spiritomb vs kindra

i am looking for a special sweeper that can take hits on a switch in, and was curious about spritomb and kingdra in particular. My physical wall is a tangrowth, so kingdra would be really useful to switch in right after a predicted fire atack. Spiritomb can suck up fighting, normal, and psychic attacks. Spiritomb with HP fighting and shadow ball can hit anything for neutral damage whereas kingdra has the potential to be super effective on dragons. Spiritomb can nasty plot whereas kingdra cant. What would you guys suggest to use here? I had a spiritomb as an opener / wall once with pursuit and sucker punch and was really unimpressed on many levels. The idea of a sp/ sweeper seems sorta promising but it still scares me a bit against the likes of garchomp and tyranitar, as does kingdra. I get a bit frustrated sometimes seeing things liek garchomp in the same tier as tangrowth and spiritomb, as both can be one shotted by the mighty chain chomp and friends, but i get flamed everytime i try to discuss the nature of the tiers (so i wont do it here.) so how about it- kingdra or spiritomb?

They are apples and oranges really, and therefore discussion outside of context would be futile. It would be better if you just posted a RMT and put one of them in the spot, then ask if it was better to replace one with the other.
