Other Metagames [SS Alternatium] Somebody That i Used To Know

first off, sorry if theres anything wrong, this IS my first post in the RMT (sub?)forum after all.
(Moretto literally wrote basically everything here, he has the metagame knowledge, after all. so huge props to him!)

With the metagame almost ending, i thought an RMT could be a good finale for this mod, as a celebration. So me and Moretto teamed up to make the probably last RMT of this mod. We also chose this song as the song of the RMT to make the ending more notable.
song is here.

We started with Corsola and Eternatus because those Pokémon make a pretty nice core, and we went with a Bulky Attacker Corsola set paired with a Recover offensive Eternatus set, so we could have an offensive presence as well, and while Corsola doesn't have that many EVs on Special Attack, its 145 SpA stat makes up for it, while being immune to Toxic with Immunity. So overall, two really strong presences at the team.

:corsola: :eternatus: :shaymin:
Lettuce (Shaymin) @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aromatherapy
- Recover
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
:shaymin:

Type: Grass
Poison Heal / Unaware
Creator: Moretto
New Moves: Recover, Knock Off
Seeing that our team was weak to Ground-types, and Sandslash-Lustrous is an S tier, we added Shaymin to the team. Shaymin can tank a lot of hits with its amazing Defense stat and good HP stat. Being able to tank hits from SD Sandslash with Unaware and being able to survive banded Fire Punches is really nice for our team, and makes it even easier for the team to perform well.

:corsola: :eternatus::shaymin::morpeko:
PEKO (Morpeko-Marsh) @ Leftovers
Ability: Wash Up
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Atk / 176 SpD / 28 Spe
Careful Nature
- Power Whip
- Parting Shot
- Knock Off
- Recover
:morpeko:
80 | 100 | 95 | 50 | 115 | 110
Type: Dark / Grass
Strong Jaw / Wash Up
Creator: Deviation395
New Moves: Darkest Lariat, Grassy Glide, Hammer Arm, Knock Off, Power Whip, Sucker Punch, U-turn, Bulk Up, Haze, Recover, Spikes, Spiky Shield, Toxic
Removed Move: Aura Wheel
Wash Up: Summons Water Sport on Switch-in.
Now with Shaymin, we get pretty weak against Deoxys-Speed, since its able to use drawbackless Overheats and Psycho Boosts while also having HDB as an ability combined with those effects. So we added Morpeko-Marsh. This might seem a little suspicious at first glance since its a Grass-type and Deoxys-Speed is a Fire-type, but Wash Up makes it summon Water Sport on a switch-in, protecting allies from upcoming Overheats. This also checks Kyogre-Primal, the third and last S tier Pokémon.

:corsola: :eternatus::shaymin::morpeko::sandslash:
Neo (Sandslash-Lustrous) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pixilate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Return
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch
:sandslash:
79 | 125 | 75 | 69 | 85 | 97
Type: Ground / Fairy
Sand Rush / Pixilate
Creator: JosJet
New Moves: Quick Attack, Fake Out, Play Rough, Fire Punch
Sandslash-L is one of the best Pokémon in the tier, having STAB Pixilate Return + STAB Earthquake, with Fire Punch and Stone Edge as coverage options for it. This also has a role as a Spinner, but we are using Scarfed Sandslash-L for Speed Control and having a reliable option to break past opposing Pokémon physically, so this was the perfect choice.

:corsola::eternatus: :shaymin::morpeko: :sandslash: :genesect:
Prodigy (Genesect) @ Leftovers
Ability: Mirror Armor
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flip Turn
- Techno Blast (Base)
- Bug Buzz
- Ice Beam
:genesect:
75 | 105 | 105 | 120 | 80 | 100
Type: Bug / Steel
Mirror Armor
Creator: Regic Boat
New Moves: Volt Switch, Flip Turn, Poison Jab, Icicle Crash, Recover
Removed Moves: Shift Gear, Extreme Speed
Techno Blast: 90 Power, 90 Accuracy, 16 PP, Special, Physical if user's Attack > Sp. Atk. matches user's Secondary type.
To end the team, we used base Genesect to have a nice Ice resist, since almost all mons in this team took super-effective from the type. It has a Pivot Option combined with Leftovers, Techno Blast and Bug Buzz for STABs, and Ice Beam for some really nice coverage.

funnily enough, the one threat i could identify here aside from of course :deoxys-speed: is :rotom-fan:, wich can easily sweep the team and just chip Shaymin unless it can get KO'd before that. however, it can be threatened by scarf Sandslash-Lustrous.
because moretto is not online rn i can't get help on the threatlist, so that'll have to wait a bit. though i WILL update it when i have time and when me or moretto find threatning things

before this RMT was made, the Zygarde slate had not finished yet so they have not been taken into account at all.

Team is a bit awkward in my opinion, lacking the means to regulate hazard control outside of Eternatus which can be easily exploited as it has pitiful bulk on the physical side. Ice as you said is a major thorn in your team's hide, and there are plenty of viable Ice types that simply do not care about what Genesect has to do against them, especially since it's not running any bulk, it can be easily overwhelmed. No hazards of your own is also a major bummer. I'd suggest running Stealth Rock over Ice Beam on your Corsola, as the move does not generally hit anything Moonblast + Earth Power does for notable damage, and adding Spin on your Morpeko.
