SS OU Splash Turn: a wet twist on old strats

Hey guys I'm a volt-turn lover and I want to make something interesting in terms of a volt-turn by combining it with rain. I don't really know if my logic is sound but here is what I plan to do. I believe if you combine the fast hyper offense of rain with the momentum keeping volt-turn you can create a team that keeps constant pressure on the field. My idea here is still relatively new so expect some oversights but here is the squad.

Pelipper @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 168 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD / 80 Spe
Bold Nature
- Weather Ball
- Roost
- U-turn
- Defog

--> Pelipper is a staple of rain. Like seriously you can't make a rain team without Pelipper in OU it's not viable. But here are some changes I gave pelipper some speed investments because originally I wanted it to have a slow u-turn to scout the opponents team but also to have a slow rain against the other weathers but it just caused Pelipper not be able to get off of the field. I also chose Weather Ball over Hurricane because the water coverage would be more beneficial to covering the teams weakness than Flying would.

Zapdos @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Static
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 220 Def / 40 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Hurricane
- Roost
- Defog

--> Zapdos can help get the more offensive team members out onto the field. Zapdos can also come in on physical attacks and soak up damage while also having a chance to paralyze them to cripple them even more. With rain up Zapdos can land a huge 100% Hurricane and because of the volt-turn part of the team there will be a lot of switching involved Zapdos along with Pelipper can help remove hazards to lower the damage taken from hazards.

Seismitoad @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Weather Ball
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave

--> Seismitoad can come in set up hazards and even dish out pretty decent damage. Being a rain team electric type can be problematic and with my idea of having a fast-paced offense with this team, I could seem to fit a bulky water type in the team without problems from electric types. Seismitoad is different he is a water ground type which is a great defensive typing and having the swift swim ability he can come in a catch some opponents off guard with his speed.

Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Draco Meteor
- U-turn
- Thunder

--> Dragapult is a good offensive pivot (don't know if I used that term correctly), he can come in safely from the plenty of volt-switch or u-turn users and dish out massive damage because Dragapult is well Dragapult. Then if he comes in on something that it can't do well against he can switch out easily with a u-turn and send out someone safer. Lastly, I chose thunder over hydro pump and flamethrower because it's rain 100% thunders is great.

Barraskewda @ Choice Band
Ability: Swift Swim
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Liquidation
- Close Combat
- Flip Turn
- Aqua Jet

--> Rain plus Barraskewda equals good. Really there is not much to say for having Baraskeweda it's rain he is a staple of rain teams. Come in do damage and get out. With the help of the switch out moves on the team he can get in relatively safely allowing him to do his big damage.

Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SpA / 80 SpD
Calm Nature
- Future Sight
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Scald

--> Slowking-Galar was added to bring some much-needed bulk to the team. He can easily switch in on special attackers soak up damage set up future sight when they switch out or try to deal decent damage to it. Slowking-Galar can even deal with the steel and ice types that give the team trouble with flamethrowers and cripple physical attackers with scald. Overall the tank of the team especially with regenerator longevity

Overall this is the team I hope it came out pretty decent, but I know there are oversights and the main ones I know are it has a bad weakness against set up sweepers, ice types, and ferrothorn
