SV OU Spreading Status across OU

Im looking for some help to get this team to shine. It feels close to working really well but when I play with it, it seems to come up short. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The team:

Dragapult @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 76 Atk / 180 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dragon Darts
- Hex
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp

Dragapult acts as the most common lead for the team, being the fastest and a pivot. Hex becomes increasingly powerful as the game goes on and more opposing mons get status-inflicted. Wisp is great as a lead when you can bluff a specs/u-turn and immediately cripple physical leads and switches.

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Recover
- Toxic
- Haze
- Chilling Water

Toxapex is another status-spreading mon who also stops set-up sweeps. Chilling water is used to prevent taunt from walling this set while having some utility of lowering opposing mon’s attack.

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Tomb

Breloom often ends up being a cleaner with mach punch, but outside of that, he also is another set-up stopper with his spore and sash combo. Rock Tomb is used to hit flying and fire types like dragonite and volcarona.

Skeledirge @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Torch Song
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Slack Off

Skeledirge is the next mon who both spreads status and capitalizes from it, through hex. Skel’s longevity is increased by slack off to heal and w-o-w to cripple physical attackers. Torch song takes advantage of his Unaware ability, allowing him to reverse set up on several mons and then sweep.

Corviknight @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
Level: 99
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- U-turn
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Defog

Corviknight is the slow pivot and hazard control for the team. Brave bird is used to hit the likes of Iron Valiant, Great Tusk, and other fighting types. The minimum speed and lv 99 is just precaution to underspeed opposing corviknight. Tera ground is to gain an electric immunity which this team can struggle with.

Dragonite @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Multiscale
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 144 HP / 252 Atk / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake

Dragonite, the last mon of the team, is typically the cleaner. Espeed takes out many weakened mons at the end of the game. Earthquake is primarily used to cover Gholdengo and other steel types. I use the bulkier build so that Dragonite can set up but also have an easier time cleaning with Espeed if he needs to tank a hit in between.

I have tried many versions of this team, keeping the first 4 but swapping others trying to find the best match. I have tried various combinations of Corviknight, Dragonite, Ting-Lu, Great Tusk, and Quakaval. Each combination seems to be missing something vital.

I have also considered swapping out Dragapult as it ends up usually just as a lead mon and not doing that much more compared to Skel/Breloom/Toxapex - but i'm not sure who would be a good replacement.

Thank you so much for any feedback!

t-wave + hex ghold might help, it's got incredible bulk, and another status spreader that can still dish out a fair amount of damage
As in Ghold over Dragapult? Or in one of the other spots. It sounds very promising im just worried that my team will be way too slow then, and it would be lacking a consistent lead. As it stands I do agree Ghold is probably better, but what could fill the roll pult was playing without weakening the team too much?

Speed control is quite important, but this team has other ways to deal with faster threats. It's got as variety of different bulky Mons, including :toxapex:, an unaware Mon in :skeledirge:, and :corviknight:. And you do also have two priority Mons, one being sash breloom and the other being e-speed d-nite, so speed control really isn't an issue on this particular team, so it's probably best to replace :dragapult:. If you were really worried about speed control, you could try running it over skele, but I wouldn't recommend this.

Here's the ghold set if you decide to use it.

Gholdengo @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hex
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Make It Rain / Nasty Plot

If you want to, you could run 252 Hp / 252 Def and/or NP over make it rain, but this is what I'd recommend unless your using over skele.

Also have you tried using pokepaste? It makes it easier to import, and easier to make an overall look at the team. For example, here's the paste for the updated team.

I hope this justification makes you decide to use ghold and I hope you have fun with the team.
