock Off can be substituted over it to remove foes' Heavy-Duty Boots, allowing teams that rely on hazard stacking to make progress. Knock Off can be slotted in over Toxic on teams that either lack another Knock Off user or have a different Toxic user. A physically defensive EV spread with an Impish nature lets Gliscor check Pokemon like Great Tusk lacking Ice Spinner, Dragonite, Iron Boulder, Gouging Fire, and Roaring Moon. The HP EVs maximize the amount of health Gliscor recovers from Poison Heal, and the Special Defense EVs provide enough special bulk to survive Choice Specs Enamorus's Moonblast and Life Orb Deoxys-S's Psycho Boost from full. A specially defensive EV spread can be run instead to check Pokemon like Heatran, Raging Bolt, and Gholdengo, retaining enough physical bulk to live Ogerpon-W's unboosted Ivy Cudgel from full. Tera Water lets Gliscor flip bad matchups against Water types like Walking Wake and Hisuian Samurott, and Water is a great defensive typing in general. However, this is best reserved as a last resort, since Gliscor immensely appreciates its base typing of Ground / Flying because it immensely appreciates its Stealth Rock neutrality and Spikes immunity. Moreover, Gliscor's teammates will generally get more mileage from Tera, so using it on Gliscor is not worth it most of the time.

Gliscor functions best on entry hazard stacking balance teams, since its role compression provides flexibility in what Pokemon and sets these structures can run. Gliscor’s role as a Spikes setter and Toxic user gives its team a much easier time breaking down opposing defensive balances and pivoting cores, punishing switches and poisoning foes that decide to stay in. Gliscor works in conjunction with its offensive partners by forcing switches while also soaking up incoming attacks from powerful offensive threats, giving it and its teammates ample opportunities to force progress. With these traits, Gholdengo makes an amazing teammate for Gliscor, since after Gliscor sets up Spikes, Gholdengo blocks all removal options aside from Court Change Cinderace, which Gliscor can beat one-on-one. Galarian Slowking is another great teammate, being able to sponge hits from strong special attackers such as Kyurem, Walking Wake, Serperior, and Enamorus, many of which threaten Gliscor out. In return, Gliscor walls physical Ground-type attackers that easily dispose of Galarian Slowking, like Great Tusk, Ting-Lu, and Landorus-Therian. Stealth Rock users such as Ting-Lu and Clefable pair very well with Gliscor, since it cannot use Spikes and Stealth Rock on the same set, and stacking hazards is a very effective way at making progress. Knock Off users such as the aforementioned Clefable, as well as Meowscarada and Weavile, work well with Gliscor, since they allow it to be able to run Toxic to punish bulkier Pokemon, and they are able to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon that do not come in on Gliscor so that hazards can chip more effectively throughout the game. Late-game cleaners such as Dragapult, Meowscarada, and Kingambit all work well with Gliscor too, as they appreciate their checks having to constantly switch and get chipped by Spikes early- and mid-game, putting them into KO range late-game.

Gliscor is a premier Spikes user, with the combination of Poison Heal and Protect allowing it to outlast common hazard removal options such as Great Tusk and Cinderace. i'd be sure to mention how easily it can layer spikes; the status immunity and general resilience it has makes it rly easy to do so Although its special bulk is middling, 125 Defense is nothing to scoff at, because on the physical end, Gliscor can live some of the strongest neutral attacks in the tier with ease. this makes it seem like gliscor's spdef is bad when in actuality it's pretty damn solid with invest. i'd just say its great all around bulk lets it sustain neutral hits with ease, which gets the same point across but more accurately Its immunity to status also helps it in the stall matchup, allowing it to be unfazed against Toxic users such as opposing Gliscor, Slowking-Galar, and Toxapex, as well as Will-O-Wisp users such as Cinderace, Skeledirge, and Dragapult. i dislike saying the stall matchup here. i think it'd be better to just say defensively oriented teams to also cover balances and fat structures that gliscor excels into and can layer spikes against Protect is not just useful for giving Gliscor a free turn of recovery; it’s also useful for scouting out the moves of choiced Pokémon that are able to break it like Kyurem and Walking Wake. Spikes is a key move in Gliscor’s arsenal; it’s extremely good at stacking them up quickly and, with the right team support and good positioning, keeping them up for the duration of the game. Toxic is used to whittle away at the opponent’s health, as Toxic+Protect allows the poison damage to worsen while Gliscor heals itself in the process. i'd discuss how excellent it is as an hp-chunking tool in part because of how many empty turns it generates with protect, and how well it spreads the status due to immunities being weak to eq and how many mons want to switch out against it Toxic isn’t always required though, as Knock Off can be substituted over it on teams that rely on hazard stacking to make progress and deny opposing teams of Heavy-Duty Boots. Gliscor can typically run one of two spreads: physically defensive or specially defensive. Physically defensive is better at checking Pokémon like Great Tusk, Iron Boulder, Gouging Fire, and Roaring Moon, while specially defensive is better at checking Pokémon like Heatran, Raging Bolt, Gholdengo, and Zapdos. Tera Water lets Gliscor flip the bad matchups against Water types like Walking Wake and Samurott-Hisui and is just a great defensive typing in general. However, this is best reserved as a last resort, since Gliscor immensely appreciates its base typing in Ground/Flying because it allows it to be immune to Spikes without being weak to Stealth Rock, mitigating the amount of damage it takes from hazards. other mons tend to get more mileage out of tera too

Gliscor’s role as a Spikes setter spiker gives teams a much easier time breaking down fat balances and pivoting cores, punishing teams for switching around constantly. It also doubles up as a genuinely great blanket check to lots of popular threats like Great Tusk without Ice Spinner, Dragonite, and Iron Boulder. Even with all this, it’s still got a decent offensive presence, as the combination of Toxic+Earthquake hits every Pokémon in the tier bar Skarmory and Corviknight, making it hard to switch in without consequences. With these traits, Gholdengo makes is an amazing teammate for Gliscor, since after Gliscor freely sets up Spikes, Gholdengo blocks all removal options aside from Court Change Cinderace, whom Gliscor can beat 1v1 walls for eternity. Toxapex is another good partner for Gliscor, as it walls the Water and Ice types instead of mentioning kyurem in its own sentence, just list some examples of pokemon that beat gliscor and lose to pex that threaten Gliscor and is a decent check to Heavy-Duty Boots Meowscarada, who can break past Gliscor with Triple Axel and hits all other bulky Water types with super effective Flower Trick. Do note that Toxapex is not a consistent check to Kyurem if it’s packing Freeze-Dry. Late-game cleaners such as Dragapult, Iron Boulder, and Kingambit all work well with Gliscor too, as they appreciate their checks having to constantly switch and getting chipped by Spikes early and mid-game, putting them into KO range late-game. Gliscor’s excellent Ground/Flying typing is part of what makes Gliscor such good role compression, but its quadruple weakness to Ice is a notable downside in a meta with Pokémon like Weavile, Kyurem, and Meowscarada. Pairing it with bulky Water and Steel types who can consistently switch into powerful Ice moves helps Gliscor teams not fold to immediate pressure from powerful Ice type moves. Gliscor also doesn’t like taking too many strong special moves even when specially defensive due to its middling 75/75 special bulk, so fat special walls like Slowking-Galar on bulky offense and Blissey on stall works very well with it.
let me take another look at this before stamping

Gliscor is a premier Spikes user, with the combination of Poison Heal and Protect allowing it to outlast common hazard removal options such as Great Tusk and Cinderace, setting it apart from other Spikes users. Gliscor can live some of the strongest neutral attacks in the tier with ease, and its immunity to status helps it in agasinst more defensively oriented teams, allowing it to be unfazed against Toxic users such as opposing Gliscor, Slowking-Galar, and Toxapex, as well as Will-O-Wisp users such as Cinderace, Skeledirge, and Dragapult. (would be a good idea to give examples of some neutral attacks and then split this sentence into two so ti doesn't get too long with the added content) All of these traits are what set it apart from other Spikes setters and make it easy to get them on the field. (filler sentence, moved relevant content up) Protect is not just useful for giving Gliscor a free turn of recovery; it’s also useful for scouting out the moves of choiced Pokémon that are able to break it like Kyurem and Walking Wake. Toxic is used to whittle away at the opponent’s health, as Toxic+Protect allows the poison damage to worsen while Gliscor heals itself in the process. It's extremely good at chunking the opposing Pokémon's HP due to the amount of empty turns it generates through the use of Protect, and it spreads status exceptionally well due to all the Toxic immunities being weak to Earthquake. (this can definitely just be one sentence - you're repeating a lot of information from the opening of the analysis as well. make sure to give examples for the toxic immune eq weak mons too; analyses should always be contextualised with the meta you're writing about) Toxic isn’t always required though, as Knock Off can be substituted over it on teams that rely on hazard stacking to make progress and deny opposing teams of Heavy-Duty Boots. (knock is best if the team doesn't have a knock user / has another tox user bc otherwise tox is generally better) Gliscor can typically run one of two spreads: physically defensive or specially defensive. (filler when you go on to just explain the speads after) Physically defensive is better at checking A physically defensive EV spread with an Impish nature lets Gliscor check Pokémon like Great Tusk, Iron Boulder, Gouging Fire, and Roaring Moon, opting for 244 HP to maximize the amount of health it recovers from Poison Heal and enough special bulk to live Choice Specs Enamorus's Moonblast and Life Orb Deoxys-Speed's Psycho Boost from full. Specially defensive is better at checking A specially defensive EV spread can be run instead to check Pokémon like Heatran, Raging Bolt, Gholdengo, and Zapdos (zapdos is uu not rly relevant and you check it regardless), and runs enough physical bulk to live Ogerpon-Wellspring's unboosted Ivy Cudgel from full. Tera Water lets Gliscor flip the bad matchups against Water types like Walking Wake and Samurott-Hisui and is a great defensive typing in general. However, this is best reserved as a last resort, since Gliscor immensely appreciates its base typing in Ground/Flying because it allows it to be immune to Spikes without being weak to Stealth Rock, mitigating the amount of damage it takes from hazards. Not only that, Gliscor's teammates will generally get more mileage from Tera, so using it on Gliscor isn't worth it most of the time.

(start this paragraph mentioning what types of teams gliscor fits on) Gliscor’s role as a Spikes setter gives teams a much easier time breaking down fat balances and pivoting cores, punishing teams for switching around constantly. It also doubles up as a great blanket check to lots of popular threats like Great Tusk without Ice Spinner, Dragonite, and Iron Boulder. Even with all this, it’s still got a decent offensive presence, as the combination of Toxic+Earthquake hits every Pokémon in the tier bar Skarmory and Corviknight, making it hard to switch in without consequences. (these points are all correct, but the second paragraph is about teammmates and how to build with gliscor, so it needs to focus on that instead of just saying what gliscor does. it would be good to connect these ideas with teammates that it benefits - is there soemthing that appreciates spikes pressuring fat? what can that to for gliscor in return?) With these traits, Gholdengo makes an amazing teammate for Gliscor, since after Gliscor freely sets up Spikes, Gholdengo blocks all removal options aside from Court Change Cinderace, whom Gliscor can beat 1v1. Slowking-Galar is another great teammate, being able to sponge special attacks from strong special attackers such as Kyurem, Walking Wake, Serperior, and Enamorus, many of whom threaten Gliscor out. (mention what gliscor can provide for slowking as well - with teammates, it's good to think about how they support each other. sometimes it's a one-way thing but most of the time its not, and being able to switch into physical stuff helps) Stealth Rock users such as Ting-Lu and Clefable pair very well with Gliscor since it can't slot in both Spikes and Stealth Rock on the same set, and stacking hazards is a very effective way at making progress in this meta. Knock Off users such as the aforementioned Clefable, as well as Meowscarada and Weavile are work well with Gliscor since they're able to knock Heavy-Duty Boots off of Pokémon who don't come in on Gliscor, so hazards are able to chip more effectively throughout the game. (they also free up gliscor tobe able to run toxic and punsh bulkier stuff with it) Toxapex is another good partner for Gliscor, as it walls the Water and Ice types that threaten Gliscor like Weavile, Walking Wake, and Greninja, and is a decent check to Heavy-Duty Boots Meowscarada, who can break past Gliscor with Triple Axel and hit all other bulky Water types with super effective Flower Trick. (tbh i feel like glowking does all of this better apart from the checking meow part, so i don't really think a whole sentence on pex is fully needed. it's usually better to think abotu teammates as a roles thing instead of a single example each time thing, so if you wanna keep the pex mention, you could add it to the glowking part and talk about "specially defensive checks" or whatever, but cutting it is also fine) Late-game cleaners such as Dragapult, Meowscarada, and Kingambit all work well with Gliscor too, as they appreciate their checks having to constantly switch and getting chipped by Spikes early and mid-game, putting them into KO range late-game.

Gliscor is a premier Spikes user, with the . The combination of Poison Heal and Protect allowing allows it to outlast common hazard removal options such as Great Tusk and Cinderace, setting it apart from other Spikes users its peers. This or some other phrase avoids repeating "Spikes user" in the same sentence. Also avoids two "tacked on" modifier phrases. Gliscor can live some of the strongest neutral attacks in the tier with ease, including Life Orb Darkrai's Dark Pulse, Choice Specs Dragapult's Shadow Ball, and Kingambit's Kowtow Cleave. Its immunity to status conditions helps it against more defensively oriented teams, allowing it to be unfazed against by Toxic users such as from opposing Gliscor, Slowking-Galar, and Toxapex, [RC] as well as or by Will-O-Wisp users such as from Cinderace, Skeledirge, and Dragapult. I suggested the phrasing change "...unfazed by Toxic from [...] or by Will-O-Wisp from [...].", centering the moves over the Pokemon, because it's specifically the status move that Gliscor is unfazed by. Protect is not just useful for giving Gliscor a free turn of recovery; it’s it is also useful for scouting out the moves of choiced Choiced Assuming since Choice [x] are items, this should be capitalized, but I'm not sure and I couldn't find it in the GP Standards. Pokemon that are able to break it [AC] like Kyurem and Walking Wake. Toxic is used to whittle away at the opponent’s health, as Toxic+Protect the combination of Toxic and Protect allows the poison damage to worsen while Gliscor heals itself [AP] in the process, and it Gliscor spreads status exceptionally well due to because most of the Toxic immunities Pokemon immune to Toxic [AC] like Clodsire, Archaludon, and Gholdengo being [AC] are weak to Earthquake. Toxic isn’t is not always required though, as Knock Off can be substituted over it to remove opponents' Heavy-Duty Boots, allowing on teams that rely on hazard stacking to make progress [AP] and deny opposing teams of Heavy-Duty Boots. Removing HDB is what allows making progress, so removing HDB should be mentioned before "making progress". I split the sentence because "why Knock is good" and "when you should use Knock over Toxic" are different topics. It Knock Off can be slotted in over Toxic on teams that either lack another Knock Off user or already have a different You could keep "different" and instead delete "already" here. Toxic user. A physically defensive EV spread with an Impish nature lets Gliscor check Pokemon like Great Tusk without lacking Using "without" here is ambiguous; "Gliscor checks [...] Great Tusk without Ice Spinner" could sound like "Gliscor doesn't need to use Ice Spinner to check Great Tusk". Ice Spinner, Dragonite, Iron Boulder, Gouging Fire, and Roaring Moon [AP] , opting for 244 HP to The HP and Special Defense EV's This sentence mentions surviving special attacks, so you should mention the Sp Def EV's. I reworded to avoid beginning a sentence with a number, but idk Smogon standards about that. maximize the amount of health it Gliscor recovers from Poison Heal and provide enough special bulk to live both Choice Specs Enamorus's Moonblast and Life Orb Deoxys-Speed Deoxys-S's Psycho Boost from full. A specially defensive EV spread can be run instead to check Pokemon like Heatran, Raging Bolt, and Gholdengo, with retaining enough physical bulk to live Ogerpon-Wellspring Ogerpon-W's unboosted Ivy Cudgel from full. Tera Water lets Gliscor flip the bad matchups against Water types like Walking Wake and Samurott-Hisui [AC] and Water is a great defensive typing in general. However, this is best reserved as a last resort, since Gliscor immensely appreciates its base typing in Ground/Flying of Ground-Flying because it allows it to be immune to Spikes without being weak to Stealth Rock [AP] , mitigating the amount of damage it takes from hazards. Mentioning hazard mitigation is redundant since you already mention Ground-Flying helping with SR and Spikes. One rephrasing I like here is "...Gliscor immensely appreciates the Stealth Rock neutrality and Spikes immunity offered by its base typing of Ground-Flying." I didn't want to officially suggest such a big phrasing change, but feel free to add this if you like it! Not only that, Moreover, Gliscor's teammates will generally get more mileage from Tera, so using it on Gliscor isn't is not worth it most of the time.

Gliscor functions best on hazard stacking balance teams since its role compression provides more (More than what? No reason to say more if you're not comparing to alternatives; you could put "great" or something instead.) flexibility in what Pokemon and sets these structures can run. Gliscor’s role as a Spikes setter and Toxic user (Add this since you mention poison damage) gives teams its team a much easier time breaking down opposing fat defensive (sounds more professional) balances and pivoting cores, punishing teams for switching around constantly switches and poisoning those who decide to stay in [AP] , making it hard to reliably break without consequences. (I'm not sure how the last phrase relates to the rest of the sentence, maybe turn it into a separate sentence (since this one is already long) expanding and clarifying?) Gliscor works in conjunction with its offensive partners by being able to force forcing switches while also soaking up incoming attacks from powerful offensive threats, giving it and its teammates ample opportunities to force progress. With these traits, Gholdengo makes an amazing teammate for Gliscor, since after Gliscor freely sets up Spikes, Gholdengo blocks all removal options aside from Court Change Cinderace, whom Gliscor can beat 1v1 one-on-one. Slowking-Galar Slowking-G is another great teammate, being able to sponge special attacks hits (Avoids repeating "special attacks") from strong special attackers such as Kyurem, Walking Wake, Serperior, and Enamorus, many of whom threaten Gliscor out. In return, Gliscor is able to wall walls physical Ground type Ground-type attackers who easily dispose of Slowking-Galar [AC] like Great Tusk, Ting-Lu, and Landorus-Therian. Stealth Rock users such as Ting-Lu and Clefable pair very well with Gliscor since it can't slot in both cannot use Spikes and Stealth Rock on the same set, and stacking hazards is a very effective way at making progress. Knock Off users such as the aforementioned Clefable, as well as Meowscarada and Weavile [AC] work well with Gliscor since they free Gliscor up to be able allow it to run Toxic and to punish bulkier Pokemon [AC] and they are able to knock remove Heavy-Duty Boots off of from Pokemon who don't do not come in on Gliscor, so that hazards are able to can chip more effectively throughout the game. Late-game cleaners such as Dragapult, Meowscarada, and Kingambit all work well with Gliscor too, as they appreciate their checks having to constantly switch and getting get chipped by Spikes early early- and mid-game, putting them into KO range late-game.

A specially defensive EV spread can be run instead to check Pokemon like Heatran, Raging Bolt, and Gholdengo, retaining enough physical bulk to live survive Ogerpon-W's unboosted Ivy Cudgel from full. Tera Water lets Gliscor flip bad matchups against Water types like Walking Wake and Samurott-Hisui Hisuian Samurott, and Water is a great defensive typing in general. However, this is best reserved as a last resort, since Gliscor immensely appreciates its base typing of Ground/Flying Ground / Flying because it immensely appreciates the its Stealth Rock neutrality and Spikes immunity offered by its base typing. Moreover, Gliscor's teammates will generally get more mileage from Tera, so using it on Gliscor is not worth it most of the time.

Gliscor functions best on entry hazard stacking balance teams, (AC) since its role compression provides flexibility in what Pokemon and sets these structures can run. Gliscor’s role as a Spikes setter and Toxic user gives its team a much easier time breaking down opposing defensive balances and pivoting cores, punishing switches and poisoning those who foes that decide to stay in. Gliscor works in conjunction with its offensive partners by forcing switches while also soaking up incoming attacks from powerful offensive threats, giving it and its teammates ample opportunities to force progress. With these traits, Gholdengo makes an amazing teammate for Gliscor, since after Gliscor sets up Spikes, Gholdengo blocks all removal options aside from Court Change Cinderace, whom which Gliscor can beat one-on-one. Slowking-G Galairan Slowking is another great teammate, being able to sponge hits from strong special attackers such as Kyurem, Walking Wake, Serperior, and Enamorus, many of whom which threaten Gliscor out. In return, Gliscor walls physical Ground-type attackers who that easily dispose of Slowking-Galar Galarian Slowking, like Great Tusk, Ting-Lu, and Landorus-Therian Landorus-T. Stealth Rock users such as Ting-Lu and Clefable pair very well with Gliscor, (AC) since it cannot use Spikes and Stealth Rock on the same set, and stacking hazards is a very effective way at making progress. Knock Off users such as the aforementioned Clefable, as well as Meowscarada and Weavile, work well with Gliscor, (AC) since they allow it to be able to run Toxic to punish bulkier Pokemon, and they are able to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon who that do not come in on Gliscor (RC) so that hazards can chip more effectively throughout the game. Late-game cleaners such as Dragapult, Meowscarada, and Kingambit all work well with Gliscor too, as they appreciate their checks having to constantly switch and get chipped by Spikes early- and mid-game, putting them into KO range late-game.
